Need better quality of greetings when calling in for info. Felt like I was bothering them !

Yesterday my my husband and I received a package by mistake. This morning 7/28/25, he took it to Mail Max to send it off to the correct person and they charged him almost 100 dollars!! The box weighed 5 lbs when we received it and we didn't open it. They said it weighed 18 lbs. LIARS!! I wish I would of gone with him because they obviously took advantage of a senior! Do not go here. The gal at the counter is rude to older adults. She treats them disrespectful and talks over them . She doesn't belong in retail . Hope the owners -Angel & Connie Gonzales explain to her how to treat older customers. Or fire her and hire someone who loves seniors. In the mean time . You can go to postal annex. This is my go-to UPS drop off location whenever I have a Amazon return. The staff is usually friendly and quick on their service. Luckily, there aren't a line of people whenever I'm there. I enter the center and I'm out within two minutes no later. I give them the package, they scan the bar code, and they hand me a receipt. I always ask for a receipt for tracking purposes. I've recently found out that you can now do Amazon returns through Kohl's and you don't even have to package your return items. They'll do it for you. Wow... now that's service. You can save on time, effort, and trying to find something to put your items in and not waste packing tape. I will definitely give Kohl's a try next time. Anyway, if you prefer to package your own returns, then do give this Postal Center a try when you're in the High Desert area. read more

Very nice customer service and the owner there very sweet ..... they are a little more than the post office but if you wanna wait in line at the post office for 30 minutes more then go ahead .... my time is more valuable than waiting for almost a hour to ship something... so I rather go here ... Very disappointed that I chose to go here to get my DOJ done. Although the lady that helped me was amiable and their customer service is not half bad. They screwed up on my fingerprints and sent them out to a different agency. I have been waiting to be cleared for a job position since February. It took the agency more than two months to figure out what happened, and I had to get the DOJ done again. read more

Do not come here if you need a Live Scan done. The lady that was helping us took every other person that came in for all other services. We were here for over an hour just to get or fingerprints done! I will not be back here or referring my friends here. read more

Do not go to this place. What a rip off. My nephew went to mail two packages for me, one to Los Angeles and one to OH. Each package was 2 pounds. One was a pair of pants and the other a tablet case. They charged him $44. There was no reason for this. They took advantage of him. read more

Came in no one was in the front. There was laughing in the back room which I waited to see if anyone was going to attend me. I had to yell "excuse me" twice for someone to come out. Older lady came out with no mask and didn't even say sorry about the wait or anything. Customer service bad. I just had to drop off some packages. But won't be coming back. What a joke. read more

They are very friendly and NOT expensive if you compare them to thier competition . They have given money saving advice even when it involves not buying from them- I have a small ebay businees and to the nay sayers that talk about a few bucks higher , thats because they don't use postal stores - They all charge a premium for use of thier equipment - go to the post office and ask to send a fax - ask them to make a copy for you -- better yet go to a UPS corprate store(on main) and prepare to have your jaw hit the floor as you read their pricing .. The prices are way to high tried to use them for convenience but won't do it again. They 1.75 for each page faxed . Oak Hills postal only 1.75 first page .75 after that and there postage is way higher. Don't know why they have to be so much read more

Came in here to ship some eBay items. When I walked in he was helping another customer. I waited about 4 minutes before he called us to a register while he was on the phone helping the other customer. He got one of my packages and measured and input everything into his system. I was shipping a pair of high heels. He was charging 17 dollars to ship. I thought it was a bit overpriced so I left to the USPS. Huge difference, I ended up paying $10.55. I think if they had better prices and more staffing it'd be okay. read more

I only shipped here for years, although my shipping needs were infrequent i though there prices were reasonable and they were always very helpful. A week ago i shipped a package (roughly shoebox sized and 10lbs). They package needed to travel about 75 miles and they charged me roughly $25 which seemed high to me bit i really needed this package shipped asap. Yesterday i took a large package to ship to MN but under 10 lbs in and was told the least expensive option was UPS slowest shipping at $130!!!!! I left and took the package to the post office and it was $49 at the cheapest and for $2 more i got 2 day shipping and insurance. I dont know what happened to this place that they cant even operate as efficient as an obsolete government agency but use at your own risk. read more

I've been doing business here for 6 years. This is one of the most helpful mail centers I have ever done business with. The staff is friendly, kind, and helpful, always looking for the best and lowest cost way to ship a package and they offer suggestions for keeping costs down. Their prices are competitive with the local competition but their service can't be beat. read more

I sent my son to have a package shipped because the postal computers were having errors and outages. Never again, I ship the same items out daily, weekly and have for the past 3 years. I pay $2.18 at the post office. When my son came home I looked at the receipt they had charged him 12.72!!!!!!! That is just taking advantage of consumers. I took the receipt to the USPS the next day, they verified the weights and measurements and yep they ripped us off. I made a complaint to the Post Master General and found out they have several complaints that are being investigated. When I did call to speak with the owner of Mail Max both times the ladies said they were on vacation. Probably on our money!!Never again. read more

Went to send a package via UPS, the woman that entered my info rang up a shipping cost of about $45 to ship to Middletown,Ohio, I asked several times if there were other options that were cheaper and she insisted that $45 was the cheapest. I have shipped similar packages across similar distances and have an idea of what shipping cost should be, needless to say, I walked out with my package in hand. Now I don't know if this woman didn't fully understood how to do her job or if she just tried to take advantage of an unwitting customer, long story short, as soon as I got home I went to the UPS website, registered, entered my info, printed shipping label for $35 and shipped it off at ___. My advise; if you're going to use this business for shipping via FedX, UPS or USPS do your self a favor and print out a shipping label via their respective websites ahead of time and use this business as a last resort at your own risk! read more
