My supplier shipped 90 individual packages via UPS Ground. Due to the complexity of the shipment, there were lots of issues such as 52 missing packages, etc. Dee Dee from the Customer Counter was great, she helped research the missing packages and it turned out that my supplier never actually sent them to UPS yet refused to take responsibility. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. My husband's medication arrived at this facility on 7/16/26. There is no number to call to speak to a customer service rep, instead I got connected from another store to a representative that was outside of the county that I could barely understand. This medication is vital for his recovery from his bone marrow transplant and his doctor can't send another prescription out until UPS deems it as lost!!!! The customer service rep put blame on the shipper yet we received notification that it arrived at the Cerritos UPS facility.... You can't get to a person except their call center in India. My package is at the UPS center, tracked as "delayed" but no new delivery date and no way to talk to anyone who can actually make anything happen. The "support" IN INDIA says you just have to wait patiently until they (yawn) let you know when they might (yawn) get around to sending it out. Poor service, even worse customer service. read more

My parents kept missing the UPS delivery that required a signature, so I just went online to pay the $7.99 hold at a UPS Access Point. They're supposed to be open from 2-6 pm Mondays to Fridays. My mom arrived on a Wednesday at 4 pm- gate closed. I came by after work around 5 pm- gate was still closed. I walked over to a security guard and he stated that they've BEEN CLOSED due to Covid for several days now & not sure when they'll reopen. So... there's no one to cover?! I don't believe that. This the WORSTTTTT customer service ever. I missed my package the first time, I logged into UPS and paid a fee to have it shipped to a UPS location (near my house), turns out they shipped it to another city where there is a UPS warehouse. I called UPS and they told me to go to the UPS warehouse, I showed up and the person at the front typed my Tracking number and IMMEDIATELY told me my package is lost . And I said , "what, what do I do" and told me to file a claim. That UPS employee then put me on the phone with a "manager" and the manager went on to tell me that the UPS 1800 number is from another place and they don't know what they're talking about. And they told me that packages get lost at the warehouse all the time. And continued by explaining on their flaws which is why my package is lost. It's so frustrating showing up and immediately being told my package is lost and that small packages get lost all the time. Then being handed a phone to talk to a "manager" . I ordered a gift for Christmas, the package was dropped off at a random persons house, I got the company to reship their product and it got delivered to a different address that isn't my house. Two random houses not even on my block. Whoever the driver is must be under the influence because I've never had this happen before. Both packages came from this Cerritos UPS. UPS website is very poor, not providing daily updated pickup, tracking, and delivery information. On 5-24-25, Amazon created a UPS Amazon-product-return pickup for me. Amazon gave me a UPS tracking number for this pickup, and Amazon said the package would be picked up 5-26-25 by UPS . It was not. On 5-27-25, when I tried to get the correct pickup time on UPS website, it had no information. When I phoned UPS, I had to call 3 different people, 3 different times, to try to get pickup information. I was connected first to 2 different people in India. Next I was was connected to a person in Egypt. (1) All three people spoke broken English and I could not undertand them, so they had to keep repeating, very slowly. Each phone call took about 45 minutes as a result. (2) All three people contradicted each other about when my package would be picked up. One said it would be picked up Monday, one said Tuesday, and one said Wednesday. (3) All three people gave me different pickup information. One gave me a 10-hour pickup window, during which I had to be home. A second said I would receive a pickup time by email, but admitted UPS did not have my email. This place is horrible I have been here a few times over the years and just to seem to get worst each year. So there is 25 people in front of me and during the first hour I only saw 3 people leave. So I went to check there is only 1 person working and it takes like 20 minutes per person. Don't drop off here and if you do t get your package send it back and have them reship your package. I ordered a product costing $415 and they delivered my package to the wrong address, I call them and they say they will go and try and retrieve the package for me, I wait all day for a call back to not get one, I call back and they basically tell me it's not their problem and it would be on the shipper.. also saying since it was a written label the shipper probably wrote it not legible.. I drove 2 hours in traffic to go to the place it got delivered after getting off work and was able to receive my package without any issues from the resident.. what do you know, the package had MY address on it written clear as day a toddler would've been able to read it, so it indeed was ups problem bc it was a mess up on their end.. very poor customer service and accountability smh read more

