I like this location because the lot is easy to navigate and there are plenty of spots. That being said, this location has the most annoying package drop off box. It is ALWAYS stuck, so if it's off hours and you need to just drop off a package, good luck. The only time anyone who worked there helped me was early before opening and it was the custodian or went and got help. I went after closing one weekday, and I'm talking ten minutes after, and I can see the workers at the counter organizing for the end of the day. I'm waving at them and asking through the door if they could help me or take the package.... Nope. Both completely ignored me. No acknowledgement. Finally after being defiant and standing there, one of them motioned "go around." Go around?!? I don't know what that means!!! So I drove around the block only to see it's an "EMPLOYEES ONLY" lot and I'm not one to break any laws so I just angrily drove off and went to another place closer to work. I wasn't expecting them to work much after hours, just some common courtesy by taking my package or fixing the broken drop off. That being said, I've only encountered the tellers face to face a handful of times and maybe once were they rude. Most of the time they're the ones having to deal with rude customers so I understand their hesitation to help me that one morning.... But i also understand the customers now too. read more

This branch is busy. They have an average sized parking lot. Came here because a package was reported delivered, but I never received it. Waited a bit in line then they went to check the back for something and came out and told me it was delivered. Never got my package, later spoke with my neighbor and he said they sometimes deliver to the same address but on the opposite side of the neighborhood. It's been weeks now so I guess that package is long gone. read more

I had to mail a return package today 07/26/23. A very nice vietnamese gentleman recommended me to place my items in a bubble pack USPS package for cheaper shipping. It came out to a little over $10 dollars. I was appreciative of his help and consideration to help me save a few bucks. read more

I needed a stamp for a payment that I couldn't make online so I was able to get the stamp on a envelope, I was happy to be able to buy only one stamp and one envelope so I didn't need to keep track of stamps I rarely use. This location has the most unprofessional front office staff and supervisors who seem to have no direction, no drive, and lack the ability to communicate without getting escalate and or talking things personal. Now this is not the first time that I vocalize the issues that I'm having with the carrier NOT being able to take his ot her time to drop off the CORRECT MAIL to the CORRECT ADDRESS. Somehow I find myself looking for my mail on my block...trading envelopes with neighbors is not what I intend to do every week. The fact that the carrier at times does not pick up my outgoing mail...just because it is an extra 7 steps is out of this world . Regional area manager(s) need to look into this...due to the fact that the area and or zone for the most part carriers have made it clear that they HATE this particular route because its too much work for 1 carrier to do and that they are in crunch time...well then, I guess the work will be sloppy and a disservice to this area in Fullerton. read more

