Can't beat the happy hour at Red Rabbit. It is served throughout the restaurant, which is large and can accommodate quite a few people. Delicious drinks and apps all discounted. Our server was phenomenal. She was attentive and speedy, during a very busy early evening. Can't wait to come back for the patio! There is parking in the back, but it fills quickly. Have a back up plan for street parking.

Finally was able to pop in and try the viral "Girl Dinner". It was the perfect portion for me and the perfect mix of pasta, salad and fries along with a hugo spritz we enjoyed it on the patio and had fab service from the staff. Would come back with more friends for a nice time. Parking available in the lot behind the restaurant and ample seating inside and out!

In need of a comforting meal? Look no further. @redrabbitmn in St. Paul is the spot with their fresh pastas and ingredients. Their fresh made noodles really elevate their pastas to a level of their own. This is a great place to meet up with friends, family, date night, all occasions. They have a cozy outdoors area to enjoy once patio season arrives soon! (Additional location in The North Loop) Go to love it items: Burrata Chicken Parmesan Fettuccine Alfredo Not pictured this evening but also dishes to love: Cavatelli (love this one) Bolognese I will definitely be making a later post once I get there for their amazing looking brunch. Came in to try the "Girl dinner" special for $20, available after 8pm Sun-Thur. It was an excellent deal! Includes Caesar salad, pasta, fries, and a spritz cocktail. All very tasty. My favorites were the spritz which was super refreshing and the tangy salad. Definitely worth checking out.

You'll always find me here for happy hour enjoying an espresso martini and likely a dozen oysters. I tried the Summerset(?) oysters this time and they were to die for. Also arguably the best gourmet cheese curds in the city??? It was the day before valentines and it was pretty packed by the time we were leaving, but pretty open for happy hour.

Gotta hit up the happy hour!!! Great deals. The oysters are salty deliciousness. Wood fired wings are some of the best wings I've had.

Red rabbit had been on my list for quite some time and it exceed my expectations! Their menu has a variety of options, making it a great spot for almost anyone. We had a lot of fun with their spritz menu and many of us ordered a different type of spritz from the menu. We were served very quickly and had lots of attentive staff who ensured we had everything we needed! I had the mostaccioli pasta and it was incredible. I tend to shy away from pastas with a white sauce but im so glad that I gave this a shot! The noodles are lathered in a goat cheese sauce and on top of the noodles, they have a delicious marinara blend. The dish was the perfect blend of rich and savory and the portions were perfect! The restaurant is open and spacious with lots of great natural lighting. I believe there is a parking lot but also plenty of street parking. I can't wait to come back and try more of their menu items!!

Red rabbit is often a go to for me when entertaining guests. It has ample selections for meat eaters as well as vegetarians. The service is always excellent and I really like their drink selection. The food is always well prepared, but I do wish they would refresh or add to their vegetarian and vegan items. I rarely go there on my own or seek it out because I end up ordering the same thing every time. It's good, but I'd love to have a few more choices. I do think if you haven't been there, you really should check it out.

Wife and I go on the date, she chooses this place, not me. The service was very friendly and everyone was really nice, all around. My wife ordered some pasta that came out really really salty. We pushed it back but my wife mention what it could be the sauce that is so salty. After 5-10 minutes, they brought a new pasta meal, but it tasted exactly the same. They didn't charge us for that salty dish. We ended up giving it to our kids and they demolished it in 30 seconds. Anywho, everyone has their own taste buds and this is America! We would definitely return to the Red Rabbit and Red Cow... both just amazing places

We came during happy hour (select beer/wine choices for $7) and stayed for dinner. I like the vibe here: the booths are comfortable and have partitions that help cut down the ambient noise. All of the wood tones add a nice backdrop to a the meal, and they had the holiday decorations in place. Our server was warm and friendly, and attentive at appropriate times. We tried some new (to us) items from the menu this time, rather than familiar favorites, and I'm glad we did! APPETIZER : Focaccia (3/5 I've had this before, and it's normally better. The edges were a little burned this time.) ENTREES: Butternut Squash Ravioli with added protein of Italian Sausage (5/5) and Lasagna (5/5) SIDE: Broccolini (3/5 I wanted to like this better...but it was hard and tough in texture, so undercooked I think) DESSERT: Sticky Toffee Cake (5/5)

When planning a date night, we always think of Red Rabbjt first! On a Friday night, it was lively on Grand Avenue. Our server was very helpful and fun, giving us entree suggestions. We started with the focaccia and marinara as an appetizer, YUM! Very fluffy and garlicky, so delicious. I went with the cacio e pepe and my fiancé went with the pesto, both of us adding grilled chicken. The chicken had great flavor and so did the pasta! It was enough for both of us to need to go boxes. This is a great spot in all weather, plan ahead to find parking on a side street.

Nice and friendly as I came on my own. Squeezed into a place at the bar and just enjoyed thawing (-29 feeling outside and due to lack of parking, had to walk a block and miss happy hour, life's a bitch at times:) Anyway, oysters were good but one had shells - they'll mention it to the whomever... Wine was good Sav blanc. I chose Cavatelli, mmmm the noodle not good sent back with a smile to try it with tagliatelle noodle, I'll see. Wow, I'm really a snob! Anyway, sip wine here, it was so worth the wait. Linguine was their option and it's a better pasta for this dish as it really was so yummy! I would love to try it with pappardelle but the linguine was fine. The sauce and sausage had the perfect level of heat and flavor. I absolutely loved it.