I think UPS has Standards that they expect from their Drivers not anymore. In the last year the delivery driver who delivers from this hub to the North Downey area doesn't give a Rats A#@% about the customers, he throws fragile packages over the fence. If it's to heavy, he just won't delivery the box and leave you a barely filled out slip with little or no information where to pick up your package, so you spen an hr. This by far is the nicest UPS I've ever been to. My husband and I were returning a rug and the lady made sure our rug was nicely packaged. Usually when I go to other UPS stores, other people are so stingy with their tape and strict on lending packaging supplies. I was so happy with their service and how nice everyone was. While driving out, I also notice another UPS guy helping an older lady access the lockers outside. This is not the nicest location of UPS but it gets the job done. I come here frequently due to it being the closest location from my house and the service is decent. There is ample parking and there is always a security guard by the entrance. The lines to pick an item up or drop off for mailing can be quite long but the workers tend to churn through the lines at a reasonable amount of time. Within a two week time frame two of my separate packages were marked as delivered and signed for by the driver without him/her actually delivering them. I have a Ring doorbell camera that starts recording when motion is detected, and on both instances a UPS driver never came to my residence. After calling to inquire about the first package, an iPhone I got my father for Father's Day, it turned out the driver still had my package. Like what? Why would they scan, sign for, and mark my package as delivered and still have it in their possession? Makes no sense to me other than the obvious possibility of theft. It's hard enough to prove your package was never delivered as it is, but how am I supposed to provide evidence of your driver never showing up? A recording that captures nothing? Okay, I can do that if I have to. After a supervisor from this center in Cerritos called me and assured me I would receive my package. I said okay, where is it? Apparently they called the driver and he still had it. I could not believe this, even the supervisor was at a loss for words and had no explanation as to why it was marked as delivered and signed for by him, the driver. Shortly after our conversation, my package was on my doorstep. A $600+ phone just left on my porch without as much as a knock on the door or ring of the bell. This package required a signature by me, and me only. Fuming, I didn't even bother to call back and complain about how the driver just left the package and took off. I was just relieved my dad would get his gift on time. Not even two weeks later, I order something from Best Buy and it defaults to UPS shipping. Ah, here we go again. It didn't show who was shipping my item until I got the confirmation email, I was skeptical about go through with the delivery and thought about canceling my order and setting it up for pick up, but ironically it would've taken 10 days longer. So I wait. To my not so surprise, the day my package is scheduled to be delivered, it is once again scanned and signed for by the driver. Unbelievable. No notification from my Ring doorbell only the push notification saying it was delivered. Ridiculous. No UPS truck or driver in sight, mind you i was already smoking a cigarette on my porch so I basically caught them doing the same thing again. Insane. Shipment details literally state the driver signed for it and released it. But, to who? They were never on our street. UPS drivers are literally stealing packages with visible packaging. My Apple product came with a visible logo, so did the Best Buy packaging. There is no excuse for drivers to be signing for packages on behalf of recipients. It's a major inconvenience to have to go through the claim process and prove your package was never delivered as opposed to stolen. I will go out of my way to never use UPS as a shipping service and will cancel any future orders with any company if they are shipping it through UPS. I will also be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau so they can investigate the entire company. From customer service to the drivers on the frontlines, I have nothing good to say about this company. Stay away if you want your packages to arrive to their destination. read more

It arrived here at 5am and was "out for delivery" by 6:30 am....then it was marked as "out for delivery" at 11 am...but nothing came. Arrived at location on Monday 1/03 at 3pm and the location says "Temporarily Closed". Lots of customers waiting around with no service. I called the UPS customer service line and they were absolutely useless. Told me to "wait for another 30-40 minutes", instead of looking into what was actually going on. Ended up waiting with no result. Came back the following day and same thing...location was "Temporarily Closed". Wasted 3 hours of my time. I drove 20 minutes to this location again for the 4th day in a row, and when I arrived an associate named Destiny was handing packages to 2 customers. When I walked up to the gate she quickly locked it and said "sorry we are short staffed" and walked away without attempting to help me. 1 star is about three too many for this facility. Their drivers are pathetically unprofessional, failing to make any attempt at delivery before rerouting the packages to an Access Point that they didn't even bother to leave a door tag for. It is not the first time for this driver to do this. He has done it multiple times to my building in the past. I'm on oxygen and when I got the email that my delivery was delayed, while I was here waiting for him to come, so I ran the block and a half to the truck to find out what happened, and out of breath, struggling to breathe and find out, he then became aggressive and threatening to "fuck me up" because I wasn't "respecting" him-- how about respecting the customer who he screwed over by not attmepting the delivery before rerouting the package, as evidenced by the fact he didn't even leave a door tag. So I had the 14 packages I was waiting for over the next week returned to sender as I won't accept any UPS packages any longer while this "person" is a driver for my route. read more

It can hectic and they have a small window. however, you must call UPS and tell them the reason why your package is vital to you. The more important, the more harder the men in brown work for you. Believe me, it's true. UPS isn't the typical USPS worker. Despite the warehouse antics, these folks are serious. I don't know why soo many people have had horrible experiences with UPS but I would say that mine went off quite smoothly. I wasn't home for a few days when I just reached Los Angeles from my trip. After I saw the notice of a package and failed attempts I called the number that was given on the paper. They gave me the address and said that I would just need to pick it up from the UPS center and not to forget to bring your ID so they know it's you. Found it through waze and got here in a jiffy, there was no wait at all and the person that helped me was super nice and happy. He knew it was an iPhone package and asked me what color I had gotten. Whatever you do, don't you use the locker Access Pick Up location to divert your package for pickup here. I paid extra for this service and waited on hold for literally 25 minutes before they could open the locker for me. My cell phone number they sent the notification to saying that my package was ready didn't work to open the locker. The barcode they sent to my phone and email didn't work to open the locker. My government issued Real ID with the address of the package didn't work to open the locker. Furthermore, THE EMPLOYEES INSIDE CAN'T WALK 30 YARDS AND JUST OPEN IT UP FOR YOU AFTER CHECKING YOUR ID. What a terrible service. The employees here are always cool, just a terrible, terrible corporate roll out of the access point locker BS. read more
