Stopped in for a quick bite since it was close to the Airbnb and seemed people raved about this place. "The burger , the burger, the burger" So I decide to take their word and of course get the burger. Sounds tasty and full of flavor. Sounds...... I didn't get any of the onion, garam masala aioli , or pepper crema. The burger was hot and cheese was melted but that's almost the end of it. Burger was extremely bland and lacking in any of the flavors described on the menu. Not being local maybe this is the best in Chattanooga but in general it absolutely missed the mark on flavor and wouldn't be ranked on the scale at all with out major seasoning and adjustments. Also Got the arroz con elotes which is not elotes at all. It's Indian rice with corn. And oddly enough it's where all the salt went. Not a drop in the burger but so much on the elotes you couldn't take more than 1 bite. Far cry saying this place serves good food

Back again and the Stallonie was just as good as the first time. Had to try the Kimchi Fried Rice with Egg and it was amazing, too. Incredible flavors from this cool little hangout!

This is such a great place!! The staff is so friendly. Of course we had to try the murder burger. It is definitely worth the hype! We also got the Thai chili dog. Delicious! If you are thinking about going don't wait!!!

"Murder Burger". Outstanding!

I've been wanting to try this place for their widely talked about "murder burger". It was absolutely amazing amazing! Perfect in every respect. The smash patties were perfectly browned on the edges. The bread was soft. And the toppings were wonderful. If you don't like Indian food, it might be too much for you, but I kind of doubt it. I ordered it just the way they make it With a masala aïoli and red pepper creama along with onions and I think a little shredded lettuce and cheese. I was a little concerned sauces, might be overwhelming, but it wasn't. It was perfect. Will definitely be ordering one again. I ordered it to go and drove almost 20 minutes home before we ate it and it was still warm and delicious ( granted I got there right as it was coming out and put it in an insulated bag- maybe I should drive for Uber eats or DoorDash.) . The service when I picked it up and ordering on the phone was very friendly and accommodating.

Man, that burger. It's worth any negative you have to endure to go have it! Like, no fries (this would put the entire experience in another realm) and the poor attitude of the person behind the counter. Eclectic vibe with a special burger, go give it a try! Dont miss the Arroz con Elote as well, very good.

Wow! What a great place to get a burger. Highly recommended. Food prices are awesome. This place is quiet and hidden in a neighborhood. If you want a place like no other, go here. Service was great too!

He Said She Said ..

He Said: A sorta dive bar, completely awesome bar. We got a recommendation from a local bartender and she was so right. I had a Chicago handshake to kick things off and a burger to wash it down. Lo Main has it all with a great staff, amazing menu, simple and effective drinks menu, and a perfect vibe. We now know our favorite bar in Chattanooga and, clearly, Tennessee. She Said: As he noted, we love this place. The murder burger was part of the appeal, and it didn't disappoint after lots of drinking and live music the night before. I couldn't do the Chicago handshake, and was happy to see Zombie Dust available. Now we need to come back so I can have a Bloody Mary and try some of the other yummy sounding things on the menu. Don't miss on the record store next door either. Potty points: 4/5 Cleaner than the vibe would suggest, no wait, gets the job done.

I had to go back! This time I tried Arroz con Elote. While it doesn't taste like the authentic dish this is still absolutely delicious in its own way! Exactly what to expect at lo main. I also discovered they served Malort! And as a Chicagoan, I definitely recommend order and trying that shot

This place gets pretty crowded because it is loved by the neighborhood usuals as well as the people further away. That being said, the wait for a spot to sit and a Murder Burger is worth it. Find a seat at the bar if you can, grab a can of somewhat-obscure domestic beer or an interesting handshake, snack on some Indian-inspired chips, and try not to salivate too hard while waiting on the burger. I know there are other things on the menu, but we can't stop thinking about the burger. I thought it was over-hyped, but I'm glad I was wrong. I may be drooling while writing this.

One of, if not the best burger I ever had. Vibes were great and the staff was friendly and helpful. Would recommend anyone to come here .

