I guess thief's are working at this facility. Twice my wife's credit was delivered to this location and never made it to our address. Later we found out that the credit card was activated and roughly $300 was spent on it before the bank called and we put a stop to it. If I could give this facility a 0 I would. The newest incompetence I experienced was I dropped off a medium sized box and they lost it in their facility. It has never left their facility according to tracking and they can't find it. And, the items in the box were a return for which I can't receive a refund until the company receives it, so I'm out $50. How do you overlook a medium sized box laying around your facility. It's unbelievable. In addition, I will never do a mail hold with them ever again. On two occasions, checks that showed on my informed mail digest went missing. I had a package marked delivered, when I went to pick it up, the counter staff told me they just didnt have it and did not know where it was. When I asked why would it be scanned delivered & not placed I'm my box, their answer was "I dont know". She suggested to open a claim. When I asked her the progress of the claim, her answer was "I dont know". I had mentioned the package was uninsured. Even then she suggested to open a claim. I had the worst experience at this post office, with sending out my PASSPORT. My passport was delayed 1 month due to RHONDA not collecting my passport the day of. When I came back in and spoke to the manager about the email I received she brought RHONDA and she started to acuse me of not bringing my passport the day of and she started to raise her voice at me. And yet she has the audacity to say "she doesn't remember me bringing it in" like WHAT? Like I don't get why she was saying I never brought it in. I did have my passport with me that day bc I showed her the condition of my passport. So she was calling me a liar trying to look good in front of her manager. This post office has gotten worse over the last few months. For some reason, packages keep getting "lost" or "stolen" from my mailbox. This is absurd to say the least. 1 incident was back in October. Now that 2 more packages have gone missing in December, I decided to contact the post office. I called 12/4 at 11:39 am and spoke with a lady who mentioned that someone has been "breaking into" the mailboxes and "stealing" people's mail. She mentioned others have had similar complaints and that locks at my apartment complex are being "replaced." She said she would get some information and get back to me the next day. She never called and I had to contact the office to find out information. The same lady answered and told me all I can do is to "file a complaint." I contacted office management where I live and asked if they knew of any incidents being reported. They mentioned they have not had any reports of mailboxes being vandalized or broken into and that the locks are not being replaced. They said to speak to the post office. I also find it interesting that the post office package that was "delivered" the same morning I went to check the mail went missing, but my amazon package from the previous day was still there. Also, my mom found unlocked mailboxes on Dec. 7th during her walk. Extremely irresponsible. read more

I have had my PO Box here for over 10 years and suddenly this last year or so the mail is missing. I have contacted the supervisor and still nothing has been done. I contacted the postal inspector and still nothing is being done about it. It used to be a good place but now they have a new staff and all the sudden all my mail is always missing. I have informed mail, but it is always missing. The only thing they ever did about it was tell me to wait 2 weeks to see if the mail ever showed up. It never did. I am missing really important info from places like the IRS and my pay checks too. I am not the only one this is happening to. I am one of many people there that is missing their mail. I requested a package to be held at this post office since I wasn't sure if I would be home when it was delivered, and I'm not comfortable leaving a package in front of my apartment for a couple days. It's been a hassle going back and forth with this post office as well as customer service, but the employees here are generally nice and I can tell they are doing their best. Ivan has helped me a couple times and he always has a great attitude. He also is thorough and willing to go the extra mile to help you, and he even got a supervisor involved without me having to ask. The supervisor (I didn't catch her name, but she had blonde hair) was nice as well and offered to follow up with me once she heard from the courier who was supposed to deliver my package. I didn't think I would get a call back because they are so busy, but someone named Sheila I believe called me later that day. It didn't sound like the supervisor that helped me earlier, but I'm pleased that she followed through and had someone reach out to me. As a customer, it makes me feel like they care about my concerns and take me seriously. There were 2 other employees working and their demeanor isn't as nice, but you can tell they know their regular customers and are probably just comfortable. I'm still not sure if my issue will be resolved, but I'm glad the employees I've interacted with have done their best to solve my issue and help me in a pleasant manner. read more

