I had to leave this review while it fresh on my mind. Ryan who was working for the party city balloon section inside the staples was so informative and friendly. He told me all the deals on the balloons and directed me in any direction if I needed help. I haven't even received my order yet but I have no doubt that it will come out amazing like the service I received from Ryan. Also hunter who was the cashier was very friendly as well. This Staples location has the TSA PreCheck Enrollment Center! One of my family members had completed the TSA PreCheck application online. When booking an appointment, this Staples location was on the list to complete the enrollment process instead of having to go down to the Airport! We decided to book the reservation time for a Saturday morning around 11:30 A.M. This Staples is located in North Las Vegas, in one of the newer areas. It was in a large shopping plaza, next to Ross. There was plenty of parking spaces too! As we walked inside the Staples, we saw the signage for the TSA PreCheck enrollment. When we first went over to the area, there wasn't any team members. After waiting about 5 minutes, a team member from Staples came over. We had informed her that we had a reservation and was there to complete the PreCheck enrollment. If you have your passport, the process is seamless! After confirming the application ID, going through the application, confirming all of the correct data, you'll get your fingerprinted and have a photo taken. The team member informed my family member that it would take up to 5 business days for the KTN (Known Traveler Number) to be provided. It's pretty inexpensive too, approximately $78.00 for the TSA PreCheck and it lasts for 5 years before you have to renew again! The TSA PreCheck saves me so much time at the airport. The lines are a lot shorter, and you don't have to take off your shoes! I'd highly recommend TSA PreCheck if you travel often. read more

I normally end up in Staples because I have to return an Amazon package... Some of their prices on their regular items are some what high, but if you shop around, you may be able to catch soon clearance too! I always stroll through, and check it out. The location is convenient! I looked at some of the office chairs in the back and they all seem nice quality, but some of the prices are all over so if you catch one of them on clearance, I would grab it. I also had some business cards & stickers printed here and they did pretty well! The quality on the black was just ok, but it could have been the image I uploaded. It was my first time, but I would reorderz The turn around time was fairly quick. read more

This review is for the TSA PreCheck ENROLLMENT CENTER inside this location of Staples. Wow, what an easy transaction to get enrolled for TSA PreCheck here. After filling out the application online (TSA.GOV), you can make an appointment for this location. On the date of my appointment, with my drivers' license and passport in hand, it took about 10 minutes to be fingerprinted and have my photo taken. The very friendly young lady who helped me then told me I would receive my Known Traveler Number in about 3-5 business days, but I got it the very next day by e-mail. The cost is $78 for 5 years, which I think is worth it for less of a hassle at airport security. The TSA PreCheck line lets you skip taking off your shoes, belts, light jackets, and 3-1-1 liquids. Although you should make an appointment, they do take walk-ins here, too. So happy I finally got around to doing this. read more

I made an in-store print job for over 1100 pages, was given a price estimate which didn't match the price I ended up having to pay at the counter when picking up the order the next day. Then she tried to claim that she had showed me the price on the computer, which she had (albeit it was lower), and said that I had seen the higher price that she ended up charging me. Condescending customer service all around, then tries to buy me off with a $25 in store credit, which amounts to basically nothing by the time I spend the gas and time to get to the store. Will not return. These folks are the reason the office-supply business is going OUT of business. read more

Despite what their website implies, Staples only sources out special printing projects, though mine was very simple. They will scan in your info and rough drafts but then you go through the red tape of waiting for them to call you. After that it's a lot of back and forth process online. They obviously hate face to face customer interaction. I gave up. I found a good mom and pop place which had much much better customer service and attention. Avoid the inefficiency and red tape of Staples and UPS, eg., they aren't really cut out for printing your project. read more

I went to Staples for the express purpose of getting my Covid-19 vaccination card laminated, as well as Diane's, since the card edges were already separating and falling apart in my wallet. I entered the store, as I have before, and headed for the copying and customer service desk where laminations are done. Halfway across the carpet I saw a sign announcing that if lamination of a vaccination card was desired, please stop and fill out the short form on the table where the sign was mounted. It asked for name, email address, and telephone number. Then at the bottom I saw the word "FREE," followed by "one per customer". I filled another form out for Diane, and took both to the customer service desk, stating that if the store wanted to charge me for laminating Diane's card besides my own, that was okay. It was then suggested that because the lamination process had greatly darkened the vaccine lot numbers on some cards so that they were hardly readable, perhaps I would prefer laminating a copy of each card. I demurred at this idea, since I already had self-made copies of both cards at home, and could foresee that at venues where proof of Covid-19 vaccinations would be required for entry, cruise line representatives, stadium security guards, and other countries' governmental officials might be wary of forgeries, and willing to only accept original vaccination cards. Since a representative of the Southern Nevada Health District is the person who recommended that I laminate my vaccination card, doing this to the original seemed to be an acceptable practice. My original Moderna vaccination card was not going to last much longer in its already frayed condition, and I didn't think it fair to use Diane's as the guinea pig, so I handed over my card to be laminated, acknowledging that I knew no guarantees were being made concerning its readability after this process. Thirty seconds later my laminated card was returned to me, and all of the letters and numbers on it were crystal clear. So I handed over Diane's card for similar treatment. Hers was returned in pristine reading condition, as well. And I was not charged a penny for either transaction. You can't beat that price for lamination services. Kudos to Staples for doing this as a public service! read more

She's assisted us in the past when we printed a huge poster. Next, we checked out their chairs--my husband found one he really liked which was offered at a super sale price. Their associate, Antonino, helped us again on this visit by telling us about the weekly deals and special discounts; the way we can use the Staples app for price matching; and basically how to get the best pricing and rewards points. Omg, we ended up buying a great gaming chair and a Thomasville corner desk which is perfect for my sewing/craft room. and we saved hundreds. I had a print order that I placed and when I went to go pick it ip, the print lamination was rippled and not what I had hoped for. I was informed that due to the paper I chose that the lamination had a hard time with it. The rep offered to reprint and see if they can get a better print out/lamination for me. I was reluctant that it would work but said sure. Left for about 30 minutes and upon my return the reprint was worlds better and they compensated me greatly for the inconvenience. Dikey buff old lady was rude. I came in for Cookie Monster heads and I i specifically asked her if I can do 24 Cookie Monster heads 5-6 per page then laminate. She wanted to charge me 24 pages with one Cookie Monster head and then she said that I have to cut each one then come back for her to laminate 24 cookie head pieces. I thought this was staples, can't you right click "copy and paste" to add more Cookie Monster heads per one page? The lady was not helpful and seemed to not like her job that much. I am so disappointed with the Staples at 6960 North 5th St N Las Vegas, NV 89084. I have used the print center for seventeen years and loved the service. I spent 15 minutes driving to this location to get three pieces of paper copied onto card stock, and laminated, and the young lady said I needed to come back in an hour, plus they don't have laminating film. I was so disappointed in the service. I had to drive home only to turn around and drive back because the young lady could not put three pieces of card stock into the copier and press the print button. Some supplies are reasonably price, but the print shop is not what it used be. read more

NEVER in the past 10 years have I had any of the employees give me any hassle until this new manger BRYAN. His employee are amazing, never give me any trouble, the last time I was here one of his employees offered to put my items in a large clear poly bag for safer shipping. Yet, whenever he assist me, he hassles me the whole time about how I choose to ship my items! NO ONE else does this, just HIM. I will be writing a letter to corporate.
