Be careful what items you place in your shipping box when getting help from this location's UPS staff. There is a thief employed at this location and the manager is defending that person. This will sound severe, yet it's true. When the box was sent to me that included a limited edition Steamdeck which was more than $700 along with its charger and case, it was never found in the box when received. A staff helped pack the box who got a look at the items in it, which then seems to have stolen it behind the scenes before shipping it out. At this point, I wouldn't put it past the manager as well, as she was trying her best to sweep the situation under the rug by spewing store policies and being completely unhelpful. Be careful of the staff members in this location, including the manager. If you're going to pack a box with an expensive device, or any item for that matter, just seal it yourself so the thief/thieves won't get an idea what's in it. read more

I came in with a few basic questions about shipping a package, as I am not very familiar with the process. Unfortunately, the employee who assisted me was extremely rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. I heard that the UPS my m by my house was packing and shipping fragile items. I brought an heirloom lamp while visiting my parents for shipment. Was quoted over $700 just for the base of the lamp before packing. The store didn't even have packing peanuts. Using the same measurements and weight, ups.com said it was under $125. I verified this with other carriers, all in the same ballpark. Staff was nice, probably great for a small drop-off if you have the label. Maybe they didn't set the price, but it was hard to not feel taken advantage of. read more

I found this UPS Store when I needed to have things printed out. My home printer was malfunctioning yet again today so I headed out to this location. Service here has always been very friendly, helpful, and efficient. To print out my document the process is simple - they ask you to email the file to their email address. There is a $2 print minimum, so for 2 color pages printed the total was something like $2.21. The quality of the printouts were perfect. I was in and out in record time. Remember to use the Yelp check in offer if you're printing more than $2. For my order the check in deal wasn't applicable because it was only 2 pages. I stop by here several times a week because of my Mercari sales. The staff here is amazingly friendly and deserve ten stars in customer service. All aspects of service here are amazing. Friendliness, shipping, customer service, cleanliness and overall professionalism is something that's hard to come by. They have everything you need for all your shipping needs. Hey folks, be careful when you go into this UPS location to use the black and white copier, make sure you ask for your receipt and carefully look at your receipt because the male cashiers are notorious for overcharging or incorrectly charging you for using the color copier instead, also they will charge you higher per page. It's happened to me 3 times in the past 12 months and when I catch the overcharge they always act as if they are deaf, dumb and blind without ever apologizing for the overcharge, nor does the owner apologize for it, so now I am thinking they are intentionally overcharging because most customers aren't paying attention. So this is a Warning to All Customers...this place has likely been RIPPING YOU OFF because you haven't been paying attention to your receipt. read more

This location is located in a small plaza right off the 605, just in between Cerritos and Lakewood. My brother had dropped off his Amazon return & the process was super quick and easy. Great customer service too! The employee that helped us out was very friendly! After dropping off the boxes, I looked around for a bit & she offered me some help with a shipping box that I was looking for. Didn't even need to ask her! Shipping with a smile! I sold a 15 gal pitangatuba tree to a buyer in New Orleans, and came to this particular UPS Store for it's proximity. I bought a box from Lowe's and wanted a price quote for shipping. After weighing, I had the shock of seeing the shipping cost to be around $90+. Here's where the manager/owner(I assume) of the UPS Store worked his magic. He offered to re-package my tree using 2 smaller boxes and creative use of packaging tape. After some tight shimmying of my pitangatuba tree into the boxes, the cost of shipping was cut down to almost half. Now that's savings, man! As you can see, service was great. With the helpful assistance of the manager/owner, I saved a lot of money. Now I have extra bucks in my wallet for greasy junk food and/or gardening supplies. Winning! Parking is in a private lot, and can be hard to come by. The UPS Store is conveniently located adjacent to the 605 freeway, next to 7-Eleven. Not having the most expertise in packaging & shipping, utilizing mainly USPS Flat Rate Priority Mail for the convenience, for occasions where I ship oversized items, I wouldn't hesitate to patronize this UPS Store. The friendly & helpful aid I received in shipping my package has made this guy a fan. Highly recommend! read more

This place lost two customers over a few cents, literally. My husband and I have been coming here loyally for a year and the individual who I presume to be the owner (grey hair, speaks to his employees very rudely and in a condescending manner) nickel and dimed the hell out of me. His computer was set to print at 8.5x 14 which is NOT the standard size to print. An employee told me that I wouldn't have to pay for the TWO sheets of paper because it was the store's fault. Please tell me why when I went to pay the owner (?) decides he's going to ring me up and laugh in my face saying it's not his fault. This dude's a piece of work and if you're that lame to argue over pennies then I feel bad for you Update: Now he's accusing me of writing 3 reviews in case you weren't aware you can verify active accounts just by looking at their history of reviews so sorry buddy, wasn't just me And yes, you did laugh in my face, but way to do damage control. Oh, and if your employees acknowledge that the store should eat the forty cent costs then I'd think that same message should be sent across the board. Not only that but are you so cheap you couldn't just pay the $0.40 and let the customer know that your guys' crap isn't set on a normal default to print so that next time this doesn't happen? I've tried giving this store many chances to win me over as a customer but apparently they cater to their own people only. It appears this is a business owned and ran by a father and son. The son although not super friendly is always very helpful. Dad on the other hand is neither. I watch the dad with certain customers and he is never friendly, short answers and walks away from you without a thank you or goodbye. With other customers he is not super friendly but helpful. I usually don't care or expect great customer service from a UPS store, however I came here to drop off packages pretty frequently and started to ask myself why I come to this location after seeing what I saw. What did it for me was when's dad threw the receipt on the counter and walked away from when I had more questions. I had to ask him to come back and then just said forget it. Dad we your customers are the reason you are in business. Don't forget that! As painful as it is for you be kind and thankful or if you are so miserable retire and hand the business over to your son. For an item I needed to return to Amazon, they took the trouble to print a label for me that couldn't be scanned by phone. They then corrected an address for an item I was shipping out. Finally, I was informed they accepted items for USPS, so I was able to get that taken care of.
