Yummy, fresh fast casual option in St Paul! Super easy to order and customize on the iPads. Customer service was super friendly and welcoming. My order took a bit longer than usual because it was made with the wrong base as first, but everything is made fresh to order and they ended up giving me the messed-up order for free which was so nice! Tons of searing and street parking isn't too hard to find nearby.

We happened into this great lunch spot on a sleepy and snowy Saturday while exploring the European Christmas market and were served nothing but the best customer service from Dan, the new GM. As we were the only folks in the space, he gave us the grand tour in helping us understand how ordering works, what they offer, and all of the options available for purchase food. The food was delicious! Both my husband and I finished all of everything we ordered and were so grateful for everything being so freshly made! We got to spend some time with Dan talking about the state of the business and how they are helping revive a local downtown building, which was cool to hear about the forward moving plans. We also ended up talking a lot about personal travel experiences which was a nice personable touch! Overall super excited to see some delicious food come to downtown and the revival of some of the historical buildings. We definitely come back again and again!

This little GEM is a must!!!!!!!!!!!! I ordered doordash and needed to find someplace to eat that was opened downtown St. Paul. So very glad I did. The website to order from does not do the food justice at all. However I got the potstickers( these might be the best in the cities!) great is an understatement! Then ordered some undo noodles which was create your own... hmmm cool. Quick delivery- popped open the container which where still hot and full flavor explosion of great delight!!!!! Fantastic! Only drawback was kinda $$$ for 1 - $36. However I will be back and with friends!

Wings - Boneless - 6 CT, Blackberry Habanero

Urban Wok will be a one and done for me. We stopped in for take out dinner and learned it was Wing Wednesday - wings are $0.75. They weren't worth it. We tried a 6 pc boneless wing in both Korean BBQ and Blackberry Habanero. The coating was thick and mushy, no crispiness whatsoever. The sauce coating was tasty yet heavy. The Blackberry Habanero flavour was the best thing about the order - nice heat and sweet. The Korean BBaq flavor was a glorified ketchup. The chicken under the coating is fine - seemed to be breast meat and tender, but disguised by far too much mushy coating. To-go packaging is recyclable so that's nice to see. Ambiance is minimalist but pleasant, although the music was quite loud and polarizing for us. We won't return.

It's close to the Amtrak station at least.

If it's late and you're in downtown St. Paul, you could do worse. But also, you could do better if you'd planned a little and lost track of time because now this is the only thing thats open. Good job. Sometimes food is just a thing you need to stave off starvation for another day, and I think this place falls into that category. You'll probably find something you like on this menu, and I hope you enjoy it.

Steak stir fry, but no steak!

I never order from here because I know, but thought I'd try one last time, I ordered steak stir fry. They forgot the steak, it was just a soggy, greasy, container of rice and some vegetables.

The spring roll sauces are excellent too-there's additional spice additives on the table if you dare. I really enjoyed my Pad Kra Pao with Beef. Great service today from Musar-she warned us about the authentic spiciness of our dishes & what level spice we could handle! We had leftovers to bring home. Had the Fresh Spring Rolls With Noodle and Shrimp, Papaya Salad Thai Style, Hot Pot Seafood and Thai Fried Rice. There was only 3 of us and we over ordered, as usual. Fresh Spring Rolls With Noodle and Shrimp - had mango & avocado inside, would be so much better if the mango and avocados were cold. Came with two sauces nuoc nam and Peanut sauce. Papaya Salad Thai Style - made the mistake of ordering this medium spicy. I overestimated how much spice I can take. But it was good, had great flavor and had nice crispy pork cracklings on top. Hot Pot Seafood - the broth for this was so good would be really perfect on a really cold day. Thai Fried Rice - this was just OK tasted like regular fried rice. Would definitely go back if we're in the area again.

I was born and raised on Oahu, just moved to MN a handful of years ago and I'm always looking for food that reminds me of home. And this is one of them! Even the prices remind me of home?? I'm so impressed with the delicious food at such an amazing price point - you hardly see that in MN. Ramen is always soooo over priced, but not at Staff Meeting! We had the tonkotsu ramen, mom's fried rice, and the wings. All absolutely delicious and I'd get them all again. I wish they had the ribs, I was hoping to try it! There were other great options too! So this would be a solid date spot or meeting with friends so everyone can get something they like. There is a fair amount of seating inside and a fair amount of seating outside on a patio. There really isn't a view for the patio. There are free parking lots across the street though! Service: This is where they lost a star from us. The woman who took our order had no energy, wasn't very friendly and just looked annoyed we were ordering. I had heard good things about the service, so this was a bummer. The food: We got them take out wings and each got the pork ramen. The wings are very good, but best in twin cities? No. Are they worth getting? If you love a crunchy wing, then yes! The ramen had the most flavorful broth!! Oh my goodness it was rich and full of flavor! The noddles were cooked perfectly! Definitely one of the best ramen dishes I have had in the twin cities! We would have tried the ribs but they were all out of :( Definitely check this place out!

There is a good variety of Chinese, Hmong, and Vietnamese options (mainly pho). When I picked up my order the location appeared very clean and chill. I wouldn't mind eating in the restaurant. They also have kiosks where you order rather than ordering with a person, but someone was close to greet me and hand me my to go order. Onto the food, my friend ordered the sesame chicken with white rice. The portion is pretty good sized, unfortunately I don't have a photo. The sauce is very dark, and didnt really give sesame chicken as you'd probably expect from other sesame chickens in the twin cities. However it was a nice umami and cooked well. I enjoyed them, but it was not to my friend's taste nor what she expected. I ordered the braised pork belly special with purple sticky rice and Hmong sausage. The pork belly came with one egg, you can add more for an additional cost. The sausage comes with a spicy sauce, which you can also get extra for additional cost. The pork belly was soooo fatty. Like barely any fat rendering seems to have occurred and for being braised and fatty the meat was surprisingly dry/tough. The flavor was very sweet. It would have been nice for a bit more salty/umami to shine through. The egg was yummy, sauce penetrated the egg white pretty completely. Not sure how those are supposed to be in this particular dish, but it was a hard boil, not jammy or anything like that. The Hmong sausage was my favorite, very nice texture and flavor. The sauce is super spicy and pairs well with everything. The purple sticky rice was also perfect. Last, I added on a mango cheese bun which was fresh, lightly sweet, and delicious however it was not made from Vangz. It was pre packed from a St Paul bakery, so still local at least but I was expecting from their dessert options that those were made in house. Overall, the meal was decent. I purposely went with a special dish rather than a more popular choice because I like to show different options in my reviews. I hate when I can't find the whole menu in actual customer photos. If people are only ordering 5 items from you, that says something about your menu and overall food quality. I'm still curious to see what else Vangz has to offer before I write them off. I was torn between choosing the pork belly stir fry or crispy pork belly. I'd also love to try their pho. I will be back to try more and update my review :)

The restaurant was clean, quiet, and welcoming. I also appreciated the simple, thoughtfully curated menu. Instead of pages of choices, they focus on what they do best--noodles, curries, and appetizers--and it shows. I ordered the Pad See Ew at the "Shy" (Level 1) spice, and it was perfect for me. It was just the right amount of 'bite' for my taste buds. The spice levels are cleverly named, progressing to "First Step" "Brave," and "Native." The Thai tea was excellent--freshly steeped and clearly a labor of love. It took a little longer to prepare, but it was absolutely worth the wait. The mango sticky rice was to die for and the perfect way to end the meal. Combined with our friendly server and relaxed atmosphere, this was one of those unexpected finds that makes traveling so enjoyable. I'm so glad we decided to stroll in. Highly recommend!
