I am so happy they opened this location! My favorite lunch spot! The chimichurri steak sandwich with a side of fresh arugula salad with mandarin oranges is amazing as well as their tomato bisque soup with a side of amazing soft focaccia bread that our baby had. The second we walked in, the entire staff greeted us, and the manager Rob kindly introduced himself to us at our table. Their fountain drinks are unique and so good. We had the dragonfruit agua fresca. Their warm baked cookies are delicious. Also, this place is extremely clean and has a nice vibe with music. We can't wait to come back as regulars and try more items on the menu. read more

I first found out about this chain when I was visiting the SLO area. The food was very good and I really liked that I didn't end up feeling bloated after having their bowls, which tends to happen with other restaurants. I was psyched to find out that this OC location existed! Service is always friendly. I've never dined in, only takeout orders, so I can't say much about the ambiance but it has looked very clean whenever I walk in there. I was sad to see Rubio's was gone but knowing this cafe took over, it lessened the pain. read more

I'm obsessed! The food here is amazing! So FRESH, so flavorful, & healthy too?! Just an FYI, I'm not a vegetarian, but this place might make me wanna become one with all the choices they have! Walked in on a whim to the one in San Diego 2 days ago & tried the Portobello Mushroom Sandwich & let my husband try a bite, to which his response was, "That is actually so good I would order that!" Was so excited to find out that one just opened here a month ago so I had to go back for more today! I ordered the Mediterranean Bowl that comes with focaccia bread. It's SO yummy! My hubby got the SoCal Sandwich that comes with a side salad & a delicious vinaigrette. He said it was actually too big for him to finish! And apparently they are known for their freshly baked cookies that they keep baking throughout the day so they're always hot & fresh! Had to try one & couldn't resist nibbling on it while I was waiting for my order- they're just like Granny used to make! :) The place is as clean & fresh as the food tastes & all the employees are super friendly! Everything was absolutely delicious! The chimchurri steak had incredible flavor and and the bread alone that they make in house was so dang good even on its own. The lemonade actually taste fresh and not salty like other places and can't forget the cookie too. One of the softest cookies I've ever had! . This place has it all. Great food and amazing service. We wanted to try a new place and the pictures looked amazing so we went last night and were blown away. We got a club, pastrami, and chimichurri steak sandwiches and a Cobb and Cafe salad. As we were enjoying our food the owner came by and asked if we liked our food. She asked about each order specifically so my wife mentioned that her pastrami had a strong pepper flavor she wasn't fond of. Mind you my son and I tasted it and we didn't think it was bad. But the owner said she would make my wife something else. Her reason? "I want you to be happy". That is service above and beyond! On the way out she handed us a couple of cookies that were delicious too. I can't say enough good things about this place. We will definitely be back. Immediately welcomed by all staff and a huge smile from the girl at cashier! I got a bigger order than most so I ended up waiting around 25 minutes but half way through Rob came over and offered me a drink cup as I wait! Such hospitality and kindness here at this location! To start off, I've never really been the type of person that leaves reviews for places, but I just HAD to come on here and give this place 5 stars as well as quickly rant about just how amazing they are! My partner and I were really craving a good salad to combat this intense heat we've all been experiencing lately and were instantly intrigued by this place because of the menu and overwhelming amount of positive reviews! I ended up getting the Santa Maria BBQ Chicken salad and let me just say, this was easily one of the BEST salads I have ever had! Each component was fresh, full of flavor, and worked together beautifully to create an exceptional salad! One of my favorite parts was the chicken, which was sliced into thin strips and perfectly cooked--not dry at all! Aside from the food, the service was impeccable from the workers and inside of the restaurant was very clean and classic looking! I will absolutely be coming back here asap for that Santa Maria BBQ Chicken salad again--I cannot stop thinking about it! Go and support this awesome place if you haven't already, it's so worth it! Had such a great experience at Urbane Cafe in Orange today. The inside of the restaurant is really nice, clean, and has a fresh new feel that makes the whole place super inviting. Cody was really helpful from the moment we walked in and took the time to recommend a sandwich for my husband with the tofu substitute, and it turned out to be amazing. We really appreciated how thoughtful he was with his suggestions. I also want to highlight Korrea, who prepared our sandwiches with so much care and even checked in on us after we finished eating to make sure everything tasted good. It is really nice to see that kind of genuine service. And the cookies deserve their own shoutout because they were fresh, soft, and honestly some of the best cookies we have had in a long time. Overall, the food was delicious, the service was warm, and the clean and welcoming atmosphere made the whole visit even better. We will definitely be coming back. read more