We send in vacation holds a few days before we leave as directed by the USPS website. I've received confirmations of my vacation hold every time, and yet every time our mail is delivered throughout the vacation hold. They always tell us "there's a sub and they don't see the notifications". It's not a sub, it's the same guy in our camera every day. They don't care. I wish I could give this place a ZERO star rating. Shipped a package two day on a Thursday to a business in Fullerton from Sacramento. Got notification that business was closed on Saturday and would be redelivered on Monday. That's fine. Monday came and went. No delivery. Had called earlier on Monday and they said it would be redelivered that day. Called Tuesday morning and they reassured me it was on the truck and would be delivered that day. NOPE!! No delivery. This review is only for PASSPORTS. It is my very first time applying for a passport. The staff here is sorta helpful. I should know; I came here THREE times this morning. Smh. *eye roll emoji* Print your name to sign on on the clipboard. Walk-ins will be called on first come first serve basis. Passport forms and paper applications are available as well as pens and a table with four chairs to sit and fill out forms. Or you can complete the paperwork at home after finding the forms online and printing them out to bring along with you. This place charges $15 for a passport photo, go to Costco or Sam's Club where they charge $5. Sam's Club is 6 minutes away from here. Besides the passport photo and completed forms, bring your ORIGINAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE (for U.S. Citizens) if it ain't in color then it ain't original and you'll be sent away. Bring A PHOTOCOPY OF THE FRONT AND BACK of your proof of identity aka CA Driver License $$$ ONLY CASH, CHECK, or DEBIT will be accepted to pay the fees. NO credit cards. Came to this location on a busy afternoon, and "Rae" took the time to assist me. I have a hold on my mail and came to pick it up, unfortunately Rae was unable to find my mail but she took down my info and assured me she will take care of it personally. The negative reviews for this location are because the customers are very entitled and have no patience. I witnessed this for myself while I was there! Sometimes helpful, when they are not then they really are not. This is my the post office that my mail usually end up going to. I never really had any issue with them before. It's usually easy going in here but when you are there waiting for manager and the manager have been called already but did not respond and wait much longer while she had already walked past you then it pretty much struck a nerve. My mail was lost and I needed assistance with it and clearly I already know that the system shows that it was delivered and the package was maybe swiped out of my porch. The manager went out of her way and printed out screenshots of gps images and the package being delivered just to prove a point. When I saw the images she printed out the address that it was delivered to was incorrect by a number. However this manager continued on to be persistent that it was delivered correctly and I was wrong saying that even with a claim opened I would lose. I went to the address that the print out showed where the package was supposedly delivered to and lo behold my package was there. Thank you awesome neighbor. No thanks to this post office. Lady at the front made me and my mom waisted so much time because she didn't want to give us the package since my brother wasn't present even though we had a picture of his id. My id matched the address. We had the pickup slip. And she didn't want to give the package to my mom because her last name wasn't the same as his?? Are you serious obviously it's going to show her real last name. I'm so frustrated and overall not impressed with the costumer service. I understand if she couldn't do anything but she didn't even try to help. She even started to go back in forth with me in front of the other costumers from almost across the room. Shout out to Connie for being an angel when I was applying for a passport for the first time. She redirected me to CVS and Walgreens for my passport photo due to their camera being broken. When I got back, she didn't have me wait in line but had me give her my photos and go about my way. Do not book passport photos here on weekends because it is the second time here and the person who takes photos was in a "car accident". They don't give any notice so you show up to the news that she won't be in until 10 and maybe you can be seen. Thankfully the supervisor recognized us from being there a week prior where she also got into an accident, and helped us out with giving his card to call in advance to make sure she's there. read more

Came here for a passport renewal and it was pretty swift. Before making your way in line, be sure to go to the far right side of the counter where they have a table and forms to fill out. Do that first... and read everything. Once that's completed, stand in the general line, they'll go over the docs real quick, sell you a money order for the amount of the renewal, take a pic ($15 if you need one), and then have you send it out via priority mail. It's not a cheap process, but I appreciated how streamlined and efficient it was. Kudos to Nancy for her patience with me and giving me pointers to make things even quicker! read more

IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE -10 STARS, I WOULD. They do not care about losing your packages. I've lost nearly over 10 packages between my roommate and I. We even purchased a separate locker at our apartment complex for mail carriers to deliver to, and yet still, we lose our most valuable packages. All of them talk to you as if they are helping you and then avoid all problems and disappear. They even try to get you to sympathize for them. I don't feel bad for you or your carriers not knowing how to do your job!!!!!! It's impossible to even get loud or mad while talking to them because they try to assure you somehow that maybe your package is still out there??? I'm OVER THIS USPS! Get a new staff and a new crew!!! And get some respect for people's stuff!!! Packages scanned delivered wrong date and time, told me I was lying and all trackable parcels and packages are scanned and delivered since he started working as a postmaster. There's a worker named "Connie" that is very rude and disrespectful. I went there to apply for my passport and after filling out everything FOR THE THIRD TIME she said I had to do it AGAIN because it wasn't "dark enough ink" which i was the pen that she gave me. I found this very annoying because she made me fill out the forms many times as there was always an excuse of why she couldn't take it. Every time I made eye contact with her or even tried talking she gave me a very disrespectful tone and rolled her eyes at me. I love coming here..... each and every time I'm guaranteed to see people have complete meltdowns both employee and customer. Maybe it's due to the fact they're completely understaffed, maybe it's due to the slow nature of their employees, or maybe it's the depressed decor from the 50's... not sure, but there's always craziness. Yesterday I tag along with my friend who has to mail a package and this is the closest post office to our work. I'm sitting on a bench which for some reason they use as a guide for the line which means everybody is standing really close to me as I sit and play on my iphone..... all of a sudden a man in line.... I'd say 4th from it being his turn just starts to randomly blurt out: Man: Can somebody show me how to operate the automated machines? Employees: *pretends like nothing happened* Customers: *pretends like nothing happened* Man: Can somebody show me how to OPERATE THE AUTOMATED MACHINES? Employees: *pretends like nothing happened* Customers: *pretends like nothing happened* Me: *get up from the bench and move to the back of the room and type a comment about this guy on my yelp check-in* Man: Can somebody SHOW ME HOW TO OPERATE THE AUTOMATED MACHINES????????? Employees: *pretends like nothing happened* Customers: *pretends like nothing happened* Man: CAN SOMEBODY SHOW ME HOW TO OPERATE THE AUTOMATED MACHINES????????? So after the fourth time saying the same identical sentence with the same exact pronunciation of every word yet getting louder with each repeat an employee finally acknowledges this lunatic customer and takes him over to the automated self-help machine are and proceeds to read the man the step by step instructions that are clearly shown on the effen screen which in turn make the employees helping humans smaller. FYI, these automated machines are actually pretty cool. Think of the self-check out things at the grocery store and hardware store... same thing but for the post office. I've seen so many things like this here at this exact location. There's an employee, a Caucasian older man with a beard, he likes to have meltdowns at customers. He asked a guy if anything in his package was perishable or flammable which the guy was having trouble understanding the question due to language barrier.... employee starts yelling "WHAT??? I'VE NEVER MET A MAN WHO DIDN'T KNOW!! HOW CAN YOU NOT KNOW?" Crazy location but you'll most likely have a funny story to tell if you go. OH, and FYI... they took away the number system. I avoid this post office at all cost. I had the misfortune of dealing with a young woman with curly brown hair and a nose ring. She was beyond rude, I asked her for help and she was condescending. She made me get out of line twice to make a correction. When I told her, I won't get out of line again. She told "yes, you will. I explained it to you". She began to argue with me , in front of everyone!!!!Well clearly she didn't explain well enough! I left and I was in shock. I am going back to this post office just to get this terrible employees name, so that I can call the post master general to file a complaint. It's no wonder how this place has so many bad reviews. Came by needed to drop off a box to mail to a friend. I filled out one of their stickers cards I thought went on the box. When I got up to the person who helped me Mary she said that's for deliveries that require a signature. I said no just regular mail. I asked if they have one of the regular stickers I can use she seemed irritated and said no just write it in the box itself to and from and come back to me when your done. That irritated me like you can't wait one min? I just stood in a long line and waited for you. After I was done writing on the box as instructed to do by Mary I had to wait until she was done with the guy she started helping since she couldn't wait one min for me. When she saw the address on who I was sending the package to was in California she's like "Oh it's in California?" Then you use a regular to and from sticker. The workers, although doing their best, are not very helpful or responsive. They automatically slap the charge they want on your package without asking or explaining what your paying for. I got charged for an express shipping service and when I asked why they said it had to be that way. At that point the package had already been processed so it was worthless to argue. i stood in line to ask a question, about an address. fedex send me an address and when i googled it, it told me usps so all i did was ask if i was at the correct place, maybe fedex left some packages there, i dont knw. when a tall caucasian, balding man asked me if i needed help. i told him i have a question, i was given this address and google sent me here. am i at the correct location? he looked at me and laughed and said do you see my shirt? does it say fedex? look at the picture. to which i replied, "sir, i was simply asking a question, i do not work here so i do not know what you guys do here" he continued to laugh and said do i look like a fed ex worker to you. i told him you didnt have to make me feel and look stupud, i was simply asking a question. if you do not want to help maybe next time dont offer. i then walked out. read more

Staff are polite but there is rampant "inside job" mail theft at this location. In October I had a check I had written and taken inside this post office to mail to the Tax Assessor stolen and deposited. My bank flagged it and called me to ask if it was supposed to have gone to someone's personal account. No and this is a felony level amount of money. I was able to get the money put back in my bank account and pay my property tax at the deadline. Fullerton PD doesn't care (told me that since the money was credited back, there was no crime) and no one answers the phone at this post office. Calling the US postal inspector's office is voice mail hell so there is no avenue to report these types of crimes. Unfortunately, I do still receive some hard checks from stubborn sources that won't get with the latest technology and they are showing up on USPS Informed Delivery in my emails in the am, but not making it to my mailbox that afternoon when I meet the mail carrier to get my mail so it won't be stolen from the mailbox. A whole different problem. I have has several checks I have sent or that I am supposed to receive get stolen inside of this post office and it has been going on for the better part of a year.
