If I could give 10 stars I WOULD!! I've used Box Bro in the past to purchase 48"x 96" cardboard pieces for a church stage production for VBS. It's that time of year again and I reached out for the same reason. I called to see if they would put 11 pieces to the side for us and the owner himself answered the phone even while on vacation! He said to just call the morning of, and make sure there were enough and I could pick them up the same day. I called to have them placed to the side and Kumar who answered the phone was so great! He said there were enough in stock. We weren't able to pick them up the same day as planned but we swung by the following day and they were still available. Thank the Lord! When I walked in Kumar greeted me politely and I told him I was the tardy customer who called for the cardboard pick up the day before. He was very kind and went to check and see if there 11 in stock which there were. He had someone take them to the driveway to be loaded into the back of our truck where my husband was waiting to load. We were in and out in less than 5 min! I spent a lot of time online price shopping and you will NOT find a better price. We needed packing services done while in town and found this business on Yelp with great reviews. I would totally have given them a 4.5 if I could. We decided to stop in and get a few quotes. Tom helped us and gave us exactly what we needed. He was very helpful. We paid up front and he gave us the dimensions for our order which we needed to calculate to see if we could get it on the plane for our trip back home. I'm assuming our order was bigger than expected because the dimensions were bigger than what was initially given to us. We wished somwone would have called us to let us know it would have been bigger than expected. Everything had worked out though but we did have to store one box at a friend's home until our next trip due to the size. Tom did a really great job packing the items as well. Everything was packed properly and made it back home in 1 piece. The items we had packed did contain glass and we were very satisfied with the work done paking them. Prices were fairly reasonable for the service we had done as well. They have a large assortment of box sizes and Tom was able to reconfigure the box sizes to meet our needs and we were very happy about that. I called the Polaris address location to see if they could construct a box with specific measurements. The woman who answered the phone told me they could do it. I drove 10 miles to their location. Upon walking in the door, I wasn't sure if I was in the right place. When I asked, I was insulted. And then when I asked if they could make my box, the fellow there said they couldn't do it. So, yesterday's trip to the local UPS store was not a success. I had them box my computer, knowing personally that I was not going to ship through UPS. I just told the associate there that I wanted it ready to ship at a later date keeping dimension inch totals as low as possible. He inflated the dimensions with so much padding and excess box that I was ultimately not able to ship via the post office. For our imminent move, I purchased most of our 182 boxes from a certain national truck rental company. (Free delivery of big boxes of boxes right to the door is a tempting thing when you're just a wuss with a hatchback.) Inevitably, though, I hit the Weird Zone, the place you stare down after all the normal-sized stuff is boxed and small/medium/extra large no longer cuts it. In previous moves I'd just thrown such items into the trunk, but that pinko hippie boxless lifestyle doesn't work when you're moving overseas, unless you're a steel tycoon circa 1903 with knickerbocker-wearing flunkies to load your irregulars into the hold of an ocean liner. "All must be boxed!" said the shipping company, and so off I trotted to Box Brothers. I was a little dismayed when I saw that BB was a little store inside of a strip mall. It made me think of all those postal centers, which made me think, "Oh great, another place where it's ten bucks to get something longer than 12" on one side." Mutter mutter, cynicism, mutter. As soon as I opened the door, my skepticism started to evaporate. So many choices! I kept swinging my head from side to side, not even sure where to start looking. Luckily the guy at the counter was very sharp and friendly and could tell me what sizes he had without even breaking eye contact. Within a minute I had all five "weird" sizes picked out within an inch of my specifications. Zip-zip, and I was ready to carry the lot to the car. Which totally didn't happen, because the guy insisted on carrying the larger boxes to my car with me, patiently waiting while I climbed into the backseat and reconfigured it to lie down (which also meant he was holding up my hatchback door the entire time since its hydraulics are shot), then using math and large-scale origami smarts to fold the boxes in a manner that would fit gracefully. I sincerely hope with all of my heart that, after a lifetime of moving, I never ever need to buy boxes again, but if I do, I'll be looking for this level of professionalism, courtesy, and selection. Headed down there today because I needed a special sized box and their website says they have a huge selection, on top of a quote for shipping a large instrument. When I got there, they really did have a great selection! They didn't have a box for the precise dimensions I needed, so Chris (the amazing gentleman who helped me) had a box cut up closer to my needs at no extra charge. He also got me a quick quote on my instrument and told me precisely what they would do and how it would be packed to ensure its safety. The staff is so friendly and very easy to talk to. Most importantly, you can tell they take pride in their work (there was a book that showed a few pictures of their many moves and all the effort put into packaging furniture, items, and other instruments too). In choosing a moving or shipping service, I think there's nothing more important than the care someone takes when handling your posessions in something as stressful or chaotic as a move, or when shipping something valuable. I'm happy to have found a great service through them and I feel relieved that I will be able to go to them for anything difficult I may need to ship. This review is based on price and quality of the boxes. I went there to get some 16-16-16 corrugated shipping boxes. I was charged $3.49 per box. The boxes I received were so thin it could have pass for moving boxes. Home Depot has slightly larger boxes which is their regular medium 18-18-16 box for only $1.12. Their heavy duty medium box which are double corrugated wall are still less at only $2.28. read more

Interesting experience today. I have been a customer of Box Bros. for many years and have never had a problem until today. I asked the price on a item and it was acceptable so I told the employee I had a coupon which I would like to use and handed it to him. The employee told me he had not seen the coupon before which was ok. I told him it was from the Entertainment book and for years Box Bros. has had this coupon. The employee told me that Box Bros was recently bought by another company so he would not honor the coupon. I told him that the Box Bros. name was still on the door and he said they were still going to use the Box Bros Name which does make sense. I than told the employee that in the past I have received military or AAA discounts so could he apply that discount to my purchase. He rang up the sale at the regular price and I asked was he going to apply the other discount and his response was no because I had an attitude about the Box Bros. coupon so why should he do that for me. I told him I do not do business this way and I will buy my items elsewhere. I also told him his business practice was very poor and I left. He should have been able to figure out that I was a repeat customer of Box Bros when I mentioned the past discounts however he did not. Very poor costumer service with this employee.
