This post office was so friendly. I'm not sure about her name but the young lady was very pleasant, patient, and thoughtful. I did not feel rushed or burdensome. Most postal service made me feel like I owe them something, sometimes I felt like I had to apologize for being there. However my experience here was very neighborly and she even gave me her pen to write everything down without being asked. I saw how she treated the elderly customer before me with respect and patience. Love it this experience. There's plenty of parking in the big parking lot. It's unfortunate that you can't drop off mail/postcards during non-working hours because the lobby is locked and there's no drop box outside. I came by to drop off postcards and decided to buy postcard stamps. Unfortunately for me they were all out. Had to go online and order some because I'm not going to drive to other USPS locations to have the risk of the same thing happening again. I'm currently waiting for the online order to be delivered to me to send off the remaining postcards I have that were bigger than the regular postcard size. Please see the attached picture where 1 is the normal postcard size and 2 is basically letter size so it would need 2 postcard stamps to ship or 1 forever stamp. At least there's a parcel drop so you don't have to wait in line to ship a package if you've already paid for postage. Please note that they do not accept FedEx or UPS packages. read more

1 star accredited post office for the fact that no matter what time you come, whether a few minutes before open, early morning, noon, afternoon, evening or close to close... ALWAYS, there is a long line. This is poor manager and staffed. 9 times out of 10 there is only one worker managing the front desk, which results in ALWAYS a long line. read more

This office takes forever just to get 1 small box mailed somewhere. There was 2 people working the counter and it takes 10 minutes per person including me. I came in on Thursday August 1st on my lunch break to ship out a package and do a Happy Return. I went up to the only lady in the store and she immediately was so incredibly rude. I did not get her name but she claimed "she runs the place". She condescendingly yelled at me why my package was could not be shipped out instead of kindly explaining what I could do to be able to ship it out. I then had a Happy Return which is a return program where you can locally bring an item to a location and they will pack and ship it for you! She claimed that was not how it worked and condescendingly yelled at me in front of multiple people. Brought me, a 19 year old, to tears in front of multiple people. I picked up my things and left. I understand the customer is not always correct but this was one of the rudest experiences I have ever had. read more

This is the one place I would recommend when you want to mail your letters. They used to have outdoor mailboxes, but it was sort of hidden away so it may have been likely people would try to break into them. I do prefer just walking it in and putting my mail through the mail slot inside. It will certainly feel safer this way~ read more

When I got my P.O. Box two years ago almost 3 already there was nice staff, now they got the worst customer service ever; asked an old man with a beard that he could help me locate my package and he refused he told me to come back tomorrow yelling at me, that he don't do that and comeback before 4 am, I work 7-4 I cannot come back. First few times to drop prepaid packages were fine. But they started to lose my prepaid items multiple times that it is now risking my own money at this point. Make sure to drop your items off with a worker even if you see the sign for prepaid item drop off. They dont care even if someone steals your packages. read more

This is for help I got over the phone at this location. I know post offices in general and even USPS I've been to aren't the epi-centers of customer service. But this is why this experience left me in a semi-shock. I was looking for a package that was supposed to be delivered to my office. But for whatever reason, we missed the delivery and was sent back to this location. To make things worse, the tracking number because really confusing, to the point that the 1-800 number people couldn't figure out what had happened and suggested calling the local center. Because the package was something I need really soon, I immediately got on the phone and spoke to a gentleman that was working there. I honestly was expecting to get some padded answer and like, "Well you're just going to have to wait..." But the gentleman on the phone expressed sincere concern for my situation. He took down my tracking number, asked me a few other questions, and then told me he'd call me back in a few minutes. Shook. Coming back to my senses, I figured, "Ah, he'll probably look into it but forget about it, and I won't hear back from him." 15 minutes later, I get a call. Re-shook. He said, I think I figured it out, but it might take some time. Are you able to come by today and pick it up, or do you want to just wait until tomorrow? I drove over there in the afternoon, and after checking my ID, picked up my package. NEVER WOULD I HAVE IMAGINED THIS FROM USPS. Shook and re-shook. Thank you kind worker of Sunkist Post Office. This was my first time going to ship something. Never here again. Old Man Mark was a huge ahole. Mexican man obviously couldn't speak English and instead of trying to find someone to translate or help, he starts yelling at him and telling him to leave. This review is specifically for an employee named Poonam or whatever her name is..Poona? Poon something. I have no idea what her deal was. I had one request, and that request was to have my envelop post marked. I mean, how hard is that? All she needed to do was to get the date stamp and stamp my letter. I had to go back and forth with her a few times and tell her that I need the actual stamp, not just the postage date which was printed on the sticker when I paid for the stamp. Poonam kept arguing with me and stated that it was post marked already as the date was on the postage stamp that I paid for. I kindly told her, I need the actual stamp though. And she kept refusing and said " no, the dates on it already." It wasn't until her coworker said "Just stamp it." until Poonam finally got the stamp out to stamp my letter.. Seriously, how hard is that? All she had to do was take the lid off the stamp and literally STAMP my envelop. I WASN'T ASKING HER TO DO ANYTHING ELSE. It would have taken no more than 1 second overall to stamp my envelop. The document that I needed mailed specifically indicated that I had to have the actual post mark stamp, which is why I kept requesting it. Otherwise, I wouldn't have even bothered exchanging words with that woman. I don't understand why she's even employed there if she's not even willing to do what her job requires her to do. All i wanted was a freaking post mark stamp. IF she's so lazy that she can't even spare one second to stamp my letter, I can't imagine all the other stuff she isn't doing in that facility. Going to the post office isn't ever a task I look forward to doing and I actually always try to put it off for as long as I can. My procrastination usually costs me in the end since I have to end up paying more to get something where it needs to be on time. This place is on the smaller side and it's a little hidden, so I don't think people even realize it's there. I didn't and I lived by it for almost a year. Lucky me. Service is pretty friendly, but one person that definitely deserves a shout-out is Doug who was working the last time I was there. Not only was he getting a long line down pretty quick, he was talking to everyone and making people laugh. Something you don't necessarily expect to happen at the good old USPS. They're usually pretty staffed up and I've never had to wait more than five minutes even during a rush. These guys get a bad rap, but they're not all bad. Sometimes you have a Doug in the crowd that makes you not regret still sending off snail-mail in a techy digital world we live in. read more

