This is the worst Post Office that I have ever been to, and that is saying something. The people working here are completely incompetent idiots. I was told that a CD is not media mail and they would not ship it at that rate in spite of me (and millions of other people) sending records, CDs, DVDs and books as media mail every day. The guy working there was rude and argued with me about it until I gave up and walked out. I even showed the miserable imbecile the USPS webpage that specifically says that CDs and DVDs are in fact examples of media mail. He then said that it is only media mail if it is a homemade CD or DVD. What kind of nonsense is this? Are books only considered media mail If one writes their own story in a notebook? Some people take their jobs far too seriously, and it is usually people who are inept at everything in life. read more

UPDATE MAY 20, 2024: This is a shout out to their Crossroads Post Office counter clerk, Rick, for his friendly attitude and service, when he helped me out today. His influence single-handedly caused me to bump up my Crossroads USPS rating from one star to two stars. I might well have bumped it up to three stars. But last week I received another misdelivered piece of mail that belongs to that other apartment in my building, whose number is very similar to mine. (I hand delivered myself). But that is my mail carrier's (or relief carrier's) bad. I am living in area code 98007 for only 5 weeks and they have already lost me two packages. One was expensive and a medical devise. The other one a decoration. I just learned about the medical devise issue and I know won't get any help because I have already talked to a supervisor about my decoration package. He said he was going to call me next day but it was already noon and he had not yet so I went to the post office to talk to him and he said he had not heard back from the mail carrier yet, probably the mail carrier had forgot to search. So they lost my package and then forgot to search? He said was going to contact the mail carrier back; afterwards he said the mail carrier was going to come in an hour or two to search for the package in my front door? I would have seen it. I was at home. People don't steal packages where I live, and I was walking in and out to my car. The package was never delivered! Just the day after my conversation with the supervisor I am learning my medical devise has also been lost in the mail! read more

I would NEVER go back to this USPS again!! I lost my receipt that has tracking number....my friend should had received her bday present couple days ago, so I really needed to find tracking number!! After I waited over an hour to talk to USPS customer service on the phone(yes I waited and waited...) I was told to go to local office to recover my tracking number. First, I went to Factoria location (I usually go to this location, so I thought I sent my package from here.) Ben and John helped me and they told me if I know exact date and time, they can try to recover tracking number for me. They are so helpful and took their time to try to find my package. ( These guys are the best! This is why I go to this post office.) THEN! I realized that I went to THIS post office to send my package that day..so I can straight go to the gym after. There were 4 people ahead of me and 2 windows were opened. THIS LADY MANAGER was just standing next to line with "quick kiosk" tag on her chest and asked me if I need some help. I told her my situation and she gave me confusing face and said "USPS don't provide a service to recover your tracking number." Then I told her that another USPS location Ben and John were trying to help me this morning. She goes "Nobody at this location know how to do that. Let me talk to them on the phone." She called Factoria USPS location and she was literally yelling at Ben on the phone. "Here is a customer who lost tracking number and did you help her? We, USPS don't provide service such a thing like that!! Let's see... ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR, FIVE, SIX, SEVEN!! (She was pointing finger at people and start counting loudly!!) There are Seven people waiting and she is holding up the line!! Line is up to the door!" She was so RUDE and her attitude was disgusting. She shouldn't be manager since she doesn't even know how to provide kind customer service and treat people like that. I was so embarrassed and I feel so bad to Ben and John. Usually I'm complaining about long lines at the post office but this time I want to show some gratitude for the patience they had with me. I wanted to mail some seeds and didn't know how much the postage would cost me. I took my sealed envelope and my page of stamps and the lady in the front helped me through. I personally felt like I was now one of those people clogging the line but she never expressed any impatience and kindly guided me through the process. Not sure if I can ask for more. read more

I like this post office because of the self-kiosk that's open I believe 24/7. Buy boxes/tape for cheaper at Dollar Tree (12 x 11 x 2) or Fred Meyer/Walmart/Office Depot $2-$5 (small to medium boxes), buy bubble wrap at Daiso for $2-3, then ship it off here. The self kiosk measures, weighs and prints a label for you. Or better yet, have a pre made label and ship it off here. This is my favorite Post Office to visit on the Eastside, and 3 stars is still only the highest I can review it with. Yes, it can be slightly faster than some of the other locations, but you'll still most likely have to wait at least ten minutes. The service itself has not ever been particularly friendly or welcoming. In fact, I was criticized by one of the employees on picking the wrong type of box for my postage. Priority, flat rate, bring your own box... they all are very similar to me. The parking lot can be a disaster if you end up coming during a peak hour. There's a drive thru drop off box and a small lot in front. If you end up passing all the spots and find there's nothing there, you can't just circle around through the drop off lane... you have to turn left onto 8th and then turn left again into the parking lot. At this point, there's most likely already a line of cars on 8th piled up waiting to turn in. I'll end up returning because it's close by and slightly faster and less miserable than the other locations. However, I would highly recommend going in the morning or mid-day, versus right when people are getting off of work. read more