They deface your stamp if there's not enough postage and return it back to you. I added additional stamp as it stated 20¢ more but since they defaced my 1st stamp they rejected the outgoing time sensitive letter and again returned it back to me. It's now 5+ wks and this letter has been going back and forth btwn post office and myself. Called post office and I was told I'd have to go into the post office OVER A STAMP THEY DEFACED AND APPARENTLY VOIDED IT. Basically they stole from me by doing this. Going into the Loara post office is like walking into a business where you will leave depressed because nobody ESPECIALLY the manager is never happy. I will now tell every shopping network that I refuse to have them send me anything through USPS. They need business so badly but yet will deface my 1st class stamp and will not accept my second stamp and resent it out only to have the time sensitive form returned back to me again. They don't even know how to spot theft and report it such as the stimulus employment EBT cards that allowed huge theft. They know an extremely large amount of cards were being sent out in different names to one address but did nothing about it but yet will nitpick and deface a 1,st class stamp several times on one outgoing letter of legitimate business and not a scam. The manager Jennifer is definitely not hired for her P.R. and loves to hang up on you as though this is her own personal phone but in fact it's a government owned agency phone. This post office needs a complete refurbish starting with mngr. The beginning of this letters journey was mid nov,2021 and today is Dec 21. Dec 6 i added the additional stamp that exceeds the required 20¢ and they apparently feel I should go into the post office to stand in line to validate what they themselves defaced. This location is the worst in customer service everyone except Tom have a very condescending attitude towards customers. I have to come here to pick up my mail hoping they didn't return it to sender.My issue is with the mail carrier his name is Peter. He claims to have a dog incident with my dog? Since April 2023 I have not received any mail. I have emailed and spoke with the supervisor Noel, whom I quote says " we have a lot of complaints from him, you're not the only one, hes under investigation. " so I ask can you please provide the date of the " incident " I have a camera on my door and I have reviewed every day the month of April and not once seen anything where my dog is having a confrontation! My mail box is at least 4 yards away and i have a closed in patio so unless he tried to enter my patio which is private property. then i can agree but even so theres no video of him having contact with my dog! I've also checked the mo th of May and still nothing? It's now September and still no response from the supervisor or an exact date of the incident Apparently I'm not the only him one who has an issue with him. Honestly when it comes to customer service I would love to give this place negative stars as if it would even matter. Terrible place full of finger pointers or a huge case of "oh well". Lost my package, over 14 days late and a week of only one phone call in which couldn't even answer a call back. They keep giving me a phone number to call in which is the same number of the post office!!. This location sucks, but customer service is great. It is located on a very narrow one-lane street with very limited parking. You will know when you are approaching this USPS because of the long line of cars blocking the road as they wait for a parking space to become available. Also, since there is an elementary school across the street, expect even more traffic. I was very disappointed that they don't have an official post office masking tape dispenser available for use on the stationary. The one I usually go to near Brookhurst and Ball has one available for use, which makes it convenient for customers to seal and send without waiting in line. The customer service was good since they tried to serve everyone as quickly and efficient as possible. However, I probably wouldn't come here due to the congested location. The silver lining of this location is that it is open on Saturdays til 3pm. read more

Apparently the post office can just hold your mail without notifying you and without any reason. We didn't receive our mail for over a week, I finally called and sat on hold for an hour to be told that a hold had been placed on my mail. I had to take a half day off work to go pick up my mail and deal with a nasty rude lady behind the counter. She informed me a hold had been placed on my addresss due to a "threatening dog" I explained my dogs were inside and we have had them for 5 years at this location never had an issue, "well if the carrier even hears a dog and feel threatened they can put a hold on your mail." WTF? My mother carried mail for 20 years and never once put a hold on anyone's mail, was even attacked once by a medium size dog, she just carried pepper spray and used it. But hey, I guess everyone can't be tough like a single mom of 3. Two days later our normal carrier walked up and knocked on my door (and petted one of my dogs after we came outside to talk with the him funny enough.) He told me a temp carrier, some Asian guy who was a fill in, had heard the dogs bark since we have a mail slot in our front door and put the block on. Told me he had told his supervisor three times that the notice was sent to the wrong house but the supervisor refused to resend it to the right address so he had stopped to tell us personally. It seems the post office is hiring lazy useless temps that put in fraudulent holds on people's mail and supervisors that intentionally screw with people by not sending out notices of hold mail to the right address then don't remove the holds when instructed to. I mean if the post office can't even get a notification to the right house 1 mile from their desk why do they even exist? Hey USPS! why don't you fire these clowns? Tell you what hire me and I'll clean house for you... Ridiculous Also contacted the USPS customer service line who promised the world after holding for two hours and delivered nothing, assured me the hold was removed and guess what? My college book was suppose to arrive Saturday and I got a message online from amazon that the Post office had put an exception on it and not delivered it so the hold never got removed. I have been calling the Anaheim location located on Loara St and was greeted by a rude employee by the name of Mona who kept interrupting me with a harsh tone of voice. When I asked to speak to the supervisor I was transferred to Jemilah Davidson who then passively interrupted me as if she didn't care to hear me out and then interrupted me as well in a matter of fact tone. I understand that these are busy, stressful times, but if you cannot deal with customer service then you are in the wrong position.
