I would stay far away as possible. The additional fees that they had each month are ridiculous making your rent roughly 200 dollars more. Heaters don't work in bedroom, 70% of the time we can't get hot water, plan on your vehicle to get towed and it costing you $260 I don't think it's the apartment managers themselves that report your vehicle I think it's the private towing companies contract that they have. Apartment managers clearly don't care that their tenants are unhappy. I'm glad we just gave our notice. read more

I really like this company. I just recently moved to Denver and these guys made the whole process as quick and painless as possible. From my first initial contact with the leasing office, they were super helpful with finding out exactly what I wanted. Everyone was nice and friendly, especially Katie at the front desk who's a total sweetheart. i really appreciated the ability to do everything online; applying, making payments, signing the lease. though they did make me sit through a "lease orientation." seriously? i ended up renting an apartment at the infinity park property based on my budget, although the units over at 4mile looked equally as nice, if not better. infinity park had all of the big things i was looking for- free & ample parking, controlled entry and an updated, modern kitchen. the functioning wood burning fireplace is just another bonus. to be honest when i first pulled up to the complex i almost kept driving. the exterior of the building is really gross and kind of looks like an old run down motel. but im glad i made myself check it out because the renovations look great and the interiors have an upscale, clean feel. you can tell the quality of the work is good and it wasn't just slapped up over night, as is the case with a lot of "luxury" buildings i lived at in nyc. since ive moved in, i've had a couple of minor maintenance issues - my garbage disposal wasn't working and the heat was out one morning. it was honestly just a minor inconvenience and both issues were resolved almost immediately after i submitted a request for repair. you would think the world was ending based on some other resident's comments. it seems like a lot of residents also enjoy complaining about the laundry machines, although i've yet to experience any problems so far. i feel like you cant get too picky about these things -- at the end of the day it is an old building with a high occupancy and these things are bound to occur anywhere you live. read more

I had a lease at the W 25th ave apartment and it was the worst living experience I have ever had. This applies to the property management, leasing office manager, and overall building maintenance. Maintenance never came on scheduled days and entered my apartment without my permission 3 times (that I am aware of). On one occasion I came out of the shower to find a man in my kitchen with my door wide open while I was undressed. I asked him to leave for a few minutes as I was not expecting maintenance on that day. Afterwards I called the leasing office as to why this occurred and asked what I can do to prevent this in the future...they gave no reason and did not care about the situation at all. Additionally the hot water went out 20+ times within the year I lived there and took anywhere from 1 to 3 days to fix. Washer and dryer were consistently broken and overcharged my card multiple times. If you do happen to live there I would not advise using the laundry units. These are only a few issues I had with Urban Phenix, however I would advise looking elsewhere. You can find much better customer service and building maintenance elsewhere. read more

Terrible experience. Resident of two years. I was towed and had to pay $220 that i did not have to get my car back for simply not having my parking tag not showing clearly. They have my car make and license plate on file. Car was towed at 3am. Talk about sketchy. Debbie was super rude and unprofessional. The units are hot in the summer and super cold in the winter. This is the worst apartment you can live in. The thermostat/heater in the apartment almost never worked, and frequently dropped down into the mid fifties. I was told that "it has a hard time heating up when it gets really cold outside..." Also, a leak occurred in one of the bedrooms. It took them 3 weeks to even start fixing the leak! They have the worse response to any issues you have with the apartment, and then do a terrible job "trying" to fix it. And on top of that, it is sooooo dirty...dog poop and pee everywhere you walk. Have lived here for the past few years. I will say you're getting a large space for what they charge (compared to what most of the rent in Denver is like). There are a couple of things that need improvement in regards to management (e.g. pool area maintenance went downhill this past summer, no umbrellas in the pool area, etc.). I have to say that the Assistant Manager Amy Ignatuk is great. She always has a cheerful disposition, is really helpful and responsive to my questions and issues. Having her job isn't easy, pretty much fielding complaints daily, but she still manages to have a great upbeat attitude. read more

I'm a longtime resident of 1150 S. Birch St. The management comes and goes, as do the owners it seems. Amy is one of the best managers I've had the pleasure of working with. The owners, not so much. Amy is always courteous and helpful. There are various issues over which she has no control but the mainentance crew, Jorge and Carlos, couldn't be more helpful or courteous. I don't usually hear my neighbors, with a couple of exceptions. Repeated visits from Denver's Finest caused by a couple of folks who can't seem to get their act together. My primary complaint is the smoking and pot. Sometimes when walking into the building or into a hallway, the smell is overpowering. The security cameras don't seem to function properly - too pixeliated it seems. Whoever is consistently breaking the security gates seems to evade identification. The dumpsters should be emptied more often. The washing machine on the right in the laundry room and the dryer on the left should be replaced. I would have given five stars because Amy deserves them. The review got dinged one star because of the owners - but Amy is terrific. read more

Toured here while looking for apartments. Only one staff member was available and arrived 40 minutes late for our scheduled tour. She was a kind person but very unprofessional and kept mixing up the pricing and dates of the units I was looking at. The model apartments themselves weren't bad, but the shared pool/patio/laundry areas gave off a cheap motel vibe. I imagine it would be a fine place to live until you needed something from management, in which case you're doomed. read more

