Been to a few different Renton post offices and this one is the best. Easy to get to, decent parking, supplies usually well-stocked, lines are not bad or they move relatively quickly if they're long. The best thing about this place is the dark-haired middle aged woman that runs the check out. Very efficient, professional, and kind. The other PO near Fairwood had a guy barking orders like a TSA agent, no thank you, this isn't Desert Storm, calm yo self. read more

Livid. How is it 3 years later and this place still sucks SO bad? Certified letter was to be here awhile ago, we looked into it, "attempted delivery, notice left". NO effing notice on our door, no notice in the mailbox. It is a CERTIFIED LETTER!! We looked at our cameras, no attempt was made, at all. Unbelievable. They messed up a certified letter for us in the past, crazy important information that we HAD to mail in, per USPS, no notice that it came back to USPS, I noticed after following the tracking it came back, went into this location, said it was the wrong address, LADY it is a PO Box that USPS gave us..."oh", the person fixed it but how irresponsible and irritating. How is this place still standing? Government job, can work and be the crappiest 'business' possible but still have a job. We DO NOT use USPS unless we have to, no thanks. read more

Had a large box (about 25lbs) come through from Amazon that never arrived, checked online and it said "Delivery attempted - Front door / Driveway was not accessible." at 7:46PM. Checked my mailbox, no notice in it. This is at an apartment complex where it is easy to access my first floor door for delivery. I've had large and heavy items delivered to the front door without issues for months prior by competitors. Never been an issue prior with deliveries (only once before with USPS in the last year) and it is illegal to block the entrance to the place. The Amazon site said they would attempt to deliver it again. Nothing happened and no notice. 4 days later I file a complaint with USPS online since nothing is happening and no one picks up if you call this office number. Same day I get a templated email response from supervisor at this office "There should have been a small white card, 3" X 4", and I will address this with the carrier today. You do have a large Amazon parcel on our shelves, marked notice left for pickup." I respond asking if it can be delivered (I just had abdominal surgery a few weeks prior) or what next steps are. No response and I see that same day on Amazon it is now marked as "Lost by carrier - undeliverable" about an hour later. Seems a bit odd. We are now at a week later, I have to take time off of work, drive across town, stand in line, pick up the Amazon package and haul it home. Will be doing everything I can to avoid having packages sent through USPS going forward. Really surprised and have done everything I could to support their efforts through the pandemic while bringing them service. If this is what it has come to, a real shame. read more

If it weren't for the self-service kiosk at this location, I would rate them much lower. Long story kinda short... The middle aged, YT woman with the curls and glasses has a terrible attitude, most definitely hates the job and her life. I get it.. working throughout the Pandemic is exhausting and I have compassion for essential workers, but come on. My transaction wasn't even complicated, I just needed to buy postage to mail out a package. She provided next to nothing service - without a smile or a greeting at that. Plus she yells at you and is condescending. I suggest she find another profession and put down the smokes! read more

PRICELESS!! A 2.6 rating is considered a glowing testimony about this government agency that SHOULD be completely revamped from top to bottom. Failed delivery of mail AND packages, carriers who simply do NOT care how/when/IF consumers receive the levels of service that this GOVERNMENT agency is bound to provide! On January 6th, one of these people took it upon themselves to change the delivery method of a package that was paid to be DELIVERED, NOT changed to "Hold, at customer request" in order to allow GOVERNMENT PAID employees to fraudulently revise US mail/packages! I have reported this fraud to the appropriate agencies and am awaiting follow up. I will update consumers, once I know more, so that you have the opportunity to report this office if you are also experiencing substandard/lackluster service. I FULLY intend on pursuing the culprit that felt entitled enough to commit this fraudulent act to the fullest extent available! read more

Really impressed with this post office during the holiday season. I was pressed for time, needed to deliver boxes that were too big to use in the drop box and the line to the counter was long. I give kudos to the females on duty that day (I wish I caught their names). They were fast and efficient making the wait really short for a holiday pre-Christmas drop off. read more

Wonderful service and cheerful employees. Each time I've been there (even when super busy) I've been treated to upbeat and professional service, and witnessed others receiving the same. Additionally, I'm disabled, and was offered gracious above-and-beyond help that I truly appreciated. It's a post office...this review compares it to others I've visited, not to a spa. I was relieved my visit was so quick and pain free, and that the employees were so friendly and efficient. Seeing some of the other reviews prompted me to write...seems like a few people had bad experiences, and those are the folks that reviewed. For me--I've witnessed nothing but awesomeness. read more

I have an eBay business. I ship packages from this location every day except Sunday. Recently, I had a package coming to me and the tracking showed "disposed of" and "incorrect address." I double checked the address and it's correct. So, I came in to see if I could find out more for the company who sent my package and was told to wait. Thirty mins later I have no new information and I've been snapped at by one of the tellers. I also heard another teller yelling at a guy trying to figure out how many stamps he needed. Rude tenders pretty much every time you go. Avoid this location if you can. The employees clearly don't like there jobs so they are mean to the people coming in trying to ship things out. If you ask a question they will belittle you. I hardly write Yelp reviews but after multiple sour interactions I figured I should. Grey hair lady is especially rude, I didn't catch her name. Definitely won't be coming back. Also they will charge you for tape or any other small thing you might need so come prepared. UPS is a little pricer but they offer much better customer service. read more

