Our first time for dinner here. Liked the interior ambiance. Acoustic control was a bit lacking as the noise levels seem to carry. We ordered an appetizer (small plate) charcuterie board, cedar plank salmon, and a side salad. It took quite a while for our food to be delivered to our table, and unfortunately, all of our food came at the same time. The cedar plank salmon was very tasty and nicely seasoned. Charcuterie board had a decent selection of items to choose from - too many Crackers for our tastes, and wished there was a greater volume of meats. Food portions could have been larger for the price paid. Service was adequate.

Urban Pine Winery - Maumee, OH 5 Stars The only whining you'll hear here is the sweet sound of corks popping and wine pouring--glass after glass of delicious, carefully crafted flavor. Urban Pine Winery offers a refreshing, elevated experience tucked into Maumee's Briarfield Boulevard. The moment you step inside, you're welcomed by a wide open space with a charming blend of modern rustic beauty--think clean lines, warm wood tones, and a relaxed, upscale vibe that invites you to stay a while. Service is spot-on. The waitstaff are attentive, prompt, and genuinely informative--they know their wines and they're happy to guide you through the menu without hovering. I had the pleasure of meeting Chef Chris Miller, and let me say--this is where Urban Pine really sets itself apart. Chef Chris personally walked me through the menu, pointing out several thoughtful gluten-free options and taking the time to ensure I felt confident and cared for. That level of personal attention and hospitality is rare. 10/10 would recommend. My first glass was the Blueberry Field--a sweet wine that lives up to its description. Fruity but never too much, it's smooth, balanced, and just right for those who like a touch of sweetness without feeling syrupy. After a quick sip of water to reset the palate, I moved on to glass number two: the Vanilla Bourbon Port. This one's a showstopper--fig, plum, and warm vanilla layered with a rich, smooth bourbon finish that lingers in the best way. It's bold, cozy, and beautifully crafted. Perks - If you find yourself falling for their pours, Urban Pine offers a variety of Wine Club memberships with thoughtful benefits and exclusive experiences--worth checking out if you're a regular or plan to be. To close out the experience, I went for the gluten-free Chicken Bacon Ranch Flatbread and the Buffalo Cauliflower. I would show you a picture of the flatbread, but I devoured it before I could even think about a photo--now that's a review in itself. The buffalo cauliflower delivered just the right punch--crispy, spicy, and a perfect shareable plate. Enjoy the pics I did manage to grab--and trust me, this place is worth every bite and sip. Wherever your appetite leads you, let it lead you well. -RLF III

    Enormous Knot and wine flights

Nice space. We sat outside in the shade and it was very pleasant, if a little loud due to proximity to the highway (you couldn't see it though). We opted for red and white wine flights, and the wine was pretty good (we're not super big wine enthusiasts so just going on our personal tastes). We shared the enormous knot pretzel for an app. The 3 dips were excellent and we all enjoyed it. My son's smash burger was very flavorful. My perch tacos were a little bland, as was my partner's brisket sandwich. However, they were still satisfying. I loved that the fish was not fried and the dressing/toppings were the right amount. The house chips were fine, but also a bit bland. Service was excellent- NW Ohio is very friendly! Would recommend overall.

My wife and I stopped here before catching a show a Huntington Center. It is a very cute restaurant with several 4 top tables, but only two booths. They serve various wines and have set flights. However, if you become a member, you can pick your own flight. I had a cobb salad and my wife had the charcuterie board. The salad was good and she enjoyed her adult lunchable, as I call it. The real star of this place was our server, Taryn. She was absolutely incredible; friendly, engaging and knowledgeable about the wines and food. She made the meal and tasting wonderful. Thank you Taryn!!!!

The Urban Pine Winery is a well done facility. It is set in a strip mall area that is very difficult to find. There is virtually no signage on how to get there and Google isn't good about getting you there. The interior is beautiful. Lots of rich wood, stone and gray/dark colors. The chairs and tables are comfortable. The atmosphere is so pretty that it is relaxing. The host and waitress were very friendly and professional. The wines are very good. We tasted several dry samples. The dry wines were pretty good. The breadsticks and cheese were a good selection. The breadsticks were soft and buttery. The cheese was smooth with a mild taste. My side salad was very fresh. There was a nice selection of side vegetables to accent the salad.

