Wish I could give 0 stars. I've called nearly 30x to get information on a package, and no one has ever picked up.

The last time I was here, I was second in line. The clerk closed the door in my face after helping the lady in front of me. I yelled out "hey" and knocked on the door to get her to help me. There are signs posted everywhere that they are closed to the public and to go to the Bel Red post office if you have any business at all besides getting a residential package. The building looks like a prop from a WWII movie - really needs major renovation. The parking lot is large but needs to be repaved with a lot of loose gravel and holes.

I had to sign for it but since they tried to deliver during work hours they left the tag in my mail box. I chose to pick up at the post office the next day. After 15 mins they came back saying they couldn't find it. They said when they find it, they will just place it in a parcel locker. Two days later and still nothing, went to the post office, had a different person look for it, once again, couldn't find it. She was even trying to put the blame on me, saying I shouldn't have responded to the tag and just left it alone! Makes no sense! This went on for two weeks, post office visits, phone calls (which they usually wouldn't answer), then the tracking changed to return to sender. This post office is so careless and untrustworthy. They knew I was trying to find this package, yet instead of contacting me (which I left my number and email to multiple people there) they decided to just send it back. Think twice before using this location for anything.

Very helpful, efficient and nice. Upon arrival, there's signs to let you know where the passport office is at. It's located at the left, next to the counter. Just ring the doorbell once and someone will come get you. Make sure you arrive at the appointment 10 mins early to account for the wait time. They also take photos here for you for an additional charge of $15/per photos, so that's pretty convenient. He explained the process and will make photocopies of the documents for you. I would totally recommend this location for passport needs.

Sadly, while this place may have been a great place to patronize in the past, they are now overpriced, understaffed, and I will no longer use their services. First, the good: the reason this is two stars rather than one is their honesty. Of the three times I have tried to use them, the lone attendant behind the desk has been up front on how expensive they are and offered great suggestions on how I could save money by patronizing other businesses. Room for improvement: Staffing. There is only one employee there, and frequently more than one customer waiting and/or the phone ringing (the case on all 3 of my visits.) On two of the three occasions I visited, I wanted specific price quotes to compare options, and wasn't even given a number. "An arm and a leg" was given on one occasion; on another "twice as expensive as going to USPS". While both estimates were effective in helping me choose less expensive options in other stores, they did not help me decide whether it was worth my time to make another stop. I got the impression that the employee was lazy and would rather turn business away than have his employer make income. (To be fair, he was probably just being honest and trying to be helpful. But it's a sad statement for a business when your own employees help customers by sending them away.) Room for improvement: Options. I'm used to independent mailing centers offering multiple services and quoting you the best option for your parcel. But here, the only options are USPS and FedEx (and they'll take prepaid UPS boxes for a fee). USPS costs more and takes longer (they wait for a daily pickup) than driving 2 miles to the actual post office, and FedEx options are limited and expensive. Again, the employee will helpfully tell you where else you can save money. Yay honesty. In contrast, I've received wonderful customer service from the UPS Store in Newcastle, and USPS Post Office and FedEx ship center in Factoria. They are amply staffed, have cheerful customer service, and actually want your business.
