Extremely bad service, no way to communicate at all, wasted a lot of my time to pick up my package.

Follow delivery instructions for once? Just might make people not hate every single delivery service in the country. Some people have medical conditions preventing them from retrieving their packages, so we have to inconvenience others when taking a few steps is overbearing to those who are able. read more

Came here to pick up a package after the tracking page said it had been held due to the residence being marked as vacant. I had to ring the bell twice and wait about 5 minutes for service. After this, I was greeted by a lovely young lady who was straight to business but very nice about it. After a bit of searching, she was able to find my package, and offered to deal with my vacancy slips as a bonus. Not the best experience, but got much better service than I expected. read more

Not a regular post office. You can come in to send packages but that's about it. No PO boxes to rent, etc. Stopped by just to send off some mail that I had in my car, no interaction with the staff. Parking lot is packed full of employee vehicles. No drive up mailboxes here. There is one mailbox you can drop mail into on the sidewalk outside the fence. read more

This USPS isn't like the others where you buy stamps and such. It's a Carrier Annex so I figured it's mostly a delivery access point. I'm currently having issues with a package that said it was delivered but it isn't at my doorstep or mailbox for the past couple days. Still working on fixing the issue unfortunately. Who knows what happened to my poor sweater... By the way, if someone isn't up front you have to ring the bell "knob" thing that's on the right side of the wall of the front counter! read more

It seems some things never change. I was expecting a package from the Ukraine. It made it to the US. I was not notified it had arrived so after checking with the sender I went to the local post office and they tracked it to the annex in Bellevue and said I could pick it up there. I drove directly to the annex to be told they had returned the package as I had not picked it up. I asked how I could pick it up if they had not let me know it was there and though apologetic they said that there was nothing they could do and that I could ask the sender to mail it to me again. Why would I do that? Why would the next time be any different than this time? The postal service in Ukraine is at war and under attack and yet they are efficient enough to get the package out of the country only for the USPS to drop the ball. Think about that for a minute. read more

This place is the worst. Good luck to you if you have to pick up a package. It could take 1/2 hour or more because there is only one woman who works part time at the window. And she doesn't have both oars in the water. read more

Full Disclosure: I am at the post office 3 to 5 days a week shipping packages. I frequent the Redmond location the most, but I stopped by Kenmore to ship some packages as it is closest to my apartment. I've never had any problems with this location before today; usually, there's a nice, friendly blonde lady working, but she left shortly after I arrived with my packages. Juong showed up and started checking people out. I generally go to the self-serve line at the Redmond location, where a shipping label is printed for you. The city, state, and zip code are printed at the bottom of the label, right above the barcode, and there's a big white splotch at the top for you to write in the remainder of the address. Some of my packages were being shipped in re-used boxes, and I was anticipating those labels would print out. When I showed up with some packages that were not addressed, Juong turned me away. "Usually there's a little label that prints out," I explain, apologetically. "Do--" "We don't do that." "I--" I continue, as that wasn't the question I was on the verge of asking. "We don't do that." "Do--" I attempt again. "We don't do that." Frustrated, I move my packages aside and start writing the addresses on the sides of the boxes that aren't covered with clear tape. I get back in line. "The shipping labels, I go to the Redmond location and--" "My wife works at the Redmond location, and they don't do that either." "I go to the self-service station," I explain, "I wanted to--" "Well, we don't have a self-service station. Maybe they print the labels there, but they don't print it here." I knew that from the first eighteen times he quacked "We don't do that here", but that wasn't what I was asking. What I was trying to ask (and would have, if I wasn't interrupted before I could get six words out) was if that was the case at ALL post office locations, as I planned on stopping by the Bothell Post Office tomorrow, and needed to know if I needed to have it addressed in advance. By then, I gave up; there's only so many times one can deal with someone snapping, "We don't do that!" at you before you decide that it's a waste of your time. He starts weighing my packages, and as he does so, I watch as a label prints out the label has a bar code it has a long white splotch for you to write the address on and it has the city, zip code, and state printed at the bottom. "That doesn't have the address printed on it," he says quickly when he notices me eyeing the label. He tosses the package into the bin before I can investigate further. In short: terrible experience. Terrible employee. Just drive to Bothell/Kirkland/Redmond instead. read more

