I was very concerned because my packages were delivered to the wrong address. Luckily I have an honest neighbor who returned my packages to me. Mathew, I am assuming he is the supervisor from the Hesperia Post Office called me to discuss my concern. He was quick in calling me and resolved my concern in a timely matter. Thanks Mathew and keep up the good work. read more

Since I've moved to the area 3 years ago I've had nothing but trouble and constant issues with deliveries from this office. I have an amazon prime account and have things delivered regularly but this post office has lost at least 4 packages of mine. Delivered to wrong addresses twice this month and completely lost 3 packages. Today they delivered my package to my neighbor. This is just what I can remember at the top of my head. At least 1 in every 5 of my packages seem to have some type of issue with delivery! If I had the choice of who could deliver my packages I'd stop using them completely. I've already made a few complaints to the post office but nothing ever seems to come of it. They've never fixed anything or done anything to ensure me that they even bother to care. They need better drivers to stay on top handling deliveries for sure. I'm tired of calling and waiting on the phone for hours for them to do something dumb again the next week. read more

Three months ago I filled out a change of address form for a business. I even purchased a P.O. Box to facilitate the move. Today after numerous problems, they tell me that I am wasting my time filling out a change of address form as the only will accept and change the information on line. The cost of $1.05 now (why it went up 5 cents when they are doing absolutely nothing is beyond me). Why waste the tax payers money printed all that crap that is in advertising, when you have no intentions of completing the address change? Oh, I forgot they are collecting the advertising money and doing nothing for it. I already changed my address on the credit cards so you know what a good time I am having. Frankly the American people are treated like crap. read more

Called but call will not go through. Post man is leaving wrong mail offen

If I could give them no stars I would. I don't even know where to start...the time I had to drive here for 3 months while they decided if they were going to fix our rural route mailboxes...which is an hour round trip? Or maybe the numerous times I've brought them my package slips but they have told me my package isn't there? The countless times they change which window you line up at to pick up your package and refuse to help you at a normal window even if you need to buy stamps as well? I've tried the normal complaining - trying to talk to a manager or branch supervisor, no one ever calls back, complaining to the post master general in written form as well as by phone. No one cares and that's why I will never send a package usps. I hope they go out of business like they are constantly saying they are going to, please do us all a favor and close this branch or hire people that actually care. read more

Poor customer service. In addition the mail man/woman. Continues to place other people's mail in my box even after I constantly submit emails to USPS notifying them of incorrect mail deliveries. Packages are not delivered correctly if at all. In a two month period five packages were listed as "delivered left in mailbox/drop box" yet no packages were to be found. At this point it's not a coincidence. The hell with USPS I'll pay extra and go with FedEx or UPS because so far I've had no issues with them. Oddly enough I can have packages delivered to my door step and sit there for a WEEK and be undisturbed; however packages that are to be hand delivered into a MAILBOX don't seem to make it.... read more

I shipped some kids mask from Amazon & it showed delivered on Aug 17th but I did not receive item in mailbox, so I got the tracking number & went to USPS tracking & it showed that the package was refused on Aug 21th. The package was small enough to fit in the mailbox & did not require a signature. No mail was delivered on Aug 21. I contacted the Hesperia location on Olive St, the person I spoke with asked if I had the tracking number & then put me on hold without getting the tracking number. I waited for about 10 minutes, hung up & called back because they were about to close. The same person answered the phone & give him the tracking number. Told him what happen & he had package re-delivered. We finally received it on Aug 25. I was very disappointed. I had another package shipped thru same location & this time I never received package, it showed delivered on 09/02/20. I spoke with Manager Anna & she suggested that someone may have stolen package from mail box & for me to contact Amazon. I will never have anything go thru USPS in Hesperia again.. read more

When I drive all the way over to pick up my mail I ask when it is going to be fixed, They say the new mail boxes are here but cannot install them until the post master gives approval to install it.Well I guess he does not care about the elderly in Hesperia that cant drive and receive there mail . It is hard to believe that almost 2 months later they still cant give a date. How sad that this is our wonderful postal service. read more

