Excellent choice for burgers! We decided to visit Urban Stack while in town for the NPC Night of Champions. I'f your trainer blesses you with the opportunity to enjoy a burger before the competition, this is the place to be!!! The burgers were so good and the single serving of fries was huge! Hubby received permission to enjoy a double order of fries so he was in heaven! The service was outstanding. We enjoyed this place so much that we decided to come back the next day for the celebratory meal as well!

I went in about 5:30pm on a Tuesday, It was pretty slow, so the service was quick! Looks like a fine dining restaurant from the outside, very chill on the inside. I liked this place because I'm on dietary restrictions as of now, and they had many options and substitutions! As you can see I got a lettuce wrapped burger, surprisingly the burger was full of flavor! I took the cinnamon and sugar off the sweet potato fries and the sauce girl in me got a side of ranch! Delicious!

One of our favorite burger spots in Chattanooga! Living out of state, we don't get the opportunity to go often, so we had to eat here this last trip. A year was too long. We arrived right at opening, so we had the place to ourselves for most of the time. We enjoy the atmosphere. Laid back and just a nice spot to enjoy time with the spouse and some great food. Our serve was not the quickest (took his time) server we've had and was very difficult to hear as he spoke very low and used very few words. He was there to do the job and that was it. While not congenial, he wasn't rude and I can handle that. We started off with the Smokin' Hot Pimento Cheese dip. It's a hot take on traditional pimento cheese. It was very tasty. We had a hankering for something new, so we both ordered the Italian. It has the burger, fried salami and capicola, cherry pepper relish, lettuce, tomato (got mine without-food allergy), onion (removed for us), vinegar mayo, provolone and oregano. We each had a side of onion rings. Wowzers!!! Were those burgers ever good! Absolutely incredible. May be my new fave. The onion rings were crispy and delicious as well. Would definitely recommend Urban Stack as well as this burger! Can't wait to return!

Delicious range of burgers! And you can substitute chicken or other options if you want. Onion rings were yummy even though they were pretty heavily breaded. My chicken with fried green tomato was super. Service very good. Ambiance rustic , clean.

We just came here for a couple after dinner drinks and noticed that the bartender was less than attentative. Not only did we notice it, but four other patrons at the bar were still wondering why they were not getting served. Once we got the drinks. It was crickets. To get any more service. This was at a night where it wasn't that busy I'd hate to see it when the bar is really packed. Other than that. Everything was great. I waited to see if I could change this review and ordered another drink, but nope, it has not improved. I am very disappointed that the bar staff is so slow and unappreciative of their customers. It is very disappointing. And when I asked for another drink, he took my glass and gave me a drink and the same glass back. I guess they're short of glasses too.

We stopped here on Memorial Day on our way home from Chattanooga. The food was good, decent price but all I remember were the kids next to us running around and tossing rubber bands at each other. All I could hope for was one not to hit me in my eye. Their parents didn't say much to make them stop and the wait staff didn't either. Hopefully if I'm in the area, and visit here again, I can remember how the food was.

It's been many years since I came here and have been back in Chattanooga. The food was just as good as I remembered. Highly recommend. The staff were so nice. I also had a maple bacon Manhattan, also highly recommend. Don't sleep on this place!

Food we ordered was good, pretty inexpensive for the quality. Service was fast, and waiters nice, especially Kendall, if i recall the name correctly. Ambiance was nice, in an old building.

A casual place with good burgers and interesting side dishes. We enjoyed the relaxed vibe and tasty food. I had a great burger and tried the fried chickpeas which were different... and good! Overall had a nice time and enjoyed the food.

Wow! I really wanted to like this place based on the reviews stating how the bartenders are so…read morefriendly and accommodating. Sadly, as an individual customer, that was not my experience on a Thursday night. I arrived a little before 7pm and I was warmly greeted by Drew. I told her I was excited to dine here, specifically in the bar, based on reviewers comments. Her friendliness and positive attitude assured me I made the right decision. However, the bar area was not as inviting or welcoming as the evening progressed. My bartender was cordial and asked if I wanted a cocktail. I asked if this place makes a good Cosmopolitan. He said "Do you like it tart or sweet?" (Never been asked that before, but I appreciated the question.) I said "tart" and he made me the BEST Cosmopolitan I've had in a while! It was served half in a glass and the rest in a small decanter surrounded in a glass of ice. Great presentation and even better drink! Just a touch of pink and nice and strong. 5 star start! Then, it went downhill. I ordered the Wedge Salad ($9) and the Seared Scallops ($18), both under the "Starters, Small Plates" section. Both were very good, with excellent presentation. I should have realized the "Small Plates" would only provide a few scallops (3), but they were very well prepared and quite good. After I ordered and the food was provided, little customer service was given thereafter. I had to ask for water refills twice. (When I finally asked for my check, I got a refill without asking.) During this time, only one other customer was in the bar. The two bartenders were talking to another employee about a streaming finale one recently watched. Eventually, the second bartender came onto my side and I asked if I could order one more item from him since my bartender never came back. (The first bartender was Josh, which I discovered when I got the bill receipt.) The other bartender took my order for the Pot Roast Nachos (as I still somewhat hungry) and the Nachos were absolutely fantastic, just like the reviews recommended. At 8pm, I left as I was the only patron left in the bar (I wonder why?) and they were cleaning up even though closing was still an hour away. The bill for two cocktails and the food mentioned above came to $77. Then, $13 was added for Tennessee state/county tax and also liquor/wine tax!!! Was my meal and service worth $100, not really. As I left, I saw the personable Drew and she asked me how the evening went. I explained and she apologized that it did not meet my expectations. I said I just think I came on an off night. However, maybe she should tell management that if only one customer is left at the bar, you should treat them with the attention and respect as anyone who came in earlier. I don't feel I received the service I deserved for the price I paid so sadly, I can only provide a review based on this one time experience.

Looks the part of an old style bar with well-worn wooden bar. Bartenders were friendly & attentive. I decided to try The Social Sour, which is basically a New York sour - a whiskey sour with a red wine float. It looks great & tasted great too but I wasn't absolutely sure it was actually red wine on top. In any case try that or the barkeep's old fashioned.

At first, servers were scarce, but as I got up to go to the bar, the bartender must've seen me and was on his way. He took our initial drink order. At $14 per glass of wine, we just went for the bottle at $54 and a charcuterie board at $27. We are on vacation, so why not. The view is excellent. The weather cooperated. People watching from on high was fun, and the nature scenery was nice. Service was a little slow, but not an imposition, however, if it gets much busier, that could be a thing. We later learned they previously had a $10 cover, but we did not get asked for this and it must be a thing of the past, or I understand it is waived for guests of the Edwin Hotel (the bar's affiliated with the Edwin) but we had dinner reservations at Whitebird, the affiliated restaurant. The charcuterie was good with cheeses, cured meats, jams, crackers, etc. all in all, the star is the Al fresco seating and the River, and of course the company of my beautiful wife! So, go for outdoor seating and bring your own beau!
