What is going on at this place???…read more I have lived in Maple Valley now for seven months. No matter where I have lived before. I have never had problems with postal deliveries. That has all changed. In a short period of time. By mail, tracking software, shows packages and mail delivered on a daily basis, but that is far from the truth. For example, I am showing that two packages were delivered earlier this week. Yes, you guessed it. They are nowhere to be found. Local media has been alerted to this and has even done a story recently. The back room of the post office is packed wall-to-wall with packages that have not yet been delivered. Good thing it's not the holiday season when people count on things they bought being delivered. SMH.

How in the hell are we supposed to get to our locked mailbox if we work Monday to Friday? What the hell now Post Office? No signs on your doors today. Went to pick up my mail at this post office 4 days later & there was none. They kept delivering it to my locked neighborhood mailbox. Today I was able to get locksmith to open & replace the lock. He found mail in my box even though it wasn't supposed to be delivered there. Went to this post office today to stop my request to deliver my mail to post office & they couldn't even find my request nor was there any mail being held for me. Such a disappointing experience. They have a 'who cares' attitude too.

That said, I do appreciate that the lobby remains open after business hours and offers a self-service kiosk, which is very convenient for those of us who need to ship packages after work. On my most recent visit, however, there was only one self-service machine available. The customer ahead of me was entering shipping information, and the kiosk was occupied for more than 20 minutes. Since the space appears large enough to accommodate another machine, adding a second kiosk would significantly improve the experience and reduce wait times during busy periods. The after-hours self-service option is a great feature, but its usefulness is limited when there's only one machine available. I hope USPS considers adding additional kiosks here--and perhaps at other locations as well--to better serve customers who rely on self-service shipping.
