I hate to say no, but my food was absolutely awful. I ate here several weeks ago (just catching up on reviews) with my dad after an evening of shopping. We were both very hungry and it was late, around 8:30-9 pm. We weren't sure the place was open because there was no one in the restaurant part. The menu was a typical bar menu. I ordered the fish and chips. It came and was soggy, greasy and overly crispy all at the same time. There was so much breading that I was peeling it off and there was still more. The fish that was there was flavorless, soggy and mushy. The owner/manager did offer to make me something else, but by that time I was already halfway through the mess. My dad said his burger was good. I wouldn't eat here again. They get 2 stars for offering to make me new food. read more

I've always loved the Mimi's fiesta bowl, and at 650 calories, it was perfect! Yet the new menu shows the calories at 1180, the price has gone up, and I seriously doubt the amount of food has doubled. This is very disappointing. Every food app I have used said 650 calories. Have I been eating that with the wrong calorie count for years? Definitely makes me question all the calorie counts given by your restaurant! This is a chain that is hit or miss depending on the city. The s location was a miss. Service was spotty, my 3 compatriots food was just ok, I went for the chicken parm and it was burnt black, but completely smothered in cheese & marinara to hide it. Sent it back and the replacement was just a little less burnt. Everyone else was done eating by the time it came back out and I barely ate any of it. They didn't offer to comp it, my buddy was paying, I won't ever eat at another Miller's Ale House. Not worth it when there are plenty of other choices anywhere there is a Miller's. read more

Lunch on. Friday afternoon and you can't sit in the bar area at a high top by the open door. There is only one sever. Yet they can seat you in the 'far right rear corner' of the restaurant with two severs that I saw. Maybe the manager wasn't there n there was no one managing things. I never saw a manager. No one in charge asking how things were. The waitress we had was very very good. The food was great as usual. I love the Zingers Mac n Cheese despite the calorie count. Talk about a fantastic salad!!! Why, yes I will!! I ordered the shrimp and chicken Cobb salad and it was one of the best I've ever had. The seasonings on the shrimp was fantastic! The honey mustard dressing was delicious. My partner had the soup and salad combo and loved the French onion soup which he said was delicious. The service was very good. Attentive and friendly. NGMI!! I've been here on too many occasions where you can tell management is the biggest problem. Management has made huge mistakes from the beginning and they haven't even been open but just a few months. Yet they continue making excuses for the mistakes because no one is taking responsibility for them; they will instead refer you to their main email. That never works when there are problems to fix. Add that to dirty dishes and silverware and it makes you not want to return. Clean up your act! Go to the one at Hamilton Place which is better by leaps and bounds. Let this one close and go out of business. I think only until then will they see they should have fixed their food problems from the onset. If you do go, you'll see a lot of cars in the parking lot. Be assured they are not there for food. It may look like a good place to eat, but trust me - it might save you from getting sick to NOT eat there. Those cars are from just a bunch of regulars called 'barflies'. Ugh. Don't bother replying with your canned response. No one wants to give you their email address. read more

I want to start by giving props to the bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff, as I've grown to know and love many of them, this includes Rene and Jeremy (mid level management) that always take the time to get to know their customers and deliver what they need. This team has always made our visits (and they are often) very special. We've been made to feel like a part of the Miller's family. They make every attempt to provide excellent service, remembering specific drink and tedious food orders, and accommodating us with the thermostat and ambiance. They even remember and celebrate our birthdays. As of late, a couple of bartenders have been terminated for what most see as minor offenses. It is certainly a coachable situation but I don't think that has occurred. Like many others I'm crushed by losing them and know that Miller's will not be the same without them. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's left many regulars boycotting in protest and without them, the atmosphere is just different.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The reason for my rating is an attempt to get someone's attention to this matter, above the GM/location alone. I believe there is more to this story and quite frankly I would be willing to discuss my concerns if I felt welcome enough to speak to the GM. However, it was only days ago that she even spoke to me for the first time since she was promoted to her position and that was only at my request to ask about a fundraiser. We've been patron at Miller's Ale House for quite some time, but after our recent experience, it's clear we won't be returning. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We went in to celebrate, but things quickly took a turn when the music was abruptly switched to a football game over the loud speakers.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We asked if it could be changed back to the music, as we weren't there for the game, and the manager explained that during playoff season, they typically play the game. [[HIGHLIGHT]]What was frustrating, however, was that when we first arrived, the music was already playing, and the game hadn't been the main sound on.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It was only after other regulars, that came in 10-15 minutes after us, requested it, that the game was switched on, and to preface it was already halftime when we asked to have it changed back. The whole situation felt dismissive of our request, and it really put a damper on what was supposed to be a fun, celebratory evening. Sadly, this experience has left a bad taste, and we won't be back. Customer satisfaction seems to take a backseat to accommodating certain groups, and we're no longer interested in supporting a place that doesn't prioritize all of its customers equally. read more

We were passing through on our way to Atlanta for a bite to eat. We had never heard of this place but wanted to try it out. I ordered the Cajun chicken pasta with a house salad (which is a huge size!) my partner ordered the steak and shrimp, my lil guy had the burgers and fries off the kids menu. He kept saying how good his burger was and didn't leave a bite on the plate. My partner enjoyed his as well. A tall poured of 24oz. It was $9.50 per glass. And we placed our order, my wife had the Chimichurri Steak Salad, and I went with the Prime Rib Burger Sandwich, or so I thought. Have eaten at others MAH's locations and Love this sandwich and they change up this sandwich and it's 100% my fault not looking closer to the menu and assuming it was the "Prime Rib" sandwich and not a burger. In the pass you could have thinly sliced Prime Rib meat pile high on a bun with an awesome sauce, onion straws and fries. Well... minus the prime beef and add a 1/2 lbs. patty, cooked medium. I'd say negative one rating if that was an option. My drivers license expired on my birthday after the eight year period like it does for everyone. I spent hours at the DMV yesterday and got it renewed. They issue you a paper license and your plastic license comes within 20 days. I'm 38 years old. I went today for drinks and food and was told they don't accept paper ids. It is issued by the TN government and is valid. This is ridiculous and out of my control. My sister promptly finished her beer and we left. I do not recommend the Hixson, TN Miller's to anyone. That rule is stupid and their food isn't good anyway. My husband ordered the 12 oz Ribeye and swears he ended up with Chuck eye. The texture was terrible. Very rubbery and loaded with gristle. I got the Largest Prime Rib. The texture was horrible. it had an "off taste" with zero flavor and took forever to chew. The saving grace was my son loved his Crab Legs and other family members said the Quesadilla Ruben was good. It was my sons birthday so we were there with 6 other people and didn't complain or discuss how horrible the food was until we later arrived at home and just the two of us. Our waitress was great.
