For the past couple of years, THIS is the UPS that is run right. They greet every customer if there is a line and they are friendly, extremely helpful, and very attentive. I recently moved to the area near the UPS located at 10470 W. Cheyenne. I actually go to this store pretty regularly as it is very convenient to be able to return items to Amazon and for other services such as shipping. Upon my very first time at this location I met Tara and Danielle. From the very beginning to the present, these two ladies provide beyond excellent customer service and really make me feel valued as a customer. They are both always very pleasant, helpful, and have a smile on their face. I must say that both of them truly represent UPS in a very positive way and I really want them to be acknowledged. READ ME! We use this location quite a bit as they're closest to us and we do a lot of UPS shipping. First, the store is always clean and well manned. There's always a friendly hello and great service. But... THE REAL REASON I'M HERE: I went to drop some packages like normal. I walk in and see who I believe is either the owner or manager. (Taller 50s male with blonde ish hair) Let's call him Mr. UPS because I forgot his name I overheard. Mr. UPS is standing outside on an emergency call trying to get a gentleman help who appeared to need some help with a mental health issue. I overheard a little as I was going in and wasn't sure exactly that was what was going on but I noticed how assuring and kind he was being. I overheard Mr. UPS introducing himself and asking the gentleman his name to what I assume was to make the man feel more comfortable. I finished my business inside and went out to leave. Mr. UPS then went inside and brought the gentleman out a chair, situated him and told him to relax while they waited. This young man going through something and was met with KINDNESS, GENTLENESS AND HUMANITY! We shouldn't be surprised to see this kind of behavior, it should be the norm! But since it sadly isn't, I'll just say: Your discrete efforts to help someone in need was noticed and I'm happy to share that with fellow yelpers. DO NOT GET YOUR PASSPORT PHOTOS DONE HERE!!!!!!!! I hope my unfortunate and completely preventable Passport Application nightmare experience can help the next poor customer! Back in July, my son and I went in to get passport photos done to mail with our application/renewals. I received a letter on January 18th, 2023 (6 months later) stating our applications were DENIED because our pictures DID NOT meet the requirements stated in the application. What makes it even worse is that when I went with photos in hand back to The Ups Store they made me go through hoops to get a refund and the store mgr who had to be called did not even offer an apology?!!!!! She had the audacity to "tell me" I would have to wait til Monday to get this handled. Absolutely Unacceptable While the associates who had to deal with this inconceivable issue were actually very sorry and tried to help as much as they could (Jay and Aaron) Danielle Nero (MGR.) was the farthest thing from empathetic or apologetic or even accommodating. In the end after showing the official letter from The Dept of State and finding the bank statement from the day we took our photos my debit card was fully refunded. I left the photos and allowed them to take a photocopy of the letter to help better train their associates and staff. Needless to say we have yet to receive our passports, thus unable to make the trip we planned last year. This is an extremely frustrating situation that I hope they took very seriously. Please make sure when advertising you offer passport photos your staff is equipped to handle this extremely important part of the US Passport application/renewal process!!! Hope my sons and my experience can help the next poor customer who needs a passport photo. The guidelines are very specific. Hope this helps and use the US Post Office or FedEx for your Passport Photos. A very difficult lesson to learn. read more

This store deserves a 5 for great employees like their Notary, Aaron, the morning store manager and several others. Regrettably, they also have an associate who clearly loathes her job. She is sarcastic, unprofessional and rude. She interrupts incessantly, tells you she knows more than you and that you don't know what you're talking about, only to find out that she was wrong on every count for which she will then not take responsibility. While my interaction with her was completely awful, I wouldn't tarnish the whole store of industrious, happy and professional people because of one maladjusted person. If you run into her, just ask for another associate, ...and your experience will be immeasurably improved, positive and professional. If no one else is around because it's a Sunday, do yourself a favor, and just come back when the superlative employees are working again on Monday. Don't let one bad apple spoil the whole bunch, as the expression goes. read more

A couple of weeks ago when I discovered this location opened up a block away from me, I was so excited that I found an excuse to mail a package. I had been going to another location for awhile, and dreaded each visit. The associate who assisted me on my first visit was a new employee. Not just to the store itself, but to the franchise. The transaction I needed was one she had not yet been trained on. She did PHENOMENAL and was very kind and courteous as well. When she called her store manager for direction, assumably on her day off possibly, I could hear in the manager's tone that she was more than willing to help her employee with the task. Then sent a document to be printed, I signed it, they scanned the signed document & emailed it for me. Great Staff and very considerate owner. Shut this store down. They do a dis service to the local community. I live one block from this store and EVERY time I go in there they try to upsell to UPS when I want postal only. I always have the same 5x7 envelope that my wife totally tapes up with clear tape so gift card won't be taken out of the envelope. It has happened 3 times this year sending gift cards to Pahrump. When she tapes it up fully we have had no problems since. When coming into this UPS store only I am always told USPS won't except the envelope that way and I have to send it UPS. B.S. I go down the block to GO N Postal and no problem for $1.51. I am tied of the lying B.S. at this UPS store only. If I am in the neighborhood in Summerlin at that UPS store never a problem. I guess the owner of this W. Cheyenne store like to rip people off. Filing a compaint with UPS regional office. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BRANCH ONLY. read more

I work from home and am always home. On July 12th they claim that they tried to deliver a package to my house. I tried multiple times to contact this store to pick up my package. They always said it was in transit and not in the store. Today they told me it had been returned to sender. This is one of the most incompetent companies I've had the pleasure of dealing with. Unfortunately during my most recent visit I have had the worst experience with this company. I double packaged some pictures to be sent and go figure the package went missing. Irreplaceable pictures GONE! They say I have to wait 1 week before they can submit a claim. I wait a week, they start the claim. They say they will be in touch but they aren't. So I continue to call and they say we will get you a refund of $100 dollars if it is approved... okay... Nothing. I call back, I don't care about the money those pictures are IRREPLACEABLE! It has been close to a month and no delivery, no updates, no refund. Please find and deliver my package! read more
