The line at this particular post office usually very long first thing in the morning. Better to wait till after 12:00

This is my backup post office that I go to when my other one is too busy. I like this location even though it's a few miles further from my house. It's very clean. Very well kept. By and large, the people that work here are very cordial.. I wouldn't say they go over the top of being friendly, but they get the job done. And for a service-based establishment, that's the best I can hope for. Like I mentioned before, the lines can be very long first thing in the morning, as they open a half hour earlier than my usual one at seven hills. But the nice thing is if you already have stuff that is pre-postaged, you can usually just walk up to the counter and hand it to them. Bottom line? It's a post office, plain and simple. I will continue to use this unless something drastic changes.

Waiting 40minutes just for someone to come assist with page pick up. Came to pickup my medication and I had a flight to catch and NO SERVICE. Lunes wrapped around with about 10 people this is insane!!!!

This is the women that " helped " me .

I had been waiting patiently in line for approximately 40 minutes due to a printer issue. When it was finally my turn, I kindly asked for a pen to fill out my Certified Mail form, as there were none available in the area. The clerk handed me a pen but immediately became condescending and hostile, speaking to me in an aggressive tone after I did not respond to a prompt on the screen right away (as I was still writing). I calmly explained that I had been waiting patiently like everyone else, and that I simply didn't hear her the first time. Her response escalated, telling me I was not following directions and refusing to assist me further. I felt intimidated, disrespected, and unsafe--especially when another customer in line began yelling at me as well. I then asked to speak to a manager, and was denied, told flatly that I was not going to see one. This level of unprofessionalism, especially in a government service setting, was deeply upsetting. I left feeling shaken and powerless, and I am requesting that this incident be formally reviewed. I hope the security footage from that time can be pulled to verify my experience. No one deserves to be treated this way.

No complaints, all the staff inside where very friendly and happy. It's always good to see them happy and in a good mood. Having said that it's not always easy to work with people for so long, and sometimes customers bring their bad attitude inside. I appreciate their services... love "Ms Tea" or Tachana. Great attitude and excellent service. Thank you girl!!

It was a few weeks out when I had placed the reservation in the online portal though. The appointment time was at 3:00, but I was called early! The process was fairly simple, however, payment methods included limited options. The team member mentioned that I could visit a bank nearby and come back to finalize the paperwork process. After I got back, it was around 3:30 and I had put my reservation ID back on the check in paperwork at the front of the US post office location. I only needed to wait another 15 minutes until my name was called again. Service was fast! Hours for this location are Monday through Friday from 8:00 A.M until 9:00 P.M and 8:00 A.M to 4:00 P.M on Saturday. This US Post office is closed on Sunday. Full retail services such as stamps, shipping, PO Box access, and passport acceptance and photo services are available at this location. There were a lot of parking spots available here too. It was easy to get into, one way direction, and back out to Sunset road. I'd recommend this location if you're looking for US Post office services!

I saw the reviews and I know post offices/ employees in general can be a nightmare sometimes so I was ready. Whatever, it really was quick and painless. So glad this is the USPS closest to me. The staff are always quick and for the most part pretty nice. There's one lady that's kind of grumpy but what are the odds that you'll see her anyway lol I'm there ~1-2x a month but have only dealt with her twice in over a year. Again, everyone there seems competent and doesn't seem to hate it. I have never had a problem with tracking, always gotten the number and confirmation within 24hrs. I have not had to receive anything yet, though. The facility is clean and there's lots of parking. I'm not sure what time people go that make it seem like an extravaganza but that hasn't been my experience. A couple times I walked in and the line was nearing the door. Glad I didn't have to stand in it, but it went by surprisingly fast anyway. And anti-social people (me), rejoice. Self- service options and drop-off right at the entrance so you don't even have to walk all the way in, wait in line OR talk to anyone if* you're prepared. Pack it all up at home and drop it in. If you don't have a printer, download a QR code thingy, scan it at the kiosk and it'll print out a sticker for you, all free. Slap it on there, drop it in, turn back around and come out the way you came.

I hadn't violated any rules or done anything wrong whatsoever; they simply didn't want to do the extra work. Consequently, they used various excuses to harass and obstruct me--illegally refusing to serve me--and told me to go to a different post office instead. Their so-called manager and a colleague named "Stardust" were incredibly rude, shouting loudly right there in the office. When I attempted to reason with them, they threatened to call the police on me. They also spouted all sorts of incoherent nonsense that I couldn't even understand. This behavior is truly outrageous; these individuals are completely out of control.

