I love coming to this little post office because I think most people don't realize it's here and that it's an actual post office. It is quite small compared to the other post offices in the area, squeezed into a strip mall. The space is small so if you're doing something like packing a box in the location, you'd be a bit pressed for space but there is a small counter to do these things at. There isn't a huge retail selection here, as say there would be at the location on Horizon Ridge, but they do have the "free" boxes and all the stamps you'd want to buy. I've never experienced bad service here. The people working at the counter have always been super friendly and helpful. This last time I came in, they were giving kids candy. I was in this area on 03/22/2024 & was looking for a Post Office as I hate going to the one near my house as it's always so busy. Of course I used Yelp to locate this office & was surprised to find it in a mall plaza. Trader Joe's & Dollar Tree (along with other store) are close by. At first I wasn't sure if it was a "real" post office vs a mail shop but sure enough it is a "real" post office! I had some old taxes that my tax guy did for me & I had to mail out the printed out copies & I wanted to get proof that it arrived. I had 2 choices & ended up picking the certified one which was the correct one..yippie! There were a couple of customers in front of me but the wait wasn't too bad. The postal worker was very nice & friendly. She had a wonderful, happy attitude. I believe her name was Shena ? but may not be spelling it right. My receipt says Clerk 88. This is definitely a hidden gem! Thank you for your excellent service! read more

Tis the season for long lines.Especially at the Post Office. But Eleanor was a BIG help. Friendly, jovial & knowledgeable, she assisted with our letters & packages & got us out quickly. Listen, I DREAD going the Post Office, due to a horrible experience I had with them years ago. We don't have a mailbox at my work so our mailman comes inside directly to pick up our packages, and somehow he left behind one bin (which he has never done before). This forced me to drop the rest of the packages off myself. This is the closest, most convenient PO from my work. It's in a very cramped parking lot that's hard to maneuver around, mostly because Trader Joe's is in the same complex. It's also not like every other PO here in town. Instead of it being in a huge building, it's actually in a small suite. There were three employees working there and there were about four or so people in line, but to my surprise, it was moving very quickly. Before you know it, I was next in line, dropped off the mail bin, and I was out of there in less than a minute. The lady that took my bin was super nice. Bad customer service, always acting like they are going out their way to help out a customer that keeps their job going. The small Asian lady with fake blue contacts in particular needs to work on her people skills and learn how to communicate. I work in a environment where I'm dealing with guests from around the world to celebrities and was flabbergasted with her attitude, her fake demeanor of being nice is so easy to spot out. Don't buy the hate about this store. This place is top notch. And MEGA convenient. I literally parked 15 feet from the front door, and was in and out in two minutes. After a few months of reviewing businesses in the 89109 zip code: The Las Vegas Strip, it is time to return to the 89014 zip code: Green Valley North, Henderson Nevada. And what better way to return to the 89014 zip zode than to review its Post Office. Although I seem to be attached to my smartphone, in many ways I am old school. One way I am old school is using the U.S. postal service mail. In North Green Valley, I patronize the Green Valley Shopping Center U.S. Post Office. In contrast to several U.S. Post Offices this location is tucked away in the middle of a busy shopping mall. It shares a sidewalk with Trader Joe's, Mothership, Weiss Deli, Dollar Tree, Big 5, and several stores. The upshot is that it is convenient because it is close to North Green Valley residents at the same time it is a component of one stop shopping. The Green Valley Shopping Center has plenty of parking. However, it is not the easiest parking lot to get in and out of. Especially when you are exiting onto Green Valley Parkway or westbound Sunset Road. Additionally during busy times, this parking lot can test your patience. Despite its convenience this is a small U.S. Post Office that only provides basic services such as selling stamps, shipping packages, and private mailboxes, and some other post office essentials. Since 2008, I have been here more times than the fingers on both of my hands for basic postal service. During the Holidays, I have shipped packages from here. Throughout the years, I have purchased stamps here, sent out mail from the mail boxes, and picked up forms to notify the Mail Carrier to hold my mail when I was away. The two to three employees that work here at a time have consistently been pleasant to deal with. Despite its convenience to several businesses that I patronize, it is my opinion that the 89014 U.S. Post Office should be relocated close-by in an expanded facility where mail is sorted and held. This would be extremely beneficial to the 89014 residents on account of the fact that their closest full-service U.S. Post Office where mail is sorted and held is all away across Henderson off Horizon Ridge Parkway and Valle Verde Drive. As a resident living in the vicinity of Green Valley Parkway at Sunset Road, when there has been a mail issue that prevented me from receiving mail; it has been very annoying to have to drive all the way to Horizon Ridge Parkway at Valle Verde Drive to pick up my mail or to talk to a Postal Worker about the mail issue. Especially after work when there is limited time to get there before it closes. I feel that a similar facility to the full-service Horizon Ridge Parkway location in the 89014 zip code would be very beneficial to the residents. Especially with how fast Henderson is growing. The 89014 is a convenient US Post Office for the essential postal services. However, people living in the 89014 should not have to drive all the way to the 89012 to pick up their mail when issues arise. In conclusion, I see the 89014 as a convenient U.S. Post Office Express that would be far more advantageous to the residents if it was relocated close-by in an expanded full-service U.S. Post Office facility where their mail is sorted and held. read more

