This morning I went in to this post office to mail books back to a school. I waited in line for the next available post office worker. The post office workers name is Patricia. I asked Patricia where are the boxes. She deliberately pointed to the most expensive boxes. The post office did not have the priority boxes out on purpose. They had the priority box hidden out of sight. Then I had to buy tape that cost me $3.49. This is ridiculous. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I hate this carrier with a passion. I was supposed to get a package which didn't come, so I rescheduled the delivery for the next day. The next day comes and my order STILL isn't here. I call the next day and they tell me that they actually can't redeliver it to my house and that I have to pick it up. I'm sorry this is ridiculous, they literally pick and choose when they actually want to do their job because they have had no problem throwing my packages over the gate in the past! I thought paying $10 extra for PRIORITY mail would change anything but it definitely doesn't. Never choose usps always choose UPS because they make sure your stuff gets to you. I'm tired of all of their inconveniences. One time I just bit the bullet and did pick up my package and my package was ripped open! Which I don't understand since they didn't take it anywhere. All in all never choose USPS, they do not care and pick and choose when they want to actually do their job read more

US Post Office - This is JUST one example of improper handling - Post Offices Near Me - Hesperia, California

. The post office in Hesperia is horrible... Nearly every day our mail is in the neighbor's mailbox... Thank God for our neighbors that give us our mail.. I don't really understand why they cannot put our mail in our mail box. They need to pay attention to the address... last month my granddaughter was to receive a card from her karate studio It never arrived.. and it's only down the street... Is it that hard to do your job read more

Office needs to be closed down. I left a Google review that has my complaint. I was yelled at by a clerk from 40 feet away in front of over 30 people that Because there were 3 other people in line ahead of me she wouldn't be able to process my passport by my appointment time. The post office is also covering up that the passport clerk exposed hundreds of people to , what they call "an illness". They exposed my husband 5 days ago. Now I have a dry cough and fever and body aches with multiple other symptoms you don't need to hear about. I've also lost 2 days of work (I'm a doc) due to the office canceling my previous appointment. This was my second try. I've been called out of the country to do emergency work out of no where so this was last minute and not my lack of planning. So thank you for time wasted, lives endangered and exposing people to covid19. read more

I highly recommend that you not mail anything in the outside drive-thru mailboxes. People are still fishing the mail out to steal it. I've had two letters basic letters with a stamp on it that cannot be tracked because they were mailed in that drive-thru mailbox. One was a thank you card, and the other was a letter read more

People are not the friendliest and did I mention slow?! Our mailbox broken into twice now and they act like they don't give a hoot! So sad!! And answering phones, you serious? Not ever yet.. read more

Bad customer service they don't help rude as well unfortunately not many options in the IE

This the worst post office in the Victor valley. Zero customer service.Zero! Don't expect any help in a timely manner. My wife stood in line yesterday for help that never came. read more

My neighbor's mail is often put in my box along with mine. Now they have marked a package as delivered but they didn't deliver it to me!

I have had good service at the Post Office The clerks/staff, I feel, are under a great deal of pressure. Due to the pandemic more individuals seem to be buying online and it adds to their load not to mention the mail thieves and the extra stress this has caused. I appreciate the staff and my mail lady for doing the job they are doing! read more

I have the laziest mail carrier at times. I have several that deliver my mail but one lady is terrible. She will hand me a package directly and then take the rest of my mail back to the post office and say its non deliverable saying my porch or driveway was blocked which it never is..i have a gate and fence and most packages they sit out side of my gate in my drive way no excuse. But this has happened and you cant call and talk to no one in charge cause they never answer the phone. My mom carried mail for18 years when i was younger and back then the carriers were real people now they are rude and lazy. read more

I don't know what they're doing differently, but I am a huge fan! This place used to be hell on earth and you would have to plan on being there 30 min to an hour. The past 3-4 times I've been here over the past year have been in & out. No lines, and get this... the people who work there have been POLITE AND HELPFUL!!! Love it! Keep it up! read more

Here it is , the Saturday before Mother's Day , got my yellow donation bag sitting by the mailbox ALL day .I put it there before the delivery (I checked my box ) .At 4 PM , the bags that my neighbor and I left , are still there .At 5:20 PM , I got my mail out of my box , the bags are still there . Please DON'T bother leaving them next year !Maybe the postal delivery people need to be told to pick up the bags ? read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Today I was informed they lost a certified letter. I was told the carrier was fired on Friday and there are many items missing. Really? How is a certified letter not accounted for? The package pick up line at the side door is unmarked and takes forever. This place is mismanaged. Private companies could do it better and for less money. Fire all of the workers at Hesperia. read more

