This is by far the worst FedEx location I've ever visited. While customers were waiting in line, two employees were busy arguing with each other instead of doing their jobs. To make it worse, one employee (a black woman) actually yelled at a customer to wait while they handled their own issue. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional. When it was finally my turn, I brought in a return with a QR code that clearly states FedEx will print the label, pack, and ship the item. I was flat-out refused and told they "don't pack" because they don't want to be blamed if something is missing. That's not only lazy--it's incorrect. I contacted the company that issued the QR code (Lululemon), and they confirmed FedEx is contracted to provide exactly this service. So either the staff doesn't know their own job responsibilities or they simply don't care. This location is disorganized, unprofessional, and clearly poorly managed. If you have any other option, avoid this place entirely. I will not be coming back, and I won't be using FedEx again if I have a choice. read more

Absolutely would not use Fed Ex. They do not follow delivery instructions. I provided a gate code. Did they use it? Nope. Just took a picture of the key pad. Did they use one of the other gates without codes? Nope. Later I got an update saying it will be delivered next day. I called the number that was redirected out of the country. They told me due to privacy reasons I can only provide code verbally when driver arrives. Well when the driver returns the same thing will happen. The gate code is still needed. It's sprinkling and I found the package in the middle of the fire lane behind my house. There's no way to get a hold of anyone from FedEx and the time you do, they assure you its been documented. Based on my review from 2021, it has not gotten better. If you work for FedEx, do realize you need to get off your truck and off your lazy bum, and deliver packages to the front door. I had to return a pair of shoes via FedEx and came here because it was the closest location to me. I was dreading running this errand because I needed to pick out a box and pack it to be shipped and it's the last thing I want to do after work. I walked in and there were no customers, no line, etc. Luis was at the counter and asked if I had any questions and I asked him what's a good box to ship my shoes in and he pulled out one box and put it together for me and put the shoebox in and it was a great fit. Then he said, "I think I could do better," and pulled out a smaller box and I immediately thought it wasn't going to work, but then, it fit LIKE A GLOVE! Went to a fed ex store close to me had their customer service call Fullerton and was told that it was damaged. I asked to see a picture or have the damaged package delivered to me, customer service called back to Fullerton, with my request, and then they said the package was disposed of. Right, it was a Lululemon leather jacket. Then I asked for an email stating that the had disposed of my package, Fullerton said they couldn't do that and would not give me anything since I wasn't the shipper, told me I had to go to Lululemon and file a claim thru them. I came in to get a gift packed and shipped and the employee had ME do all of the packing. When I told the employee I wanted to pack and ship the item, he responded, "Do you want to grab a box?" I grabbed a box that seemed to be an okay size and asked the employee if my item would fit. "Yeah, if you lay it sideways." The employee made no efforts to move toward the item or box. So then I assembled the box and placed my item inside. The employee then asks, "Do you need tape?" CLEARLY since I originally asked YOU to pack the item in the first place. I haphazardly put the box together and taped it and I can only hope it arrives at its destination. The employee also didn't give me any shipping options, just asked when I wanted the item to get there by. Ideally Saturday, but there really wasn't any rush. I was given no options with my shipping, and it came out to $25, including the cost of the box I packed. $25 for me to do half the job and for 5-day shipping? Last time I shipped something at UPS, they GLADLY packed my item for me and gave me several different shipping options, which is honestly the bare minimum when a company offers packing and shipping services. read more

Not a reliable shipping center. My message on the back side of the door tag never been acknowledge, the driver left me one door tag stated signature needed. Left me second one the next day with nothing on it, I wrote on the back side to ask if I can pick up locally, and it was never been touched (no third attempt, Never told me to pick up locally after third attempt) When I called customer service, they looked it up and said I could pick up at the center the following day. When I pick up at the center they said it is too late, and they said driver has attempted three times. The only reason I went to this establishment in person is because I didn't want to wait in front of my door, carefully listening to see if the delivery guy arriving at the gate for my package that needs to be signed to be released to me because that never happens with FedEx. Like many others with their complaints, their drivers just stop by to leave a note on your door saying that the delivery could not be completed because nobody was present without even trying to knock or call you. I wanted to avoid all that b*llshit and come here myself. It took me about 5-10 minutes to even get acknowledged and helped. The lady helping me out showed no emotion and had the biggest RBF. Lady didn't even have her mask on right and on top of that, they have signage that says masks are required for vaccinated and unvaccinated folks AND EVEN SHOWS A PICTURE ON HOW TO PROPERLY WEAR A MASK. Well, I got helped and was in and out. I was right behind an older gentleman that looked pissed as heck and what do you know... He was there to complain to the manager that he waited in his living room for seven hours just to make sure the package got delivered to his house the past two days and they still won't give the package to him, but instead, they said they can only deliver the package to the guy at home. The sad thing is that he'll probably never get his package. Everyone working here is terrible. Working in customer service myself, it gets frustrating at times but if you're that angry at your workplace, find something else. Confirm address and apartment number . Driver refused to get out of his truck and walk in the gate to deliver . Chapman Ave entrance is always closed and trucks can't fit back there . Let alone they block the roads and have trouble turning around . They always work at Walgreens and walk across or the business right beside us . I am so disgusted by Fed ex and specially the Fullerton ship center and its customer service. A small envelope was given to the Fed ex store in Oakland last Wednesday (10 days ago)!!! The employee assured the sender that Fed ex ground would take 2-3 days; it is in within California after all. The price was $10 . In a nutshell , I am still waiting for this important enveloppe and that despite several phone calls to customer service at the 800 number with waits to get a live person for up to 45 minutes, and filing an alert with someone supposedly calling today Friday; of course , no one called. Covid is NOT an excuse. If Fed ex cannot manage then they should just close the services. I get messages that the delivery is scheduled every day for the next day and so on. I fear that the enveloppe is lost . I am so disgusted that no one from Fed ex seems to want to help finding the package. I should have send it by US postal office registered mail. The worst shipping center on earth! On three occasions they have not delivered my package and excused it with "We are getting too many packages to make our routes in time. We don't have a time table on when we can deliver your packages." This was literally their response...saying that they don't know when I would get my products. Mind you, all of my packages are for business and these guys just don't care. They took nearly 60 days to do an internal review and found out they sent it back to the shipper. Seems this place gets a bad rap from couriers. All was smooth, professional, and capable FedEx employee helping me send out a package.

