The artichokes, mushrooms, avocado, brie cheese, and sundried tomatoes on this sandwich were the exact blending of flavors I was craving. Also, I didn't know the sandwich was going to be so big. If I had known, I might not have ordered the cup of soup. I tried their chicken spaetzl soup which tastes just like your regular chicken noodle soup but with mini dumplings instead of noodles. Definitely enjoyed my first visit here and am looking forward to coming back! Maybe the only thing I'd suggest is more avocado in the sandwich. We'd been eating out a lot and we wanted some simple, fresh and delishious. Urban Cafe fit the bill nicely. When you walk in there is a menu board and then you walk up to the counter to put your order in. Then they will give you a buzzer for pick up when ready. I had the bbq tri tip and my wife had the cranberry bree. Both sandwiches come with a mixed green salad topped with some flavorful mandarin orange slices and refreshing basalmic vinegar dressing. My bbq tri tip sandwich was really tasty it had pepper jack cheese, house made cole slaw and chipolte ailoi. It was delish! And the bread is freshly made and baked every 15 minutes. My wife had the cranberry brie and it had roasted turkey, bree, chutney, arugula and herb ailoi. She loved it and I had a bite and it was delishious too. Hers came with a salad as well and she got a cup of sausage kale soup. They have about 5 kinds of incredible cookies next to the order counter. They are kept on a warmer and a must have! We had a white chocolate with cranberry and I believe I tasted walnuts as well. They have craft sodas and some nice teas. The restaurant has only been open no more than six months. It's very clean and well lighted. The service is excellent. Parking is no problem plenty of it. For two sandwiches you're looking at a 20 dollars bill. Well worth it and delishious! read more

My salad was tasty and fulfilling. The thing that I don't get is the packaging for delivery services. How nice it would be if your items were sealed like they do at Starbucks and The Cheesecake Factory! My drink was totally exposed and the driver didn't have it with him when he got out of the car. I had to ask him for my drink. However, I didn't feel comfortable drinking it. Go the extra mile for your customers safety and seal your bags. My friend and I were in the area and wanted to try this place out based on fellow Yelper reviews. They carry a variety of sandwiches, salads and soups. I would say that there aren't very many customizable vegan options. The California sandwich can be made vegan without the aioli sauce and without cheese. Some of their daily soups are vegan friendly but you should probably call and find out. Their house made salad can be made vegan without the cheese. You could probably customize the salads to not include diary or chicken but nearly all salads had chicken and/or cheese by default. I don't know if they lower the price if you omit the chicken. I ordered the California sandwich with the house salad and veganized it. When I asked about the daily soup, the organic Lentil and Chickpea soup, the cashier was able to verify that it was in fact vegan. I ended up trying a sample and although it was good, it had more of a stew texture and was spicy. The house salad without the cheese was descent and the California sandwich without aioli and cheese was still pretty good. I think the avocado really helps make this sandwich tasty. There was a hiccup in my order as they accidentally put aioli sauce in my sandwich. I approached the counter and they readily agreed to remake it but when they did, they forgot to bring my salad back with it!!! Boo! Anyhow, a few minutes later I got exactly what I had asked for and I was able to join my friend in eating lunch before she finished her food. Following that incident that staff made sure my order was okay by asking if I needed anything else. They carry a craft soda fountain and a lemonade fountain. Although, I opted for water since I've had too much sugar lately, lol. There's cute little saying along the walls and glass dividers. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. After you order, you get a buzzer that will go off indicating it's time to pick up your order. Nice little cafe style restaurant that will be giving Panera and Boudin competition. :) read more

Clean, friendly staff, and burst of flavored dishes!! As a vegetarian I always ask for recommendations and the girl cashier recommended a Tuscan because she was Vegan! She was super sweet (unfortunately I forgot to get her name but she was so nice and was really patient with me). She definitely gave me an AWESOME recommendation! My sandwich was amazing and has soooo much flavor in it! I cannot wait to come back! They also have a rewards program I think but you have to get their app for it which kind of sucks but if you're a regular and have room on your phone it's totally worth it! Other than that everyone was super friendly here and it was clean! Parking is good but I think it can get busy here and there! Definitely a must try if you come to Temecula! read more

My girlfriend and I stopped in Temecula for lunch while driving back from a bachelorette party in Palm Springs. After a weekend of unhealthy eating we were definitely craving some greens! I looked up healthy places on yelp and came across Cafe Urbane. You order from the counter and receive a buzzer to alert you when your food is ready- kind of like Panera. Our food was ready in about 5 minutes. They had plenty of seating both indoors and out. This is now one of my new favorite places! The cilantro chicken salad was absolutely delicious and exactly what I needed. Lots of juicy well-seasoned chicken. I am so excited that there is a location in San Diego! Came in excited to try this Farm to fresh place. I had the Cobb salad with tri tip added that was good. But my Wife's salad had a problem. She asked for the salsa to be put on the side and instead it was on it . Other item was put in a small cup. She went back and the food runner young lady basically argwith her that is what she ordered. I absolutely loved this cafe. After eating (veggie) burgers and pizza for a few days, we were looking for something light and healthy. Urbane Cafe fit the bill and had tons of vegetarian options. A lot of the meat dishes can be modified into vegetarian options by subbing grilled vegetables, such a simple but awesome concept! We decided on the Tuscan sandwich and the Mediterranean grain bowl. They informed me that they were out of brown rice and asked if quinoa was ok. No problem, I love quinoa too. The portions are large and both were delicious. The bowl was so fresh and had amazing flavors. The sandwich was hearty and the sauce worked perfectly with the vegetables. If I could give Urbane Cafe 6 stars, I would! They sell sandwiches, salads, and soups. All their sandwiches come on focaccia bread that they bake in-house. I ordered the pesto chicken sandwich, chips, drink, and a cookie. The sandwich was delicious, it had the perfect amount of pesto sauce. The cranberry cookie was to die for, honestly the best cookie I've ever had! It was warm and soft on the inside. The service was great! The girl at the register was kind and helpful. The manager, Mike, was very friendly and brought the food to my table. Next time, I would ask for a little more BBQ sauce in the sandwich but other than that, no complaints here. My mom order the turkey, Brie, and cranberry sandwich. It was THE BEST! Those flavors together made the sandwich such a treat. And it's like Thanksgiving in a sandwich, but with better cheese. Love this place! Been to the one in Encinitas with an excellent service and now happy to report its at this location too. Everything I've eaten here so far has been delicious.
