We stayed here as members of Harvest Host. We really enjoyed this location. They were wonderful hosts. I had a flight of their Sweet wines and loved everyone of them. I also had a wine slush. My husband is not a wine drinker but loved the wine slush. We also had their flat bread sumpreme pizza and pretzel. Both were very tasty even for the pickiest of eaters. A very relaxing stay. We travel with our large dog and there was plenty of room for her to walk.

Stopped into our favorite little brewery in Hicksville, OH and had a lovely glass of Slap Happy cider from Stoney Ridge Farm. Light, crisp, and clean. Do yourself a favor and check them out in their hometown of Bryan, OH.

Love the atmosphere here! Such a cozy place inside to come and sip slushies! Picnic tables and a pond for when we like to be outside.

I love their Rhubarb wine. Not to sweet, and a very unique flavor. Well done Stoney Ridge.

The Vibe This winery-brewery is the definition of welcoming…read more No pretense--just good energy, small-town warmth, and owners who are truly salt of the Earth. There's a real story behind this place, and you can taste that passion in everything they brew and ferment. If you can, catch the owners early--their journey adds an extra layer to every sip. What We Tried We started with the pizza--simple, hot, and exactly what you want alongside a glass. For the wine, we went with the Dry Virgin Red (yep, that's the name). Nothing flashy, just clean, balanced, and quietly delicious. It's the kind of pour that makes conversation easy and the evening stretch in the best way. I was here with my wife and we shared tastes back and forth--one of those nights where everything just... clicks. Service & Hospitality Attentive without hovering. You feel like a guest, not a ticket number. The team clearly cares, and that care shows up in the little details--fresh pours, genuine check-ins, and thoughtful recommendations. Why It Works Places like this don't rely on gimmicks. They lead with heart, consistency, and craft. The result: a spot you're excited to return to and proud to recommend. Pro Tips * Arrive early to hear the owners' story--totally worth it. * Pair the Dry Virgin Red with the pizza; they get along like old friends. * If you love what you tasted, grab a bottle to go--future-you will be grateful. Bottom Line This winery is amazing. Come as fast as you can--and be ready to fall a little in love. Five stars, no hesitation.
