We were done about an hour before our reservation time. We hoped to be accommodated earlier but saw the long line and crowd waiting as we drove by. We decided to run a couple small errands instead. We arrived about 10 minutes before our reservation. It was still busy, but there were not as many people waiting. The hostess was so warm and welcoming. She let us know that the customers at our designated table were almost done and that they will have it ready in just a few minutes. Unfortunately, those customers decided to linger much longer. Thirty minutes later, they were still hanging around. We fully understood that this was not by any fault of the restaurant. We continued to wait patiently. The hostess was very apologetic and was trying to work out a solution which led to the Floor Manager (Karla) getting involved. We were eventually seated at another table, with the option to move should the other table become available. Karla then took the time to apologize for the wait and unfortunate first impression. As we got started with drinks and a pastry for the daughter, the other table opened. The hostess immediately came to move us. It all went smoothly from there. Table service was casual and attentive. We started with the Chocolate Almond Croissant and the Baguette & Bordier Butter. The daughter tried the Iced Matcha Latte. For our entrées -- Shakshuka, Patty Melt and Brioche Eggs Benedict (with salmon). I was eager to try the Potato Gravlax, but it was sold out. :( Everything was so, so delicious! Fresh and flavorful. Lovely presentations. Very good portions. As we were finishing, Karla came to our table again to express her gratitude for our patience and understanding. She gave me her business card with an offer to contact her directly should we need another reservation. On our way out, I stopped to compliment the sweet young hostess for a job well done. Wonderful experience. Beautiful decor. I would give Oh La La 10 stars if I could! We will most certainly be back!

Everything, and I mean everything, was so delicious. One of the best dim sum places I've been to. The pricing of the items ranged from $8-$10 per item we ordered which is expensive but as a treat every once in a while and for the amount of time and effort that goes into making dim sum, it was worth it. I've tried making dim sum at home and it is so hard! Pricing breakdown: $8 items: - har gow (4 pcs) - siu mai (4 pcs) - black bean spare rib - pan fried turnip cake - egg custard $9 items: - chicken feet $10 items: - shrimp rice noodle roll I think they no longer have the tripe on their menu anymore bc I couldn't find it on their online ordering. Also their chili oil was priced at $0.98, which was kind of small, I would do without it next time. ---- The parking was really tough, luckily I had another person with me drop me off then I ordered and then we double parked waiting for it to be finished. The inside of the restaurant felt like an elevated dim sum place, things were neat and a darker ambiance which felt more intimate if you decided to eat in. We took ours to-go and it was still so good! ---- Overall: if I'm ever back in Pasadena I'll be sure to stop by for dim sum, classic dishes with an elevated taste, pricey but worth it

This…read moretime, I had about an hour to kill while waiting for my appointment at the Apple Store in Pasadena. I was walking around thinking about what to eat. The I saw the Noodle Street sign. Of course, I went in because I already know the quality of their food. I always find their noodles fresh and chewy, and the dishes are rich in texture and flavor. But this time, since I was by myself, I didn't order a noodle dish because I was just by myself. So, I ordered the beef roll, which is also to die for! Just really enjoy their food overall. If you've never tried Noodle Street before, definitely check out their menu and give their noodles a try. This particular location was clean, the staff was nice, and the wait wasn't long when I arrived. I would definitely come back again! I'd like to add one more detail. While I was waiting for my food, one of the staff members, possibly the manager, Justin, came over and asked if I'd like to have a small bowl of broth on the side. I said yes and was impressed by that offer. Why? This young man understood that I had ordered only the beef roll, which is a dry dish. Having a little warm broth on the side made it much easier and more enjoyable to eat. I had water, though, but I personally never drink water before or after my meal, so the broth was definitely a perfect complement to the beef roll. This is the first time in my Noodle Street eating history that I've been offered something simple to enhance my dining experience. A small gesture that I think is worth mentioning, as it showed that he was attentive and had very good common sense when it comes to customer service. Thumbs up to him, and an extra star from me for this location.

A great casual place for pho with very quick service. A lot of people were here with friends or meeting with family. The food was all very delicious. I will say the bun bo hue was not very spicy even after I added all of the chili paste and I am usually only able to handle medium spice. I could have asked for more but it was fine because the flavor of the broth was so good as it was. Don't forget to add a little hoisin sauce, sriracha, and lime of course! The eggrolls were crispy and the crab and pork flavors didn't overpower each other. The sauce added a nice tartness. The passion fruit tea was sweet and flavorful, it is house-made. Don't expect passion fruit seeds in it as some places have though. I will most likely be back :-)

05/16/26 Saturday…read more Stopped by around 2 PM and it was quite empty so they allowed us (4) to be seated while we waited for another friend to join us. Upon entering, it felt a lot more modern and hipster than the Nha Trang in San Gabriel which feels more like a hole in the wall place. I had just gone to the Nha Trang in San Gabriel the weekend before so it was quite the shock to see all the items $2 higher. The Bun Bo Hue here doesn't include the blood cake for free like the one in San Gabriel. Instead, it costs $1.50 extra. However, they offer unlimited noodle refills here but you can't take any of it home. Do note veggie refills cost extra too. The noodles here are thicker than that in San Gabriel. They were chewy. I would say the broth seems more salty and a little less flavorful, maybe because I didn't add the chili sauce on the side. I do like that they put it on the side since I don't handle spice well. The highlight Tom Hoa Tien (shrimp and taro egg rolls). They were so crispy and fresh. The shrimp paired really well with the creamy taro. The sauce was a nice touch too though it tastes great without as well. Service was good, but I would've preferred if they offered some more napkins. Also, it was unclear if we could take home the soup (with some leftover noodles) if we got noodle refills without being charged since they mentioned we'd be charged if we take it home. In the end, we ate all the noodles just to be safe. Street parking is limited in the area. We parked in a nearby paid parking structure (Play House Parking). Overall, I much prefer the San Gabriel location.
