The little menu

So when you find the place you will see it is next to a railroad track and to get inside it is not the wooden door that you would think it is, the main entrance is on the side. When we walked in it looked very fancy on the inside, it had low lighting, fancy cups, everything was so elegant but the ambience was VERY quiet, the silence allowed me to hear my own heartbeat, we were the only ones in here on a Saturday Afternoon so obviously we had no wait for a table. The menu is very small so we ordered a sausage pizza, my wife wanted to order a Sangria but it was too difficult to find out if they had it. When the pizza came out I have to say it was very delicious, the crust was soft and the marinara sauce was very flavorful. For a place that was empty the food was really good even though there isn't a big selection. If you're in the mood for pizza this is it.

My wife and a friend stopped in to check out Tony's Trattoria. The place is much brighter than it was with the previous owner and has been spruced up with some new booths and seating areas. The menu is laid out very much like Ottava Via in Detroit with many of the same offerings and prices. My wife had the polpette (meatballs) and Broccolini. The meatballs were very good and sitting in a red sauce (salsa). The broccolini was charred nicely with spicy chili oil and was very tasty. Our friend had the Wild Mushroom Risotto. I was not a very big fan of the risotto as it was way, way over cooked and was almost a mush. I had the Cacio E Pepe, but wasn't a big fan. It was more like buttered noodles rather than a Cacio E Pepe. We also had the bread service which was very good. The bread was served with oil and herbs, honey and whipped goat cheese. When looking through the menu, I thought it was strange that they didn't have any pizza when they have that awesome pizza oven in the kitchen. Well after we ordered, we noticed the pizza menu is in the wine list. I thought that was a little odd and it might be a good thing to have the staff notify the customers of its placement. For a newly opened restaurant, it was pretty good.

We were big fans of The Grotto and were sad to learn the restaurant changed owners. It took us a while to try Tony's Trattoria. Tonight was our first time. We figured we'd just had the Bread Service & some drinks at the bar and take ravioli to go. It was great! We do miss the TVs at the bar but understand the place has a slightly different vibe. Great wine list. The Bread Service is four slices of garlic focaccia served with whipped goat cheese, truffle honey and herbed olive oil. Incredible! Our bartender/server was Chloe (with a C - not a Kardashian lol) was excellent ... on just her second day While we haven't tried the ravioli yet, it looks very good. Wanted to post guys review before we forget. We will definitely be back!

We drove from Toledo area. The service was impeccable. The restaurant was busy and our server kept the drinks fresh and the food came out from the kitchen with perfect timing. The food was fresh and delicious. The place seems small from the outside but they utilize every inch of the restaurant. Very nice ambiance. Will definitely visit again.

It's not often I find a GEM in this grey yet beautiful world. This was some of the BEST most REAL food I have tasted in all of downriver, if not metro detroit. Now, let's dig into the real star of the show: the food. As a non-bread lover, I was profoundly taken aback to discover I actually like bread, when I started off with the Garlic & Chevre focaccia. This came with the most tantalizing whipped herb goat cheese spread, and a dump truck of fresh roasted garlic. Impeccable. I got the Alfredo, which was cooked great, and also the Goat Cheese Chicken Risotto. WOW. I was left speechless. It was one of the most delicious dishes I have ever had. Chicken perfectly fried, risotto like no other, and the blend of flavors stood out as BFFs. I also got a side of the Citrus & Fennel salad. Absolutely insane also. Its the dead of winter and the heirloom tomatoes tasted like they grew out back in the summer sun. Props to your crew for going out to seek the best produce around. I finished with dessert, which was good. The tiramisu comes in a chocolate ball which for me is a bit too much but perfect for a chocolate lover. Props to the two younger chefs in the kitchen. As the last order of the night, no care or process was spared - making it truly known that everyone on the team here is on a caring alignment. I am not Gordon Ramsey, but I think he'd love to come hang out in that kitchen. The bartender, Kai, was a doll, taking such care into making our drinks and curating a wonderful experience not only for us at the bar, but others. The whole experience is only comparable to a few other meals I have had within my entire life across the country. I cannot wait to come to enjoy another Goat Cheese Chicken Risotto. Thank you for a wonderful insanely unique and amazing Tuesday night experience.

So good , the bolognese when they have it is my absolute favorite, wish they'd put it on the menu permanently. The pizza is great!