I come here on a pretty regular basis now, and I'm thankful I always am able to just dart in and dump my package and go without having to wait in the awful lines. Every time I run in there is usually only one or two employees at the front counters, and a line nearly to the door. I've only needed assistant twice, and both times have taken forever and both employees were not very friendly. This place needs to be cleaned, inside and out. There is always a lot of dust and debris all over the floors inside, and the little kiosk to grab extra empty boxes is always unorganized and disastrous. I was especially sad today when I pulled into the parking lot and saw an older woman talking on the phone, and picking up trash - from your sidewalk and front entry. She was NOT an employee. Why should some older woman be doing part of what should be basic upkeep from employees? Hire some sort of person to take care of the grounds, customers should not be feeling the need to do this. read more

I called at 1:15pm on 2018/02/20 to get help with the mails I have not received in the past 4 weeks. The guy on the phone did not know how to do customer service, keep telling me one suggestion over and over, even with more information I provided the suggestion doesn't make a lot of sense (at least to me). He eventually hang up the phoin the middle of the conversation. Update: I followed up with 2 visits at the location. The 2nd time the manager, who was on the phone with me previously, promised to come to my place to check. A few hours later, he came by and helped me find all the lost mails which were delivered at a wrong mailbox. At least my problem is resolved. Thanks! read more

As with most post offices, they are quite busy. The location is close to me so I think it's convenient but since its not on any of the main roads like Petrovitsky or Benson I can imagine it would be a difficult location to find for someone who isn't familiar with the area. The workers here are all usually pretty nice and everything is organized and orderly. I don't like that there isn't much parking in the front and a lot of the people who use the lane to just drop off mail don't actively look to see if there's a car exiting the post office. I have a small business on the internet and ship over twenty packages a month at this branch, the Cascade Fairwood on 116th. I find the workers there very helpful, very efficient and very friendly. Sometimes I have to wait in line longer than five minutes because there is only one worker. I think their current workers are overworked because they need more. They advertise employment opportunities with no response which is not their fault. I will continue shipping at this sight. read more

To whom it may concern, The person who helped me on that day, i think her name is "GAY" at the clerk #14. She is very unprofessional, very impolite and very disrespectful to customer when she served me! She yelled at me when i try to ask her which method is the cheapest way for shipping and she is super extremely rude. I have no idea why she did that two different times to me with her so rude attitude when she served me! I didn't do anything to lets her hate me seriously! In my opinion, If the customers didn't know, they should help them or tell them what to do, not yelling and treat them with the worst way like that. She should be nicer with customers. I'm wondering why they have direct contact number for this building but no one ever answers. I've had a package that has said it's been out for delivery for the last two business days and one weekend day being the 24th US PS won't give me any updates because I have an inquiry out on it but I don't understand is how does a package stay out for delivery for a total of 16+ hours with no update to the customer or a way of getting ahold of anyone helpful? I have a lot of trouble with this post office. I have a small business and ship from my home frequently. I place orders for my boxes to pick up but they routinely forget to pick them up. This inconveniences my clients and makes me look like I am late when it is the post office's fault. I have tried to speak to them several times but the supervisor always seems to be not there or busy when I ask. When I call, no one answers the phone and you can't leave a message. Parking spots. Lots of Parking spots. Yes folks, this location has all the parking spots your little heart desires. Clearly, this location could benefit from a remodel, but these things don't really matter when you just want to mail a package. There are roughly 4-5 attendants working in the main post office which helps reduce long line queues. There are also many different shipping materials available for purchase, more so than your average branch. read more

With covid going on and ordering through Amazon and such, I've found out why I'm not receiving any of my packages. I've had to come out and pick it up from them directly. My apartment leasing office does not accept packages because if covid, but are to direct USPS to drop off packages to the front doorsteps. USPS denies that request and instead returns packages back to the offices and when I confront them about it, they straight up just say that other the offices takes them or they won't deliver it to the front doors. I've multiple times been confused on why my orders don't get dropped off. I literally waited multiple times for them to drop it off or even drive by so I can go up to them with ID to pick it up, but instead I get an email saying something along the lines of "delivery attempted" but really they never showed up here. I've sprinted across my complex and the complex across looking for the USPS truck but they don't show up. It's an issue that needs to be addressed for those who are handicapped and have to go out and get their packages. read more

It's never the right box, the right label, the right postage, the right anything. This is difficulty of shipping with USPS in general, but the tellers clearly purposely make it difficult to ship a simple package. I use the Self Service machine and the package drop off box at this location to avoid any human interaction. Otherwise, they will give you crap for something, anything about your package to not accept it. read more

Standard US Postal. They have a lil bit of everything, has that "old" building scent. The staff is also the standard, somewhat friendly. Service was quick with my experience. However, it was my first time going to a postal office because I have never really had to sent out a package before. When I went, the lady (she was an older Asian lady) asked me what stamps to choose from. Since I have never gone before, I did not know that I didn't even need to purchase any stamps for my package because the packaging stamp was already included! I was stick with a pack of stamps that aren't very cheap knowing that I wasn't going to send another package any time soon. The way she worded the question made it seem like I had to buy the stamps. Another one of our packages delivered to the wrong address again! Tracking stated my package was delivered at 11:47am but when I checked our mailbox it was not there. Went to the Cascade post office to find out where the carrier delivered it and of course they were no help. I was asked for the tracking number by 3 different employees who were of no help. Supervisor can't get the gps tracking program to work so they call the mail carrier to have him find the package. Never heard back from anyone and still no package. Called the company to have them send me a replacement. Fourth time in 6 months we have had packages lost by the post office. We also get our neighbors mail in our box. I dread when a company sends me something via the USPS due to the post offices incompetence. No wonder they are losing money. read more
