    It's in the mail ! Let's celebrate!
    Susan R.

"It's 14 degrees outside! Don't ask your mail man if they are cold? They could go postal!" They deliver in the wind, rain, sleet, snow and heat. Through all the days the one thing you can depend on is the mail person bringing you that special package. These days the lines aren't as long as they used to be because of the newest technology that is available to the general public. If you feel brave enough you can even buy stamps and mail a package with an interactive kiosk. Can you image mail being delivered on horseback, much has changed since the beginning of the early years and days of the post office. The inception of the postal system was established in Philadelphia on July 26, 1775. The beginning of the American Revolution appointed Benjamin Franklin as the first postmaster general. Over the years the post office was declared and made its own entity still funded by the federal government, but it granted its employees retirement benefits after so many years of service. Today, this entity functions most of the time as a flawless machine. To ensure your package makes it to where it's going the post office types in your packages address to ensure accurate shipping delivery and avoiding delays. This is on your bigger packages although. Make sure and write legibly when addressing a letter to ensure it makes it to the recipient. We want the letter to get there. Give these ladies and gentlemen of the post office a chance and applaud. They have so many important things to do and get your letters and packages out . Thank you and the value is PRICELESS! Especially this branch !

I'm from out of town and assumed going to the post office would be a quick trip. Boy was I wrong. It's likely due to the time of year it is, but the locals I was with said it's always this long anyway. There was a line of 10-15 people and it took quite a while. The employees were friendly though, so that's a plus

Post card stamps! Size increased to 9 inches

I really like this post office. The staff is helpful, kind, and efficient. They can get through a line fast! I love all the different types of stamps they have too. Most recently, I picked up post card stamps that were cute and able to fit the larger postcards because the mailing sizes increased. The desk clerk was patient in checking and verifying this info. Thank you!!

Ask the Community - US Post Office

What time does the USPS deliver mail for 46 willow wisp terrace, henderson, nv 89074 on a daily basis?

It really depends and it can vary. Sometimes it's busy or traffic is going on.

Had a priority letter sent to me on Dec 9th and I never received it. What can I do?

The sender would have a tracking number on their receipt and could find out the whereabouts of the letter and let you know.

They have at least 1 or 2 people available to assist, in addition to the separate line for package pick up. I must admit the staff is pretty courteous and hospitable and I like their attitude when it comes to assisting customers. The only issue is that they sometimes get backed up, especially when there are a ton of people needing any services earlier in the day. They have a decent amount of parking, but there are times when I have had to stalk people for a spot. They have ample space if you need to assemble packages on site, which is nice. The postage kiosk is a good option to have, too. All in all, avoid the rush of first thing in the morning, utilize the drop off area or counter for pre-paid postage. Otherwise, be prepared to encounter some wait time.

By and large, the people that work here are very cordial.. I wouldn't say they go over the top of being friendly, but they get the job done. And for a service-based establishment, that's the best I can hope for. Like I mentioned before, the lines can be very long first thing in the morning, as they open a half hour earlier than my usual one at seven hills. But the nice thing is if you already have stuff that is pre-postaged, you can usually just walk up to the counter and hand it to them. Bottom line? It's a post office, plain and simple. I will continue to use this unless something drastic changes.

Even with a line building up, she stayed organized, kept things moving, and handled each customer with patience and professionalism. You can tell she takes pride in her work and genuinely cares about providing good service. That said, it was clear she could use additional support--she was managing the entire line on her own, which isn't fair given how busy it was. Overall, great customer service from Dimika. USPS would benefit from having more staff during peak times to match the level of service she's providing on her own.

But it happens periodically, especially when our usual carrier is on leave. This is the local USPS that I have to contact when there's a problem. We didn't receive mail, incoming mail, and outgoing mail, this past monday- Aug 18 and tuesday- Aug 19. I also put out a letter which was misdelivered (it's a totally different address), and placed the red flag up monday morning; this is still there, 3 days later, today, wednesday, Aug 20. I called, but I listened to this really long list of Options, and tried reaching an Attendant. I was not able to do so, after that really really long wait. So I went to www.USPS.com to submit my Complaint. This is frustrating. I received an email response within a couple of hours. I received a call from someone at USPS, who then explained that our regular letter carrier is on vacation. I told him that the sub came here, but didn't know to check the front bench for our outgoing mail. I told him the sub was parked in between our hangar and the other hangar and could not see from his vantage point, that there was a bench in front of our office, which is where we place our outgoing mail. He assured me that he would leave a note for the sub to check our front property.