Reposting my review to this business listing for the Crossroads post office location. This is my neighborhood post office. Location is conveniently across from Crossroads Mall. This is a fairly busy location. If you are just dropping off mail, they have a couple drive through mailboxes. Parking lot could be a bit bigger, but it is fine. It does get full on the weekends and especially during the holidays. This location offers post boxes and has a Automated Postal Center machine, which I use most of the time. I usually just mail out small packages here so the APC is a huge timesaver. Although it can be a bit of a pain waiting for the technology challenged to finish their transactions. Yes, there are a few even in Bellevue. Don't usually need to go to the post office counter, except for the occasional Media Mail (unavailable at APC) package. Service when I do need to though has been fine. It is just the wait I don't like. Sometimes the lines extends past the inside doors of the post office. I like the location and convenience (good hours) this post office offers. However over the last few years, due to USPS financial woes there have been many postage rate increases. The cost to mail a padded package containing a basic music CD has jumped by well over 50% for example. Apparently padded envelopes are charged a higher rate than an envelope containing documents. There should really only be one rate by weight in my opinion. I was a bit peeved when my package once was returned to sender due to a rate increase this week. I had bought the postage at the APC on the day before the price change, but they sent it back to me since they processed it under the new rate. Ridiculous. Just be forewarned that there are different rates based on the size and shape of the package when you use the APC to buy postage. I like the convenience of this location, but these constant postage increases make me want to reconsider my shipping options. read more

Clerk #31 as stated on my receipt was rude and bordering on hostile when I simply asked her a question about renewing. I went there to send some mail. One of the clerks was welcoming and friendly and helped me get things in order. When I came back to submit the mail, I had to go to another clerk. This other clerk was rather the opposite of the other: very rude and intimidating. What a contrast! Because there is good and bad in this place, I give half the full rating (rounded to 3, I guess). Sure the employees can have to deal with a lot of people and such. But this time it wasn't busy. Also, it doesn't hurt to try and be more friendly toward the customers and help them out. Had to send a package to Bremerton today. Monique was extremely helpful. It was only after I'd left the window and was on my way to the car that I remembered I'd wanted to mail it priority and I had forgotten to do that. I went back in and waited for her window to be open again, and explained that I'd intended to mail priority in order to get it there by the weekend. She was able to get the package out of the bin and let me pay the additional money it cost, re-labled the package and printed a new receipt. I really appreciate her being able to do this. The folks at this post office location were very quick and efficient. What more can you ask really? I asked for supplies necessary to mail some things off to a different state, taking into consideration the weather from where the package was departing and being sent off to. The clerk was friendly and helped me with the entire process. She gave me shipping options and what not. After that, she approximated the delivery date and time for me. On the day, shortly after the estimated time of delivery that was given to me, I decided to track the package. It had arrived at its destination without any problems. Efficiency and accuracy! Terrible. The people there are always overworked, exhausted, abrupt and rude. Went in there today to ship a small package in a flat rate box, which I had prepaid for. When I asked the lady how I can put the box together she abruptly said I can't help you pack it. I told her sharply I didn't ask her to help me pack it. Then she told me to go figure it out on my own at a desk. The other clerk called me in to help me but he was even more rude asking me to "hurry up" because they're closing and even claiming the register is closed. He could clearly tell I was working as fast as I can. The clerks that run this location obviously couldnt care less and were trying to close a few minutes before the actual close time of 6 p. M unfortunately this is one of few USPS post offices serving this area so we have little choice but to deal with these pricks, but hey we don't have to like it. read more

I am very disappointed at the service at this branch! Monique has the worse customer service I have ever had the miss fortune to f come across! She is rude, abrupt and had no intention of helping anyone. I have miss placed my shipment, my hubby went in to try fetch it, and all Monique can say is she cannot help him, she does not even ask for the tracking number!! I worked at international couriers and I know a tracing number is everything, but she is convinced that she cannot find the information using one. Came here recently, on tax day, with a bunch of other people, and some had their taxes and some had packages to mail out. Ok, reminder to self - Tax day means crazy lines! And with crazy people like me who need to send out their taxes last minute and even crazier people who come on tax day to send out packages on tax day!! I was free a bit before lunch and got back a bit after lunch ended. So, I guess it was not that bad. It definitely could've been worse! I just dislike how the line was massive, there are at least three other open windows with no workers there (only two were present), but you could hear all this commotion in the back of people! Either they need to hire more people to be at the front or they need to start cross training! lol But government workers... it's hard to add more to their oh so long job descriptions (not really... oh, and I've been a government employee so I know). I had ordered a pair of earrings and the delivery date was scheduled for Monday 7/10, and I kept checking and that didn't change. On Monday I checked the status and it said it had been delivered that day and I went home and they weren't there. The next day the delivery status changed to having been delivered 7/8 which it was not as that was a Saturday and I was home all day. I live in very nice area where no one would steal a package and when I tried calling about this I pretty much got hung up on. My package had said "in transit" on the web site for at least two weeks, so I called in to ask if they knew where the package was. After waiting on hold for over 10 minutes, the lady on the other end was very short with me, and was unable to answer the question of where the item was. I was cordial the entire time. After insisting that I contact the seller of the item, to which I responded, "how would she know where the item is?" she hung up on me. I had only been talking to her for about 30 seconds. I knew this USPS didn't serve my zipcode but I couldn't get through my local USPS (the line was always %#^%$^ busy)... I just wanted to know if my local USPS had any other number I could reach or if this location could look up the package details online. Worst service I ever received! Our mail hasn't been picked up in 3 days! So I called this location and the guy was very rude to me and said he couldn't help me and gave me a number that was disconnected. I called back and he gave me the same number and I told him many times that it has been disconnected. So finally once he realized what I was saying he went over my mailing address and said a report has been sent then hung up quickly. I wish we could get a new mail service because the people they hire these days are lazy and don't care about there job. read more