My mom's mailbox was broken into and I was told I could pick up her mail at this location. As was mentioned by another review, you press a button at will call and wait. After a few minutes, a young lady opened the door and asked to help me, only to help the other person standing outside. He may have been an employee needing a side door opened, so I let it slide. As I told her my situation, she repeatedly interrupted me to say she couldn't give me my mom's mail. I was simply trying to get information if her mail was being held here. We went back and forth, with me finally asking if I could finish my comments and questions. She asked if I had a signed note from my mom or if I lived at the same address. I said no to both and she said she couldn't help me. I understand her needing ID/note/mail recipient in order to release the mail; that's not the issue. The issue was her inability to listen and offer a response without cutting me off, or being rude about it. I finally asked her if that was how she treated all her customers. She responded by saying she was giving me what I was giving her. Though she's not necessarily in customer service, some simple listening skills and empathy would have been appreciated. Next time I go with my mom, who is coming home tonight, I'll be asking for a supervisor. read more

Whatever happened to "neither rain, sleet, or snow will keep the postal carrier from delivering the mail"? Apparently, due to 3 inches of snow the postal carrier could not walk to my front door and therefore skipped delivery. So I went to the Bellevue Annex to pick up my packages. Parking lot is full of employee vehicles but a sign on the door says they are closed Saturday, Sunday, and Monday due to weather. I guess the one person who interacts with customers couldn't make it in to work and no one else cares to help customers. Really the Postal Services needs to be privatized to end this ridiculous organization. read more

I went out immediately and didn't see the USPS truck or my package after tracking text message said my package is delivered. Tried hours to call the always busy line and the postal worker said the driver will come see me or call me, he never came or called. read more

This comment is for distribution staff responsible for zip code 98004 and 98005. Please pay attention to the difference between an apartment and a house! I keep getting mail that belong to people who lived in my old apartment building with DIFFERENT UNIT NUMBERS, when those people have similar first or last name as mine. What's worse is that USPS also sends out incorrect address updates to my health care providers, which could potentially result in my personal information being mailed to complete strangers. I noticed this problem when the address on my health insurance profile keeps getting updated to an address I have never lived at. After visiting another Bellevue USPS location location TWICE and speaking to their supervisor, the problem is still not fixed. A week ago I got mail for a person whose first name is my last name. And my health insurance address got updated for the 6th time to an address I have never lived at. I also had mail that went missing which I suspect were wrongfully sent to my past neighbors. Please add my name to the list of people who say that this office is the absolute worst!!! I was waiting for an important package because I am ill right now & the package contained things to help me. My carrier did not deliver and when I looked up the tracking number online, it said that there was "animal interference". This is an absolute lie because I made a point to keep my dog inside with me all day long, knowing the package was expected today. This is not the first time this has happened. I also have a home camera and can see that no delivery was attempted, otherwise I would have seen the postal truck try to make it up our driveway. Never happened. Whenever I know a package is coming I make sure to keep my dog inside because in the past she has been out a few times. She is completely friendly and has never been aggressive, but I understand how the postal carrier would not know that so I make a point to keep her inside when I know packages are being delivered. Anyway, I called this office to see if it was not too late to have them re-attempt delivery since I need the contents in the package. The woman on the phone told me that my dog must be aggressive and when I made a point to tell her that she is not aggressive and was absolutely not outside at all today, she hung up the phone on me!!! I couldn't believe it. I called back and she would not pick up the phone at that point. I have tried to call back many times since then and she just lets it ring & ring. Finally at one point she picked up the phone only to immediately hang it back up before I even had a chance to say hello! I have complete proof using my home video surveillance system that no delivery was attempted and I look forward to going into the office and asking for the highest of supervisors. But why do I have a feeling I won't be directed to this person? I'm also dreading going to this facility because it takes 20 minutes just to have someone come to the service door. It is the worst service I have ever received - they simply do not care and are quite rude! read more