One of our favorite places to go to dinner. We've been here several times and are never disappointed. The charcuterie board is amazing. They even put the nuts on the side for my wife as I'm allergic. The ginger spritz NA cocktail is one of the best NA I've had in a while. The bolognese is one of my favorite pasta dishes anywhere and my wife loved the pear salad. Finally the sticky toffee cake is one of the best desserts I've ever had at a restaurant. Just can't go wrong here. Love the space itself, both the inside and outside seating spaces are great. Our server Ella was new to the job but did fantastically!

Nothing could be further from the truth. My wife and I were able to enjoy our meal and comfortable conversation. Now, for the food. They have an appetizer called "Pizza Fries". Having been frequent diners at Mama's, and having pizza fries there, that was what I was expecting, a garlic and butter pizza crust with cheese on it. This is not that. The pizza fries are pizza dough deep fried. Sounds simple, and it is...but they are so addicting. You will not be disappointed. Tonight my wife and I both ordered the special which was Chicken Parmesan in vodka sauce. The sauce was tangy and delicious. The Chicken Parm was done to perfection, the chicken was moist and the breading was well done. Over all, if you want Italian comfort food, this is the place to go.

Our server was very nice to us and our kiddo, and gave good suggestions. We had the cold cuts app, kale salad, a pizza, tiramisu, and a few cocktails to share. All the food we had was great, well balanced flavors with interesting twists, like the fried chicken on pizza and the meaty kale salad. The limoncello spritz was so refreshing and good, but the espresso martini was just alright - I might pass on that next time. The tiramisu was to die for - my favorite in the cities so far! Will definitely be back for that, and to try some pastas, which looked and smelled amazing as they passed our table. The only thing that was a little weird was that we asked for whipped cream on the side for our kiddo, and they brought and charged us for "butter" which seemed to be some sort of mascarpone or heavy cream/ butter dish topped with salt and olive oil. It was good and the baby liked it, just wasn't what we expected - something to be aware of! The vibe was date-y and upscale, we felt alright having our baby with us, but definitely felt a bit out of place the few times she was loud. Perhaps on a weekday, it might be easier to bring kids, but even on a Saturday evening we still felt pretty welcome.

We called around 5:30 to see if they'd seat us at 7:15 and they were able to reserve a table for us. I got the daily special which was like a chicken Parmesan but with steak. It wasn't my favorite thing because I was not expecting the steak to be thinly cut and more on the dry side. That could be my bad - I heard steak and was imagining something totally different. But it wasn't still pretty good! The noodle texture was to die for. It was $30. Drinks were delicious too and ranged from $12-$15. The only thing that I didn't love, is that they charge for every little thing. we got the focaccia and asked for olive oil and balsamic. Why was that an extra $2... $1 for olive oil and $1 for balsamic. If we hadn't ordered it, it would have been an $8 large sized muffin of focaccia - which turned into $10. Definitely not worth it. I asked for some extra Parmesan and they charged $2 for pecorino... honestly it just threw off the experience a little. And it came in the tiniest little cup. I understand maybe 50 cents but $2? Especially when we're having five drinks and three entrees between three people, realizing we were paying extra for those items on the check just was not enjoyable. I'd recommend this place to others as a great place for pasta and drinks, but pasta and drinks only. Maybe avoid asking for any thing on the side and I'd skip apps.

The restaurant itself is small, but it's charming, cozy, and full of character. I appreciated the thoughtful details, like the mismatched vintage silverware that reminded me of my grandmother's collection and the antique ring trays used to present receipts and credit cards. Those little touches added to the overall ambiance. The food was exceptional. The mixed salad with the Dijon vinaigrette was perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of bitter dandelion greens. As someone who loves risotto, I was pleasantly surprised to try it prepared in a way I'd never experienced before--pan-fried--which added a wonderful texture while keeping it creamy inside. My husband ordered the rye pasta, and he's convinced it's now his favorite pasta dish of all time. Every plate that came to our table was beautifully prepared and incredibly flavorful. Although the prices are on the higher side, the quality of the food easily earns 5+ stars. Unfortunately, the service was inconsistent and ultimately overshadowed what should have been a wonderful evening. When we arrived, the person greeting guests simply said, "Name?" without looking up before leading us to our table. There was no welcome, no hello, or friendly introduction. Not even a smile. Later, I realized he was one of the recipients of the Golden Spoon award, which made the interaction even more surprising. Our server was the most disappointing part of the evening. When we asked for a recommendation for a good wine, she responded with a snarky, condescending tone, asking my husband if he was "serious." Instead of simply offering a suggestion, she questioned us about where we'd previously had bad wine at any restaurant, asked for the name of the restaurant, and continued in a way that felt more like we were being interrogated for the comment of asking about a good wine than being helped. After that interaction, we observed her speaking with another server, who looked over at us and laughed. While I can't know exactly what was being discussed, the timing made us feel uncomfortable and self-conscious. Whether or not it was about us, it left us feeling embarrassed and completely changed the mood of our evening. It's difficult to enjoy a special dinner when you feel unwelcome and I felt humiliated. Thankfully, the other staff members who delivered our food and cleared our plates were warm, friendly, and attentive. One even recommended a wonderful red wine to pair with my husband's pasta, and it was an excellent suggestion! Overall, the atmosphere created by some members of the staff felt cold, uninviting, and pretentious, which can quickly diminish what should be an enjoyable dining experience. Maybe when you get a Golden Spoon you don't have to try anymore for friendly and inviting?? It's unfortunate because the food is truly outstanding and deserving of high praise. Had the service--particularly from our main server--matched the quality of the cuisine, this would have been an easy five-star experience.