I was supposed to receive a parcel on Thursday Aug 6 by FedEx. I stayed at home all day to be sure I could sign for it when it arrived. FedEx made an "attempt" to deliver the parcel at 6:45pm that night. However, they neither rang our doorbell nor knocked on the door. Both I and my wife were home and the house is not big, and we certainly would have heard them knock or ring. FedEx left a note saying that they would try again the next day. When I called to complain I was told by the representative that my parcel would be given "priority" the next day. However, when by 4:30pm on Friday Aug 7 the parcel had still not arrived, I called to enquire as to the estimated delivery time. I was told by a representative that my parcel hadn't actually been sent out for delivery. When the representative tried calling the Fullerton office to ask what had happened, nobody answered. He concluded that they must have "closed early." The earliest I would now receive it was Monday Aug 10. This is by far the worse example of customer service I've seen for a long time. The driver showed a totally lack of respect by not even bothering to ring our doorbell. And the Fullerton office is clearly uninterested in providing on time delivery. Even the representatives that I spoke with sounded genuinely shocked at the office (closing early, failing to re-send the parcel for deliver, failing to correct their driver's earlier mistake, etc). Do yourself a favor: if you can avoid dealing with the Fullerton office, do so! Incredibly unprofessional and careless. read more

The only real thing you can count on is them not delivering your next day delivery the next day, and then acting like you are the asshole when you call customer service! Yes, I did because I didn't trust them to do delivery anymore. But I have no idea why they didn't as my request. The package was out for delivery and I wasn't home!! Thought it would be back at the station but they left my package at the front door. OMG that was almost $10k package signature required but it was release authorized (by whom??) and was left in front of the apartment door. I would like to outline and complement the staff on duty Christmas Eve here at this facility in Fullerton. Before I am able to do so I must discuss my situation and a very important Christmas delivery I was waiting for from FedEx. A large and heavy important package was to be overnighted to my home as scheduled as an overnight delivery. It was a Saturday and the extra fees had been paid to FedEx to ensure this type of weekend delivery. For one reason or another or just the chaotic delivery load that accompanies this time of year, my box was not delivered and was going to be rescheduled two days after Christmas. Any parent knows that somethings super important such as the crowning gift for a son at Christmas is some thing that makes or breaks Christmas morning. After calling the 800 FedEx number, I was put in touch with the staff at Fullerton who subsequently chase down my package and told me I could come down and get it, only A few minutes before 5 PM closing for Christmas Eve. I was told that a woman by the name of Evelina was on duty and she was able to determine my package was sitting there at their office and they would help me. Upon my arrival a gentleman by the name of Matt pleasantly greeted me and got down to business. After confirming my identification and cross checking my tracking number he disappeared into a large warehouse searching for my package. These two folks demonstrated professionalism and courtesy under the duress of the incredibly busy and crushing holiday shipping season. At no point did either of them make any excuses, present any reservations or speak to anything in this situation other than I can do it let's get it taken care of we can help you. In the military we used to recognize these folks with gratitude and an award and expression known as Bravo - Zulu... a job well done. This is well-deserved and appropriate for folks like this who are tired at the end of their day going many long days into the season and still being professional and embodying the can-do spirit, the spirit that made FedEx what it is and what it has been. I cannot comment on crushed boxes or anybody's experiences beyond the one that I have. There are lots of complaints in photos about such things on here however nobody has control over that individually, certainly a package passes through Minihans before it gets to this Fullerton office. This office should be judged on its staff presentation and all things in its operational control. In my opinion this place gets the job done it's presentation is clean and orderly and the staff is phenomenal. Thank you! read more

But FedEx has gotten more unreliable and less responsive to the demand and to customer needs. I mean it's amazing they hire these people who are stealing packages rather than delivering them or the drivers just dump them. FedEx really needs some accountability.
