I've been coming to this post office for over 20 years, always choosing to ship from here to support the USPS. But after my experience today, I will never spend another dime here. At around 1:30 PM PT, I was helped by a young lady who was extremely rude and patronizing. When I asked if she could put the label on my package -- something every other USPS employee has done without issue for decades -- she snapped at me in a very condescending tone, basically saying "Why can't you just do it yourself?" Instead of simply helping me like countless employees before her, she made me feel like I was a bother. It costs nothing to be kind, and a little courtesy goes a long way -- clearly, she hasn't learned that. Because of this experience, I will no longer be using USPS services. It's truly disappointing that one employee's attitude can undo years of customer loyalty. read more

This is legit one of the worst post offices I've ever encountered. They have the smallest slots (intended for letters) and the cut off time to drop off box or large packages is 1030. So if you happen to want to drop of anything other than a letter you are SOL. I have to go to another one that's way out of my way so I can drop off my packages. If you want to drop off any of your flat rate boxes or priority mail boxes go to the one on Chapman. read more

According to my tracking that my package was delivered 2 days ago at 7pm at night. Talked to one of the mailman as to why this was happening to all my packages and was told that management want to scan delivered eventhough it wasn't delivered that day. This was a priority mail, talked to a supervisor and ignore that this was a priority. Why is this guy still here, what he's doing is corrupting the post office. read more

Good luck ever getting someone on the phone at this location. When you go into the office the customer service is fine but if you work Monday - Friday you're never able to go in for help anyway. 2 packages marked delivered and they never got to me (not mail theft either as no mail came at all the day they were supposedly delivered), trying to get someone on the phone to help locate the packages is completely impossible. The two older ladies working here said I could not take the boxes I needed because it wasn't allowed ? She gave me a 25 count boxes and said to go find somewhere else. This was upsetting, last time we came to get boxes here they did not refuse to give us them. Please do better in inventory and customer service. read more

Once again 9-8-22 Two times in one week my new letter carrier placed a parcel in my bushes in retaliation for what I wrote on Yelp This occurred on the N 1500 Block of N Camden Pl in the city of Fullerton 92833 ,this is the second time that he did not guard my Mail which he took an oath to abide now he has intentionally picked out my home for his own personal gain in order to not properly deliver my mail per protocol this time I was able to contact a supervisor at the station that he works out of I'm hoping that whatever his intentions are ,maybe it's because I am the only Latino that reside on this block he thinks he can get away with it if this continues I will notify the Postal Inspectors because his actions are well recorded,I would like to add that when I conduct business at this Post Office the window Clerks are very professional and pleasant but this carrier is a disgrace to all letter carriers that work out of this station and he needs to be reprimanded for his deliberate actions. read more

I don't really know what had happened prior to my arrival but an employee here followed a customer outside of the building and was yelling at him for doing something wrong i guess. But hey, what does that have to do with me? Catching attitude with other customers for no reason. It's so unprofessional not knowing how to control your anger when you are at work. Hold on to yourselves, please. Especially the African-American lady with braids that was serving me. I rarely leave ratings or reviews but the employees here deserve a "Thumbs up"....! This morning, one of my colleagues made a mistake and texted me the wrong address + zip code. "RAY", a young female employee, took notice of this, googled the receiving institution on her own phone, and pointed out that I had the wrong address. That package was an important delivery and the address she suggested turned out to be the right one. She could've hushed me away to come back with the correct address, or worse, she could've just sent it with the wrong information. She saved us from wasting time, money, and most importantly, our integrity as a business. Plus, in doing so, she was very polite which eased my anger towards myself and my colleague. I understand dealing with people can be frustrating and it's not always easy to put on a smiling face... But people like "Ray" make our Post-office experiences better and more reliable. Had the guys name at the tip of my tongue. Works all the way at the end when you walk in. Dudes skinny, hairs long or braided. Not much help and lazy to answer when requesting any more information. Half way out, had an older blond haired lady assist me & was able to attend me quickly. Went to the back & handed me my mail. I'm a new resident where I live and mail has been MIA. I use the post office in Fullerton quite often. They are always under staffed but that is not the reason for the one star. The employees seem to be very unhappy to be working there. It could be their just overworked and I get it but so important to take the time with the customer in front of you and give 100% and truly want to help them. I like this location (off Commonwealth, between Gilbert and Brookhurst) as there's a decent amount of parking, the staff is friendly and somewhat efficient. Their hours, though, are whimpy bankers hours. They close at 5 pm sharp, and they are not open on weekends. If you need to pick up something, you have to take time off your work or lunch break to do it. Being that I work in DT Santa Ana, it takes me a half hour to drive here, and a half hour back, meaning my lunch hour is completely gone. I tried signing the slip and say "leave at front porch" but I get a reply "signature in person" Sigh... wish they opened weekends. read more

The employee Ky is most likely the worst worker I've ever seen, I came to pick up a package that I missed from yesterday and he tells me he couldn't find it telling me to come in tomorrow. I begin to explain that I was told to come in today to pick it up and that I even called their office and got a confirmation about my package being held there as he begins to chuckle and act rude to me saying that "we wouldn't just call someone". The hours of this post office are very inconvenient. Can't go in the morning because they open at 9:30am. Can't go after work because they close at 5:00pm. And of course they're closed on the weekends. So the only way to pick up a package is to take time off work. Hey, why not close from 12pm-1pm too? No wait that would be cutting it too close - make that 11:30am to 1:30pm. That would really make it impossible to pick up anything. Which is clearly the goal. Thanks guys! read more

