They provided more movers for the hourly cost than the other two companies and were available. Darlene was kind and amazing, and thorough in asking questions about furniture, packing, pets, and exercise equipment. Things I didn't even consider! Day of the move (Saturday after Thanksgiving) Ryan, Santos, Mario and Amir showed up on time, carefully wrapped all of our furniture with either blankets or plastic wrap. The asked questions about where things should go, and questions about how to assemble or disassemble things. This is our third move, and we are not as young as we were with our last move. We had to make two trips, but it was still within budget. Next move, I'll call them again, and pay for packing (which we thought we could do on our own in our 50s!) From the start, they took the time to walk through our home and clearly ask about everything we wanted to move so they could mentally map out how to load the truck efficiently. They were extremely diligent with protection, using blankets and/or shrink wrap on all furniture and electronics, and they were very by the book when it came to reviewing the contract and confirming details. I especially appreciated that they checked all electronics before and after the move and even had me climb into the truck at the end to verify that nothing had been left behind. The move‑in was just as smooth. We had labeled certain items to go to one level and others to another, and they followed those directions perfectly, with everything ending up exactly where it was supposed to, with no damage and no confusion. Their organization and care were obvious in every box/container they carried and every piece of furniture they placed. They are amazing. Bruno, Carlos and Triston arrived early and were so efficient with their time. They handled our belongings with care and made sure to wrap furniture that needed to be wrapped. They made sure that the each TV was transported in a tote and made sure that the TVs were all on their stands and in working order before they left. They even went above and beyond and fixed the legs on a couple of dressers that have been damaged for years. However, I'm rating them a three because unlike most moving companies I encountered, they did not include wrapping. Normally when you have a mirror or any furniture with screws, they wrap your items or put your screws in a baggy. In this place, I was told that would be extra for each item wrapped and they did not put my screws in a bag. This was the first time I heard of something like this. They also told me to put some items in my car because they couldn't do it. For example, my computer items, such as my screens. That was very odd. The movers were just doing there job so I can't say they were doing anything wrong. I will say, my bed frame feels wobbly so something is off there. In my opinion, I should have just hired someone from Facebook if I would have know I wasn't going to get a full on professional mover experience. I paid 238 cash or so for 2 hours. I think the price was the most competitive but the service was not what I expected.