I am a female senior citizen and I'm still horrified by the experience I had a week ago at this USPO, exactly on Sat. Dec. 10 2016, in afternoon, my transition was interrupted, I was yelled at and ordered to leave the post office otherwise "will be escorted out" by a male SUPERVISOR, as he identified himself. I was mailing out two packages in my own boxes and two midsize envelops to friends for Christmas. I needed to weight in order to pay proper postage. 15 min before the door was closed I stood in line which already outside of the door. After 20 min, it was my term, I was helped by a female clerk, despite the long line, she was unpressed, she even detected the two envelops might have incorrect zip codes, I looked up my phone address book, and corrected one while attempting to verify the other one. She also told me that if go with Priority Mail box, I could save several dollars to the package to Delaware. "Of course!" I was gladly took her advice, and then I started changing the box, removing the stuff from my own box into a Priority Mail box, just at that time, the male supervisor came and yelled at me to move to side, I explained to him that we were almost done, because I took advice from the clerk, who offered me with a better option, but it might take a few more seconds, "are you discourage her to provide a better customer service? " due to his loud and unfriendly attitude, I asked his name, he seemed to be irritated. Understood that the office needed to close. I was trying to find some common ground by saying " You might be stressed up". His response was" I'm not stressed up. Like my last name, I smile all day long!" Apparently in a sarcastic tune and loud tune. Meanwhile, I had already I stepped aside packing the Priority Box. During the exchange of words, I also said " I am glad that I have other choices other USPO, I'm not coming back any more. " He said with fake "smile" on his face: " That is totally fine!" and louder. At last, when I was responding to the female clerk, the man went ballistic "I want you to leave NOW, or I'm going to escort you out. " Under his intimidation, fear of his temperament to escalate the conflict to another level, I had no choice but stop my unfinished transition and left the office. I paid one envelope and one package that were already in the system, and took the other two to a local UPS station and paid additional $11. And under the stress the other envelope sent out with suspicious zip code never got corrected and seemed to be forever lost, according to a later conversation with the addressee. One thing turned out to be good is that this "smile" guy altered my original decision to open a P.O. Box at this location. Days later, I happily opened one, privately owned, some where else. I bid that man must have a very confident job security with enviable federal pension or retirement to abuse a private citizens for no reason and no consequence. read more

The only reason I give the post office two stars is because of the really nice older Asian man, and the really nice older Caucasian lady who helped me; Otherwise, I was very displeased with my visit. When I walked in and stood in line for 10 minutes, an older Hispanic lady with red hair asks me what I need. When I told her I was sending my letter certified, she rudely tells me to step out of line and get the stickers ready. When I got back in line (at the very end), she looks me dead in my eyes and keeps working. Another girl asks if she could have her place back in line and the woman tells her to ask the person she was behind to identify her and then she gets back in her place. As for me, I'm stuck at the back of the line waiting. That woman knew good and well that I was at the front of the line when she approached me earlier, yet she stood by as I got back in line at the very end and said nothing. We all have bad days, but there is no excuse for being rude. If you don't like your job, find another one! read more

I've tried calling here several times and not once has someone answered the phone, despite letting it ring for like 4 or 5 minutes.

The post office delivery drivers are keeping packages and they are just putting in their system that the packages have arrived. I have the same problem and have caught them on CAMERA that they don't deliver the package from eBay. I've made complaints to the inspection manager from the hesperia post office which she didn't solve anything, supposedly she spoke with the mail man and he claimed that he remembered leaving that package in my mail box which seems extremely odd his going to remember when he has 100's of mail to deliver. It's ridiculous that they are not doing nothing about it. read more

I tracked a small package that was shipped to me and found that the package was supposedly delivered to my mail box on Saturday 6/25/16 at 12:36 PM. I never received any mail on Saturday. I printed a copy of the tracking and went to the Hesperia post office today, 6/27/16 to advise them I did not receive the package. I went shortly after 1:00 PM and a young man at the counter told me the supervisor would be with me shortly. After waiting about 12 or 15 min the supervisor finally came and I explained why I was there and that even though the tracking showed my package had been delivered to my mail box I had not received any mail in my box on Saturday at all. She ask me to wait and left the room. After several min and I do mean several, the supervisor came back and could not even remember which customer she was helping, she finally advised me she was attempting to contact the mail carrier but she had not returned her call. She them ask for my phone number and name and advised she would call me as soon as she spoke with the mail carrier. So I left the post office after nearly an hour and still did not know what happened to my package. And, no surprise, it's now almost 6:00 PM and I have not received a call regarding the status of my package. read more

This is a truly poor delivery service. At first I thought that all the negative reviews and accusations of package theft was just angry people. Happy people dont leave reviews right. But now I believe it after experiencing it myself. They scan and document whatever they like without actually doing the job. According to staff the post master has no set hours and they never know when he will be in. Unfortunately this is reflected in the frequent falsifying of tracking and "missing" or stolen packages. Office staff are rude and unhelpful. Only option I have is to file a police report( stealing mail is a serious crime). Contact the merchant so they can file for rempusment and wait for my own reimbursement. I'd be inclined to think someone stole it out of the mail box if this was not a frequent issues with mail resurfacing after being told it was delivered and it was not. If it ever comes to a vote to make the USPS a private sector delivery system and not a government funded one I'll be voting for it. I'll be filing a complaint with the USPS and making a case with them as well. Unfortunately it's such a frequent issues, I'll know be checking with any companys I order from and requesting a different delivery service at least while in the area. read more