This post office location has gone downhill. The outside drive-thru boxes have all been pried to where objects can easily fit inside and retrieve mail. These boxes all need to be replaced. Also, the outside handicapped parking lot sign is just hanging by a screw...safety hazard. The outside looks trashy and inside is bad too. No supply of boxes available for after hours to take. Wasted trip. Whoever takes care of this place needs to step up their cleanliness. read more

I come here often and the service is great! Very helpful people behind the counter and this location has one of those self service kiosks! :) I do see what some of the reviews are saying about the carrier's though. Some of them seem like they're being rushed with the way that they drive and force packages in to mailbox. Don't rush your employees if that's what's happening. :) read more

Yesterday, Saturday Oct 10, the post office said they had a package from Kaiser to be delivered that day. This package had my husband medications in it. No package arrived. This didn't surprise me because all week we received mail every other day and since we received mail on Friday I figured we would not get any. Now because Monday is a holiday we have to wait till Tuesday for delivery. There was heart medication in this package. Mail is one thing but can someone give me a answer why packages cant be delivered as you say they will bw? read more

I started an eBay business 10 months ago. I'm able to do all my shipping labels from home and just drop off and avoid the horrible terrible lines people here hates. I ship 150 to 200 pieces a month. Well, some would go into the outside drop off in the beginning. Then I started having packages never scanned in at all. I had a total of 5 packages like this. I realized someone must be stealing these packages, the drop off containers(added pictures) would over flow and you can grab all you want as there is no lid and a 6" opening to get all you want, it's Christmas, thanks USPS for the giving. I went inside to report, they told me,"yes we know, we also found rocks with tape inside the containers". WOW, remember they have no signs, no camera, the public should know the risk. I reported on USPS website. Got a call two months later from post master. She said I was lying. No problems of theft at site and I was lying an employee would tell me that. I've added pictures to show the problem. Any business with over 200 one star review, yelp and google, would be out of business, but with it govt they just get away with murder and can raise prices. I truly don't understand how they can treat their customers the way they do and get away with it. read more

I'm not sure who these so called carriers are but I am constantly losing merchandise I ordered when it says delivered it's never there !!! Are they personally keeping it ? And if they keep putting in another person's mailbox why aren't those people returning it to me ?? I wish the would get competent people who know what they're doing to deliver my mail , this is getting beyond ridiculous!!!!!!! read more

My mailcarrier keeps delivering mail and packages to me that belong to another person 2 blocks away. We have different addresses but same apartment number. I usually get in my car and deliver these in person but, a package was recently delivered that was to big to put in the outgoing mail and being ill, I couldn't deliver it. You can't EVER get someone at the Hesperia P.O. to answer the phone so I called the main post office 800 # and filed a complaint. Asked to have this matter resolved and the pkg picked up and delivered to the right address. That was 5 days ago and I still have the box. So, I called the 800 # again to check the status and all I got was an automated voice saying the matter was resolved. LIKE HELL IT WAS. : ( Waited 45 min. to talk to another agent who re-opened the case with a new claim number. Good grief.......what in the living hell has happened to the United States Postal service? They must be hiring illegal aliens, Democrats or both. Grrrrrrrrr read more

This place doesn't even deserve this one star but I had no other choice. No matter what time you come the lines are always ridiculously long. Be ready to be here at least 40 minutes since they take forever to help customers. I hate coming to this place read more

There is absolutely no accountability at this post office, the workers and supervisors really don't care when your packages go missing before Christmas. Also possibly mail tampering, I'd avoid using this post office completely if you value your mailed goods read more

Horrible service !!!! Our mail box was ran over by some idiot lady on Nantucket st we are going on a month that they do not come out and fix it and then we need to come to this main post office and wait in line for 45 mins and still get crappy ass attitude from the workers !!! Misdelivered my $600 packages and kept getting brushed off even by some supervisors. If I could choose UPS I would.

I been shipping parts for nearly 2 years. Today i went in to use this location and had a terrible experience. Im shipping using a large priority box. I wait in line for about half an hour. When i get up to the counter, this old lady gives me attitude and tells me the box isnt taped. I said i know that its priority. And she says we dont tape boxes here. We provide free boxes but we dont provide tape. We are not a free mailing service. She then told me to go down more and buy a roll of tape. I told her every other location always uses priority tape for these boxes and she said no. That i had to use my own tape. Wtf. Then i call to complain and they dont answer. Hell yea im pissed how she gonna give me attitude over a service they are suppose to provide. Ended up going to another location and they did it while i was in line waiting. Taped my box with red priority tape. No issues. read more