Hit and miss here...some very capable clerks here, but the local system is really a mess. Some routes are "split' (whatever that means), so delivery is from here unreliable, can come anywhere from 12-8PM. Staff seems stressed and overwhelmed and trying to keep it together. They are very helpful when a problem comes up though. Another office near here closed a few years ago, and I think they're swamped. They also had to remove the drive-up drop-off, and put in ONE armored drop off box at the front, probably due to high crime rate. I really feel for these people. read more

I ordered something online back in february, and it took unusually long to arrive. I checked the tracking info on the website I ordered from, and everything was fine. It said "delivered to parcel locker". Well I live in an apartment complex, so normally for these "lockers", USPS will leave a key for it inside of our mailbox for that one time access. It is a strange system, but it works. Anyway, I checked my mailbox daily, no key. Assuming there was a mistake, I spoke with the apartment manager, since sometimes packages are left with her. Nothing. The next day I called USPS. The lady on the phone told me their tracking info said the package was left with the manager. When I checked with her again, she still hadn't received anything. The USPS lady said I would have a parcel locker key in my mailbox within the next 3 days. Never got anything. A few days later, I went to this post office to find out what was going on. They pulled up the tracking info, which said it was delivered to a parcel locker. I told them I was promised a key and never got one. I even asked if somebody could go check the boxes at my apt complex and see if one had my package. They said they will look into it and call me in a few days. A week later, nothing. No phone call. I opened a "lost package" thing through their website. Never heard from them. I then opened a claim, asking for the amount I had paid for the now lost item, and they decided it was not their responsibility and they owe me nothing. You lost my package; it IS your responsibility. I ended up talking to the company I ordered from and letting them know how quick their shipping was, but I was bummed my post office lost the package. The company was kind enough to send me a new one- to my parents' address in another city - free of charge. This time the package was delivered and received within 2 weeks of ordering. I will never return to this poat office as long as I can avoid it. I will drive a bit further for better service anywhere else! read more

I recently had a package lost and was put in touch with David, a parcel inspector (not exactly sure of his correct position title) at the Fullerton post office. He was super helpful and honest, admitting that a carrier had put our parcel in the wrong locker. I mean you gotta admire that in a world where people are always trying to point the finger back at you. He called me back promptly to tell me he tracked it down, but he hadn't been able to speak to person they thought had received it, and he would keep trying--he also said he wasn't giving up. He was like a dog with a bone--he was gonna find my package!! And...he did!! He called today and said he had it and would get it to me ASAP! He also gave credit to the carrier for retrieving it--admirable! Great service from the Fullerton post office--In particular, from David--a great asset to the USPS. Thanks again, David!! read more

This is my local post office. I've been to other post offices and I've only had one bad experience (albeit, it was very frustrating). I asked for the cheapest shipping option and they sent my package via media mail...without asking me if the item qualified for that type of shopping service. 2 weeks later and money in postage wasted due to that error. USPS website says they have pick up hours on Saturday mornings 7:30-10:30 to pick up packages, but the office isn't even open for pick ups on Saturday! I attempted to have the usps redeliver my package by signing the peach slip and scheduling an online redelivery. Two weeks later I still haven't gotten my package. Like most of the world, I work Monday through Friday and I don't get back home until after the post office closes. this office advertises wrong pick up times, doesn't even redeliver the mail, and won't pick up their phone even during business hours. read more

I think people have this mixed up - there are 2 Fullerton post offices near each other - one near downtown Fullerton, across from Chomp Sushi (on Commonwealth) and one across from Pita Hot (on Chapman). They are worlds apart, let me tell you. This post office is awesome - here's why: * Curbside parking in the front and side, and a parking lot in the back * Staff is generally friendly, professional, and prompt * Fast service! You're in an out of there so quick, the drive to get there probably took longer * Clean establishment and area, though right at the cusp of downtown Fullerton * NEVER crowded - you're waiting behind 2 people at the most, if that Sure, there's the occasional bum sitting on the steps asking for a dollar. But this place beats the Chapman post office location hands-down. You don't have to take number here and wait for your turn, behind the folks who strictly use snail mail. read more

I usually don't frequent post offices very often (thanks to modern day technology). Only time I usually go is to either pick up a package that can't be delivered to door or to ship out a large item. This location is pretty big. Plenty of parking and they offer PO Boxes for those of you who need them. Service has always been friendly the times I needed to go in for a transaction. Only downside to this place is that there are drive ways up to this place. All of which are one way. Meaning you enter from ONE side and exit out the other. A lot of people either can't read or just don't care. They have been several time's where I've seen some heated arguments from "almost" accidents. Please people. I do wish I had read the Yelp reviews before using this post office. I had a very slow turn around the first time but now something that was dropped off yesterday at 10:00 am hasn't even been scanned yet. Normally, the post office I use has it scanned within four hours. I just tried to call them directly and they let it ring ten times and hung up without answering. I just wanted to share that for those who have had serious issues such as theft there is a source to file an online complaint. The only way we can change ineptitude is to make sure people who are incompetent or apathetic are held accountable.