I just want to commend the staff at this post office location. Staff is always helpful, kind, offers stamps and keeps the line moving efficiently. Always seem bothered when working with them. I run an at home business where I have to mail packages to customers everyday. They constantly seems bothered by my drop offs and you can always count on them closing early. It's completely ridiculous. read more

This post office is convenient for quick stops and you can get in and out. It's smaller than your traditionally post office and they have 3 employees max. During holiday season they tend to get overrun and the line will wrap around the corner. read more

I frequent this shopping center, and even have a mailbox here for my business. This is a simple, convenient location for me. Although the workers are rather slow here, it has never been a big issue since it has never really been busy. As I walked in yesterday to mail a package, there was a line of about 8 people. There were two people working, and they seemed to be moving the line fairly quickly. Two customers then left at the same time, and everything ceased after that. One employee, Richard, apparently had to shut down his register. He went into the back, as did the other woman whose name I did not see. The woman came back out, but there was a lot of confusion as to whether or not he closed his register, took the till out and counted the drawer. She couldn't help anyone until he completed this process. Meanwhile, a woman cut in front of the line, but apparently had been at the counter before with an issue and was told that she could come to the front once she had everything completed. This would have been fine, but she still did not have it right. The woman helping her, Chi, seemed to be new and confused as to what to do. The original woman behind the counter helped her as well as another customer who brought in 6 packages, all going out of the country. As they all tried to help this one woman with her 6 packages, the line continued to grow. And grow. By the time it was my turn, I had been there for 20 minutes. My fault for wanting to mail something at the post office right before the holiday. I vowed never to do this again. I got to the counter, and the 'new' employee (I have no idea if she was new, but she did not appear to be very comfortable with the procedures) weighed my package and measured it. She gave me only two options for shipping, 2-day and 2 weeks. Seriously?! Nothing in between? It was only going to Colorado. The first option was $40, and I have no clue what the other option was because two weeks to go 12 hours east was so ridiculous. I took my package home, printed a label of my own and dropped it off the next day. 2-day for $18. Hmm. I have no idea why she was charging $40. I will continue to print my labels at home. (N Green valley Branch)I gave this location three stars because the two times I had a nice experience those associates deserve some kind of credit. This location I would have to say is a " hit and miss" situation. I just moved here and I've been a total of 7 times personally which only 2 of those times were pleasant. Please dont wrong I worked in retail setting over a decade so I know it's tough. So I make sure I smile, I wait my turn, and make sure my packages are always labeled and already sealed. Today I two people went before me to drop off there packages and they told " have a nice day ---sure just drop your package here" says the associate. I get to the counter and the associate says "if you don't need a receipt just drop the package off at the side" and I'm thinking to myself if I didn't need a receipt I wouldn't have been in line. Mind you there is no other costumer inside but me and one other woman who then looks at me at 4:20pm. Hands me the receipt as if my presence bothering her and her coworker lol! I would feel bad for sharing but gosh I'm not suprised now seeing all these other reviews. I see some people rooting for this branch so I'm trying to tell myself ongoing to try again lol smh. read more