The 'Murder Burger' is where it's at !!! Cozy atmosphere, small, quaint, in the revitalized Main Street area. If you haven't , you need too.

Can't recommend this cocktail bar enough!…read more We visited the bar late night while staying at the hotel and it did not disappoint. Despite clearly being short staffed and having a busy night - we were greeted almost immediately and encouraged to help ourselves to a seat. We sat at a table away from the bar (only one available) and a server came by to take our drink order. Before he could return, another employee - who was running food to another table - immediately came over to us after to see if we wanted to order food (which we did!). She took our order, then the drinks arrived and before we knew it the food was out and was incredible! The menu is quite limited - and even more so when you one of you doesn't eat meat - and yet we were able to make a meal out of 2 caesar salads, the hummus plate and the deviled eggs. And don't even get me started on the cocktails! We started with a Manhattan and an Espresso Martini that were perfectly crafted. And then for our dessert round switched to their signature Old Fashioned. Each one was better than the next! Thanks for an incredible time, Whiskey Thief. We will definitely we back!

At first, servers were scarce, but as I got up to go to the bar, the bartender must've seen me and was on his way. He took our initial drink order. At $14 per glass of wine, we just went for the bottle at $54 and a charcuterie board at $27. We are on vacation, so why not. The view is excellent. The weather cooperated. People watching from on high was fun, and the nature scenery was nice. Service was a little slow, but not an imposition, however, if it gets much busier, that could be a thing. We later learned they previously had a $10 cover, but we did not get asked for this and it must be a thing of the past, or I understand it is waived for guests of the Edwin Hotel (the bar's affiliated with the Edwin) but we had dinner reservations at Whitebird, the affiliated restaurant. The charcuterie was good with cheeses, cured meats, jams, crackers, etc. all in all, the star is the Al fresco seating and the River, and of course the company of my beautiful wife! So, go for outdoor seating and bring your own beau!

The atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and cozy, with plenty of seating for humans to settle in and enjoy a whiskey flight. The staff immediately made me feel welcome and even brought over a water bowl without being asked. As a professional lounge dog, I appreciated the hospitality. My humans enjoyed sampling several whiskeys while I worked hard supervising the tasting process from my blanket-covered seat at the bar. The tasting room has a comfortable, laid-back feel that makes it easy to spend an hour or two escaping the weather. The unexpected highlight? The gift shop sells a plush dog toy of one of their whiskey bottles. Naturally, my humans bought one for me, and it quickly became one of my favorite toys. If you're traveling with a dog and looking for a dog-friendly indoor activity in Chattanooga, this is an easy recommendation. Dogba's verdict: Great whiskey for the humans, water service for the dogs, and a souvenir toy worthy of bringing home.

Our company, of about 10 of us, did the tour and tasting and our tour guide Jake was fantastic. We enjoyed learning about the history of the company and his humor throughout the tour. We will definitely be back and booking more tours in the future for our company.

Considering we were 18 ppl he did a great job. We ordered oysters to share. It's not quite a 3 star but didn't quite meet a 4 star either. Let's start with what's great here…read more A great oyster program with delicious oysters from a range of East Coast locations. Wonderful cocktail list with well balanced, well made cocktails. I loved my old fashioned and others enjoyed their drinks too. Very nice, attentive service from the servers although they brought out the oysters without telling us what was what and service was at times bumpy. The interior is nice, with it feeling casual but somewhere you could bring a date. And we enjoyed the lobster cakes which were well done, nice sauce, without overwhelming the sweetness of the lobster itself. So that was positive. Where it failed: the tuna bites on regular and not crispy rice was hard to eat. It was good but a little unruly. The halibut piccatta was VERY dry, almost bordering on inedible. Their special, which was a bento box was not great. The flavors didn't go together and their sushi eggroll had cream cheese which is very gross. Their steak frites was fine if not that memorable. All in all, I would come back for their drinks and their oysters but not sure I would come back for a full meal here.