The food was so delicious, I got the bee sting flatbread and the hot honey on the flatbread made it taste over the top delicious! The service was pretty quick, we had arrived closer to close, so we didn't get to see how packed it gets, but on a Sunday afternoon, we were the only remaining group before close. The wine tastings were great too. It was staff choice for Sunday, but they have on their menu which days you have your own choice of wines. The ambiance, it was open space, very quiet, the outdoors was closed in, but not the best views with the freeway right on the other side of the bushes, you could hear cars driving by.

As every review says the charcuterie board is off the chain. Just more than 6 crackers needed and they do charge for extra crackers. Service is hit or miss. The only time I have received prompt service is when I went on a random week day to pick up my Jiggs dinner. More on that in a minute. They have a decent selection of red white and sweet wines however nothing really stands out and I've never been tempted to buy a bottle. Their menus are seasonal so if you see something you like better get it now. Most pics are of that short rib flat bread(mine too) because it was delicious. No longer available. Some folks like changing menus. I'm not a fan. Now they have a chicken flat bread on with pickles? Yuck So I ordered the Jiggs dinner for my sweetie for St Patrick's Day. The pictures looked delicious. My honey said the meat was so tough he couldn't chew it. It sat in the fridge for a week. I like to sit on the patio but there is no view. It faces the highway. Wine flight, charcuterie, flatbread $50. Dig the atmosphere and the charcuterie plate but suggest dinner elsewhere.

Lovey atmosphere, friendly service. I though the wine was just okay and same with the food. Standard fair, not high end culinarily, but absolutely fine for an enjoyable evening out. I wish this business well.

Wine was standard Ohio wine......way too much sugar. Burger was just okay. Out kids were satisfied. One of the kids enjoyed the brisket burnt end panini, the other had what looked like kraft macaroni.

I just brunch'ed (totally a verb) here with 20 of my friends, and I'm still blissfully happy with the experience. Urban Pine Winery is such an unexpected spot, and now I feel I must tell everyone I know about it so that it never ever leaves. The exterior is rustic, the interior is rustic modern, and the wine and menu is divine. The perfect place for large parties, and never once did we feel like a burden. Big huge fans of the sangria flight. The menu (which I'm told changes seasonally) was awesome. I tried the Pineapple Pear Sangria, it was sweet and delicious. As was the harvest gnocchi, thought it was a touch dry and needed a bit more sauce. Also rave reviews about both the cheese and chocolate charcuterie boards, which we shared with the table.

We also tried the cabbage rolls and chicken wraps. The chicken wraps could be a daily treat. They are so light and fresh and great with the yogurt sauce they are served with. We didn't have dessert but we will definitely be back for more! The grape leaves are a top item I need to try. They do have a private room for larger parties as well.

The server introduced herself and immediately made a nervous comment on the lack of customers. "This is probably the slowest Saturday I've ever seen here" Yeah ok... The vibe was actually pretty nice. Good music and a nice interior. The menu was small, which is usually a good sign. The server came with a wine list. Every single wine we selected was out of stock. Only the expensive bottles were left. We asked for a glass and received a lot of pressure to buy the bottle (which we didn't). When it came time to order, two people in our party wanted the same dish. The server gave us A LOT of grief about it. "We use a small plate sharing system here and typically advise customers against selecting the same items". We said, "tough luck" and ordered it anyway. After that strange interaction, the server's attitude shifted, and she made various off-hand, borderline rude comments throughout our experience. The food...... I ordered the "chicken ramen" and was horrified by what I saw. After living in Japan for nearly 10 years, I have high expectations when I hear the word, Ramen. They literally used instant noodles. INSTANT NOODLES! There was some chicken and veggies in it, almost no soup. It was similar to the dressed-up ramen noodles I would make in college. Over $20 for dressed up instant ramen folks. No one left feeling satiated. We walked over to Reino's and got some actual filling food. We shall never return!