This post office sucks like nothing has ever sucked before. Always one attendant and a line backed up of at least 10 people. What tops it all off people park in front of the store expecting to run in and out and instead it takes almost 30 minutes to wait to get served. Most of the customers are senior citizens who never are ready and require the single employee to pack things for the them. Handicapped people do not have to wait in line either. They are allowed to cut everyone off I've been in all the post office stations in the area and yes there's always a wait because of the cut from the Obama administration reducing costs however this one is totally the worst. Here's another issue. While there was a line of 15 a customer that doesn't speak English brings in a package from UPS and drops it on the couch yet and leaves. The man behind the counter who is the only one working stops what he's doing grabs the package leaves everyone standing there and walks to the end of the strip mall where the UPS store is drops the package off and slowly walks back He was in no hurry at all. This place is tucked in away in the plaza right next to the Dollar Store. I drove around and around the plaza looking for the huge USPS sign as every post office has, but this post office does not! It is very difficult to find. The lettering that spells POST OFFICE is in green and normal font. There was no USPS logo in blue as normal post offices have. Aside from being difficult to spot, the workers are rude and can care less of your package is lost or stolen. This isn't a huge surprise and I never expect much from post office workers. They are stuck behind the counter for the day dealing with angry customers left and right. Although I do understand, it doesn't change my one star rating for this office. The office is small, but they do have about 2-3 workers during peak hours which helps the line move a little faster. read more

Tucked away in the shopping center, you'd never know it's here. So it gives a small town feel. My only concern is there are some staff that don't have much customer service skills. Makes you feel like you're getting in their nerves, when you're only trying to get help and understanding. Not sure why the negative reviews. The team behind the counter have always been patient, and informing of options, and (knock on wood) I've never had an issue with packages arriving late. I even use this office during the holidays to get presents out to family across the country. The whole team is great. Lines can get long, but this is a small office, so it can be expected from time to time. read more

My husband went to this location on May 21st to mail a package that needed to be delivered in Italy by June 1st. He told the representative it needed to arrive by June 1st. They charged him $35.65 and afterwards told him it would be 6-10 business days. He isn't assertive and didn't press to make sure it would be there by June 1st. The package in fact didn't arrive until June 11th...at which time the hotel rejected it because I had left the country. One problem is that I have no idea where my ATM card is. The other is that I paid $35 for a package that they failed to deliver on time. After I returned to the country in July, I went back to the Green Valley branch to try to get a refund and I'll go to the bank and get a replacement card. I spoke to Buck who said my husband didn't purchase the right delivery option for guaranteed delivery and basically I'm out of luck and too bad. He didn't care about the fact that my package was missing and I was out a significant amount of money. I asked if I had any other option, he said I could go to a large Post Office but they would probably tell me the same thing. This is why the Post Office loses money and customers. Delivery is not dependable and employees don't care. I told Buck I likely would never sent a package USPS again to which he replied "That's fine." read more

You guys have a constitutionally protected monopoly and over a billion dollars in grandfathered real estate when you went "private", yet they still constantly lose about 3% of all my trackable packages. They promptly close at 5:00. Website doesn't even allow you to print firstclass, been that way for a decade. Want to see what a real private company looks like? Walk into the Fedex down the street that's open until 10pm with free wifi, happy workers, PENS, doesn't look like s---, people who actually help you. It's night and day. Why are we still subsidizing this useless entity, let it die. Did I mention lazy? Ask the guy to reweigh the package to double check it is the right one, he doesn't. Terrible. Envelopes were not stocked so as usual I had to wait in line and get one from the clerk, then pack the package and wait in line AGAIN to pay. The clerk refused to take my credit card even after seeing my Drivers license, because the card was not signed. He gave me a sharpie and refused to take the card until I signed it! What an idiot. I love the convenience of this postoffice, right by my home, my office, and shopping. I am always treated promptly by the workers. Sometimes there is a line, other times I'll go in when there is no line and the "black gentlemen" or the lady who is there will ask me how they can help. I don't understand the others who complain.