"Where Letters Go to Die: A Gulag Review"…read more I arrive at 5:00 AM, expecting to be first in line. Instead, I find a queue wrapped around the building like the bread line outside a 1962 Minsk grocery store. Babushkas in housecoats. Grown men clutching Priority Mail boxes like they're smuggling defense secrets. Nobody speaks. Nobody smiles. Somewhere, a crow caws ominously. The building does not open at 8:30 AM. The building considers opening at 8:30 AM, deliberates on it internally, consults the Politburo, and then -- MAYBE -- cracks the door at 8:37, releasing a smell like a meat locker that lost power during a heat wave. I do not know what they are storing back there. I do not want to know. I suspect it predates the Cold War. Once inside, you are assigned a number and a fate. Speak out of turn, sigh too loudly, or make prolonged eye contact with an employee, and you are sent to the back of the line -- or, if the postal worker's mood is sufficiently sour that day, to what longtime patrons here simply refer to as "the Gulag Line," a mythical second queue that may or may not loop through a supply closet and back out into the parking lot. I came here today for one reason: to find out what happened to FOUR -- count them, FOUR -- letters I mailed over a month ago. Two to comrades in New Jersey. Two here in Vegas. My poor babushka has not received her money. My vendors are calling me daily, demanding payment, assuming I have simply vanished into the Nevada desert like a man who owed the wrong people money. I have become, through no fault of my own, an international letter-smuggling fugitive in the eyes of my own family. The clerk -- no name tag, obviously, they don't want to be identified by the tribunal later -- informed me with the warmth of a Siberian wind that "mail sometimes takes time" and that there was "nothing to track." Comrade, I don't need reassurance. I need Interpol. I need a forensic mail accountant. I need to know if my letters are lost, stolen, or currently being read aloud at a KGB holiday party. Pros: Excellent cardio from standing for three hours. Free character development. Cons: My rubles -- er, dollars -- are missing. So is my faith in the postal system. So, possibly, is an election somewhere. Do svidaniya, Russell Road Post Office. I will see you again next month, same line, same silence, same suspicious meat smell. Not because I want to. Because I have no choice. None of us do. 1 star. Would not defect again, but have no other option.

There's a lot of things to love about the post office at the airport…read more I barely even knew it existed until I signed up for a PO box there a few months ago. Not only was it a few dollars cheaper than other locations in town, but how convenient to get my mail as I am flying in or out of town, as I often do? I was worried about the parking, but you get 15 minutes for free in Short Term Parking, which is enough time to park, walk in, get your mail, and walk out. There's even enough time to get any packages if there's no line. The downside? The location has 1 employee, and so the hours the post office keeps are shorter than other post offices. So when they've got your package, you have to catch them. They're supposed to be open until 4pm daily, but I showed up at 3pm one day to find the place completely shuttered. Hoping that was an isolated incident, as I love stopping by the airport any other time to grab my mail.

This post office was a life saver. Okay, maybe Im being a…read moretad bit dramatic, but they sure were useful since theyre located within the airport. I was visiting Las Vegas from Hawaii and on our way back we were stopped by security because we had cookie butter and pesto in our carry on luggage. I had no idea about the restrictions of food in a paste substance, and I dont think I had even seen a sign regarding pastes in particular (although I could have just missed it). Upset by the way security started to treat me (a whole other review for the airport itself); but basically they kept insisting that I could just throw the items away or surrender the items to them. And if youre from Hawaii, you KNOW that you dont throw away Trader Joe's, ESPECIALLY cookie butter (that I had JUST bought that day, mind you). So I left the security check point a little aggravated. Now the airport is a bit big, but the post office is in the Terminal 1 I believe, on the second or third floor nearby the Security check for gates C and D. It was a quick 4 minute walk and luckily there was only one other customer there. There was one attendant there, but he greeted me very friendly and actually turned my mood around. He took one look at what I was carrying and said "Uh oh..did you find out about something upsetting?" :) That already started to make me smile. I went on to vent about the whole thing and he said "Ugh! No WAY can you throw out Trader Joes! I bet they just wanted to eat it." His jokes just made me laugh and my mood really started to change. He went above and beyond for me and turned the whole situation around. I was/am really grateful for what he did; anyone could have simply packed up my things and shipped it off. But he took the time to converse with me and actually made me feel better. I got my package in, with everything perfectly fine, two days later. I wish I could remember his name, but thank you to whoever you are. You really made my last memory of this Vegas trip, better. ^___^