The Asian woman who works here is just SO miserable. If you hate your job so much that you're treating customers like shit, find another damn job. So I've sent certified mail at least 10 times, all at different post offices. The workers have filled out the little sheet for me, or if they want me to do it, they let me do it while they're calculating the postage. This lady was the first who made me get back in the long line after I had already waited. I asked if I could just fill it out at the counter but nope, angry Asian lady told me to get back in line and fill it out there and wait again. She did it to another person after me who was also pretty incredulous. The poor guy wasn't even sure what to get at first (only tracking or certified) and she did nothing to help explain it to him. She was so short with both of us, but at least I knew what I wanted. This guy was probably paying more than he needed AND had to get back in line. She also kept trying to upsell it and get him to pay $5 for some other tracking/signing service--thankfully he said no to that. What was originally going to be a 10 minute errand turned into a 25 minute one. At the end of a workday when I'm already rushing around to get crap done, this lady pissed me off. The US Post is like an ex that you're in friendly terms with; you still like them, but you found some other relationship that's better. From time to time, your ex does things for you that you just can't do without. That's the US post. A useful utility, just like an ex that you didn't break up with because it wronged you so badly that you can't and won't have anything to do with them. As post offices go, this place is good. 1) Lines go fast, and they're never too congested, unless you come at the worst of times. You know when those are. 2) There's no drive up drop offs. That's just sad. Sometimes, all I have is a Netflix movie that I didn't get into my own mailbox on time. 3) As my tip goes, they're closed on the weekends. I've been to this particular USPS many times because it is close to my bf's house. I've also been to many other US post offices. The most convenient contraption they have is outside, it's a drive-thru horseshoe kind of thing where you can drive through and simply drop your mail into one of the 3 mailboxes and go. That saves you a little bit of time and comes in handy when you need it. But one thing that is consistent with this place every time I go is the grouchy service I get from the old lady behind the counter. Why is she always so miserable?? She is obviously the type of person that hates her job. There was one incident, when there was a few people in line. Maybe like 3 people. She yelled at the people behind us saying, the line starts over there! Very unprofessional... And another one, Just yesterday my bf and I came in. No one was in line, and she was the only one there, so I went straight to her. She said in her sarcastic tone, Can I help you??? I ordered my stamps, 1 book of US and 5 of Canadian postage. As she walked over to get some from the other desk, my bf says to me, oh we only need one stamp for this... And the mean old lady glares at us and YELLS, "I THOUGHT U SAID YOU WANTED FIVE???" So I went to he post office, which I like never do, and as I was paying for my package and getting ready to leave, this lady in her mid 30's was trying to pay for the shipping of her envelope but wasn't ready to send. As Hector (the cashier) tried to help her pay for the shipping, she became super loud with him and start to yell at him for things he was doing and proceeded to explain how that was a shitty post office and how he was giving terrible customer service when this man was just trying do his job and ask her questions about the envelope. She then answered a phone call and told him that he was interrupting her phone call. Okay what? Ah actually you're being disrespectful as shit. She asked for his name and told him that his manager will be hearing about his terrible customer service and that he was shaking her envelope forcefully. SO if you're going to pay for something and have the audacity to say that they're interrupting your phone call or that you're in a hurry then perhaps you should come when you aren't in a hurry or step outside for that call. OR GET THE HELL OFF YOUR PHONE because Hector was just trying to do his damn job and you lady were being disrespectful and beyond rude. So Hector from the post office in Anaheim on Lincoln. My grandma was the first female mail carrier in Riverside county, so I get how the post office works-but these people are rude beyond belief. I dropped off 30 packages and explained to the guy that I have been waiting on my shipment of flat rate boxes for my business for over a month and I really need more ASAP. I tell him I do shipping and receiving and I average 50 shipments a day and he tells me "well you can take a total of 5 boxes, I need these for my customers." Seriously? Me sending 50+ boxes a day through USPS exclusively doesn't make me a customer how? This place is closest to my work, but I only come here when I'm desperate. read more

Continuous crap service from this USPS for 8 years. We have had our entire streets mail delivered to the wrong street at least 4 times. They deliver my mail to the wrong house at least once every other month. I've had other people's prescriptions clearly marked with a address that is not mine left on my door step multiple times, thankfully I was home each time to catch the mail person and let them know. They also lost a package shipped on Black Friday that did not show up until 12/23. I have called the post master who acts like he cares, but then nothing changes. When I tried to make a complaint in person I was told it can only be done online. Save yourself the hassle and go to the UPS store in the same plaza, may cost more but worth it. read more

I've never seen such poor behavior from an employee in my life. The USPS employee here named Jennifer came from behind the counter to slam the door in a customer's face. He had a large drop off and needed to run to his car to bring in more packages. The man had to beg her in order to finish the drop off. She proceeded to scold and lecture this man and his friend as if they were children. She even went so far as to curse at them and to tell them not to come to this branch anymore!! How ridiculous is that?! I was so upset that I left without shipping my package. I won't be coming to this branch anymore either and I hope this woman can take an etiquette course.