On Monday, July 3rd, the older postman threw a box over my elderly mother's chain link fence instead of opening the unlocked gate and sliding the box inside of the yard like a professional employee should have done. My mother has no dogs or pets. Anyone in the postman's line of work should know you can shake the gate and see if a dog responds. So the ice maker she ordered may not work properly after being thrown over a 5' chain link fence. She'll give it a week and see it functions as it should. With so many negative posts about the ridiculous service and rude employees I don't understand why this isn't noticed by regional postal supervisors or do they not give a damn about customer service either. Everyone is right about this site not answering their telephones. I'm forwarding this post to the US Postal site as well as to the media. I'm setting up a camera system for my mother so we can post it on social media when they disregard a customer's property/package again,...and they will. Awful. read more

Apparently they don't understand what it means to pick up packages when you have scheduled package pick up. Our new carrier has no regard to his actions and lack of effort he puts into his job. read more

We had a family event on Sunday. Monday morning we still had the car outside by the mail box the mail man told my wife to move the car or we will not get the mail. she did but what kind of lazy person cant get out and take 3 steps to drop of the mail.. they should be thankful they have a good job. If they cant take 3 steps to drop off mail give up your job! ill happily take it.. I have a lot of respect for mail carriers as my sister is one. I'm almost positive that they took all of the most incompetent people in hesperia and put them all in one post office. My friends record was broken I'm half in order to fit in the mailbox. My $300 package was sent back to the seller for no good reason and once I called( 4 times ) I still haven't recover any word on why my package was sent back. I now have to wait for it to be sent half way across the country and then back to me. If I could a worse rating I would. read more

Of all the places I have lived this post office is the absolute worst! I have never seen regular people in regular cars delivering the mail before and that would be fine if it could be done right but apparently not.I have had quite a few issues in the few years I have lived up here but recently it's been really bad the first major issue was the carrier did not come one Saturday in December leaving the mail to sit until Monday well the mail got broken into and my moms Christmas card with her gift card inside that should have got picked up got stolen and the card was left torn open on the ground. A person who lives in the neighborhood was getting their mail saw the card in the dirt with other people's mail and came to let me know and bring me the open and ripped card with the gift card missing on Sunday. Then these last 2 weeks I got a notice that said Notice Left (No Secure Location Available) on one of my packages that is really code for carrier forgot the package. They delivered everything else that day in the city issued neighborhood locked cluster mailbox unit that's not secure enough for you? and you can come to my door. I got that message later in the day after the other mail was delivered obviously they forgot that one I had to reschedule it. Today I waited all day for a priority package then got a notice after all other mail was delivered that the package was being held at the post office at customers request hell no it wasn't! If you have ever been to that disgusting post office you would know nobody goes willingly once a man pulled down his mask to sneeze all over everyone in line! that is the whole point of wearing the mask you stupid ass! to keep your fluids to yourself. Bunch of idiots and nasty people there and not just the customers either so hell no nobody told you to hold anything yet another lie due to incompetence. Why can't they just say package is delayed and running late and is being rescheduled? what's with all the stupid lies? They shouldn't be able to lie like that it's bad enough you don't get your packages then they put the blame on you too and I am sure that can cause problems if you ever need to file a claim with sellers and Pay Pal for things you didn't get and it looks like it was your fault. Calling them you either get no answer or someone extremely rude like it's your fault, excuses and how dare you want your packages. Something really needs to be done about this place. read more

Who ever delivers the mail .. sucks at there job. My apartment number is 11.. and they gave me apartment number 12's mail. How can you confuse that!!! No one ever answered the phone. I spent all morning trying to speak with someone. Terrible. Negative stars.

I would give a negative rating if it is an option. Tried to call but always got a automatic hang ups. Called the 1-800 usps number and was getting automatic recordings for over ONE hour and NO ONE picked up so much about the 20-30min waiting like they stated. Had some many expected deliveries that were never delivered. Sad to say but I begin to question whether usps is even reliable anymore. read more

So once again the federal government and their federal employees show us that customer service is not their top priority. Some the employees are amazing and do their jobs well but then there are of course the select few which take their sweet time along with having an irritated attitude of having to actually do their job. Just another sign of people hating their jobs and clearly lack in Their customer service skills. Worst post office ever. They work skeletal staff in order to save money. I wonder if the manager gets a perk for working understaffed and under budget? Speaking of the manager what an asshole he is. He's condescending and rude and belligerent. When you complain about him having only two people he makes nothing but excuses and treats you like you're less than a citizen. I would avoid this post office at all costs. And I will never come back here again. I'm also going to report him to the Postmaster General because he is an absolute rude nasty asshole who apparently can't run his branch of the post office very well. They need to get someone in there that knows what they're doing and can compensate for the influx of increased holiday mail and packages being sent. I waited an hour in line while two people work the counter, taking Merchants long businesses multiple packages, no help at all from the upper management. He just stood there looking like he was Superior. Do yourself a favor and go to a different post office you'll be much happier trust me. read more