I have been living at the Phenix at 4 mile location for more than a year now and I can't say enough good things about this place. Firstly I needed to find a place asap and within a day of putting in my application they responded to me and I was moved in within a week. The apartments were completely renovated only afew years ago so the spaces are new and modern. However my favorite part of living here by far has to be the staff. Janie Moody and Kim Magana in the office are amazing! Everytime I come into the office they are always there to great me with a smile and a friendly greeting. They always have an answer to my questions and solve every issue I have so quickly and efficiently. Not to mention Anthony in maintaince. Everytime I put in a request he's there that day. Sometimes within minutes. And Theresa always keeps the hallways so clean and fresh smelling and the windows at the entrance to clean. All the neighbors I've meet have also been so friendly. It's truely a great community to be a part of. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean and welcoming community atmosphere. Oh and P.S. the pool and hot tub are always well maintained and amazing on these hot summer days :) read more

I have lived here for about a year now. I have lived in about four other places in Glendale. I finally feel like I have a found a place where I am comfortable and happy. My neighbors are friendly. The staff is also very helpful and approachable. It is a few blocks from the Cherry Creek Trail and also a few blocks from the Infinity Park Rec Center. Great location. I was visiting family this past Easter and ended up staying a little longer then expected. They live at the four mile property and had an issue with plumbing. The entire first floor backed up. A maintenance Tech by the name of Anthony came over and quickly jumped into action. It was pretty impressive that he stayed until the job was complete! Lived here for almost two years, would not recommend unless you want to live in college all over again. There is dog poop and pee all over the entry ways and through out the gravel in the complexes. Strong scents of it on warm days. Laundry room is very small for the amount of people in each building and rarely clean. Also management does not care about there residents, noise complaints get thrown under the rug, they just care about renting out the apartment and not about your well being. Do not move here. Other than the location being amazing but even that becomes tainted in a fog of such a strong disdain taste for the management and all of their folleys 1.all invoices(bills) are emailed which is not a fail safe plan of acquiring your bills 2.no responses to repair/replace request (tried numerous times) ended up doing it my self and no compensation for doing so 3.shared utilities are as random as the lottery with no break down sheet of the charges to which could be anything 4.they will tell you there is plenty of parking. Thos is also false only non paid parking is blocks away and should ypu want more than one spot ots mprw money a month. 5. Say you do decide to pay for an extra spot what atr you paying for the lots are never de-iced or snow plowed. The lots also carry no kind of security (other than they will tow you on a moments notice legally or not) 6. If they so happen to not like you as a tennant or human they woll ravish your money in all ways possible and Will certtainly not hesitate to rent ypur apt out before giving you the opportunity to renew and say "oops"....(literally) 7.very inept staff running the front office from the ones who are only lease pushers to the ones handling the day to day"problem solving". Neither of which show an inkling of brain power to handle there jobful duties In summary of this post I think its fair If not reasonable to say its a major corporation money grubbing(from tenants), penny pinching(for themselves) type management system of sorts read more

She was able to answer all of my questions right away with integrity. I only had an appt to view one apartment, but Olivia happily showed me another property within the same time slot. Wouldnt live here if it was free. Place is so disgusting everything is either dirty, rusted, or has mold with paint over it! The floors in the apartment are cheap just like all the so called upgrades. I had to transfer to a 3rd floor because the floor boards are so squeaky. Whatever that's understandable but I had to pay 250$ transfer fee to move to a new apartment on top floor. They said the fee was for cleaning and paint etc..and should have cost 500$ because that's what it actually cost the apt complex. My new apartment has a yellow stained toilet seat which is so awesome. Dirty bathtub that was clogged on my first shower. The placed looked like a dirty rag and mop water ran through it, in an attempt to clean it. The kitchen still had grease all over it. I haven't had heat all weekend supper awesome! And still haven't been contacted about broken heater its been set at 74 and was 59 degrees in my apartment this morning. The backsplash was unfinished with brown grout coming out of it, very appealing to the eye when cooking. The laundry rooms are gross and dirty, not sure if they even clean my clothes. Cigarette buds are everywhere and everyone seems to smoke! If this sounds great to you then the Urban Phenix is the right spot for you read more

I've been living at Urban Phenix for about a year and a half now. Initially when I first moved in, I was excited. Shortly after I became very frustrated with the management here. The leasing agent that was here stopped contacting me back every single time my roomate and I would contact him and there was questions that were constantly left unanswered. Thankfully, they replaced him. Shoutout to Amy for taking over, she has been fantastic. Questions are always answered quickly. Her presence has completely changed the dynamic of this place. I would give her 5 stars if I could. I do however have some issues with the apartment itself. First when moving in, I was shown a unit that had brown carpet in both rooms and was told our unit will be exactly the same. The day we moved in, our unit had one room with brown carpet, the other was white and didn't look the cleanest. That would have been nice to know before we got the apartment. I live on the west side of the building on the third floor. It is unbelievably hot during the summer. The small AC unit does absolutely nothing to keep our bedrooms cool. Really there's a small space in the living room that stays cool and that's about it. I haven't spent the majority of the summer in my apartment because of how hot it is. There's been countless times I've slept on the couch in front of the AC unit blasting just to get through the night. Also, our shower is constantly clogged. I have to send in a work order every few weeks (when I am home) for them to unclog the shower. Our bathroom sink is starting to clog too. Not sure why this is happening but I've talked to others living in the 1001 building that have the same issue with their shower. (Also a big shoutout to all the awesome maintenance guys for being so nice and always coming quickly when I send out a work order). I also think it's crazy that 2 bedroom apartments don't come with 2 parking passes. All in all though, I like my place for the most part, just definitely not during the summer. read more

I was having car issues and Brent went out of his way to pull his personal vehicle up to my car and jump start it without complaint. I have lived in the complex for over a year now and have had no problems dealing with any of the individuals in the leasing office. I was living in another apartment complex right across the street before this and believe me when I say this team is on point.
