I recently moved into the Esprit Apartments in Glendale, CO, and I've been impressed from the start. The administrative and maintenance teams are kind, professional, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. The apartments and grounds are very well maintained, and the area near the dumpsters is always clean and free of trash and debris. My apartment was freshly painted, the bedroom carpet was professionally cleaned, and the amenities are relatively new and in good working condition. The rent is reasonable, and I feel I'm getting great value for my money. I visited about 10 apartments in Capitol Hill, Glendale, Lowry, and Montclair before choosing Esprit. Rent was outrageous for what they're offering. Laundry room was never cleaned, or half of the washers and dryers just weren't operating. Always dog poop every where even with their "clean up after your dog" policy. Staff working there were nice but overall not a good complex to live in. Consistent police activity, my car actually got hit from a chase happening in the complex. I never got my deposit back, they used every little thing that I didn't document before move-in against me. The door had tape on it from previous tenants and because I didn't have a previous photo of that I got charged $150 to repaint the door due to damage. Like wtf. Paint in the bathtub was coming up, I made a report to get it fixed and no one ever came. 0/10 don't recommend living here. I leased 2024-2025. read more

Absolutely the worst apartments I've ever lived in. Zero hot water. The wall unit doesn't cool anything and the rooms stay at 85 degrees. The laundry rooms are a joke with most if not all of the machines taking your money and not washing/drying your clothes. I am disabled and regularly call the security AND towing company to remove non disabled cars from spots but both refuse to do so. It's to the point that I'm talking with a lawyer now and have am contacting state and city government officials to discuss the safety and legal concerns of this property. read more

If you do make the mistake to "live" at the trash pile, you will be greeted with Gun fights in the parking lots, drug deals at all times of day, right in front of the office (they must get kick backs). Drunk people breaking into and Deficating in the pool. Your car Will get broken into. You will never see the security company they say patrols the property, and it will take the cops an hour, even after a gun fight and the property will not give up the surveillance video. And after you have endured all of that, They will steal your deposit after you give them more than a 60 day notice because their incompetent employees can't open 2 separate emails. They prey on the weak and raise rent to keep people poor and hope you can never afford to leave. These people do not care about you or your safety. When you move in they ask for 5 star rating for some lame prize but I knew I'd have to write about my experience honestly after 3 years. I moved in July 2020. At first seems great but you realize it's not like it's shown in the photos. They do not enforce the rules as listed in the lease. There is trash on the walk ways and out side of apartments for weeks. My neighbors smoke cigarettes in front of their door so it comes into my apartment and the laundry room in my building so usually smells like cigarettes smoke. A lot of people park not in spaces blocking traffic, taking up the same space for months on end so you can't park near your unit, and people are constantly working on cars in the lots making messes and leaving debris(& oil spills). The mail boxes YOU PAY to have your deliveries secure are always overflowing so they leave your package. The office annoyed when you have something delivered to them. They list times for the gates to be open but never follow them due to crime like car break ins every other week. This forces everyone who lives here in and out of one main entrance which is an annoyance. The pool is often closed due to large groups who do not live here coming over and breaking glass beer bottles in the pool. They now close it Sundays. So hope that's not your day off. The dog park always smells like piss from the parking lot and people do not keep their dogs on leashes out of the park as the lease requires and my dog has been attacked before because of somebody else's bad behavior. The laundry rooms are dirty and wash machine leave wax like residue on your clothes which ruins them. The card reader you use to pre load your Laundry card is often broken or can steal your money if you are not carful. The one main laundry room for the largest building is over used and no one cleans the facility. When they evict people for easy clean up they throw trash off the top floors leaving glass shards to be stepped on or swept into your house. There are lots of evictions and cops being called. About my unit; front door is uneven. Dirt and ants get under easy so it's constantly needing vacuumed and cleaned. The apartment came with chipped corners on the counters and my AC has no settings it just blows kinda cold air at low or high, no actual temperature and the apt is always hot even with the air on. Sits at about 75-80 on a 90+ day. Also makes a noise when you touch it and has pool floaties keeping the hole around it plugged but cold air during winter and A LIVE BAT have gotten through the hole due to shotty work. I was never offered to upgrade my AC. It's very outdated see photo. The bed room has no light you must supply your own bedroom light very odd. I requested my closet be fixed due to the shelving looking like they could break at any moment and they just added a few nails like that would really do something to support the bad work done before I moved in. I decided after three years it's time to move on. I let them know I was leaving and the first thing they said was you need to give 60 days! No concern to why or offering me a different unit. They are money hungry and follow the lease when it comes to them getting paid but never when enforcing the rules to keep the property nice and clean for everyone. Mgmt sits in the office and grounds keepers pick up dog crap all day. They just send emails about cleaning after your dog they don't enforce it and fine people that takes actual work. So don't plan to sit on the nice patches of grass you see in the pictures with family or friends they are full of dog poop. Stepped in it one too many times. MY over all thoughts: the people living here are dirty & out of control (party heavy and lots of kids running around no parents watching). Then the property management could care less about holding up their end of the lease unless it's to make money by charging you fees after you leave to pay for their repairs for the next tenants. Spend the extra couple hundred dollars and move somewhere else. STAY AWAY I wouldn't write this if I didn't care about saving you the pain I endured my friend recommended moved out after 9 months. First - this is GLENDALE not Cherry Creek meaning the first responders aren't Denver Police. The name of this complex is misleading. Firstly, maintenance issues were a constant source of stress, from returning home to be greeted by toilet water coating the entirety of our bathroom (and a good portion of our living room), to water seeping through the walls weeks after move in, it was an extremely stressful experience throughout the year. Moreover, witnessing arrests and policemen on two separate occasions in regards to our neighbors' behavior/criminal activities really jeopardized my sense of safety in my own home. Additionally, imagine my frustration and distress to wake up the day after New Year's Day to walk outside to find that my car was towed for expired tags. I've never been more furious to pay $500 in my life. There are a slew of other things I could write, but the situations listed above impacted my living experience here the most. I do want to point out a few positive aspects of this community. The pool was absolutely lovely 99% of the time (although being sexually harassed by a stranger at the pool was definitely scary), and the amenities were generally nice and well kept. I also want to say that the staff members I interacted with were always very kind. Cesar really assisted me and tried to help me when I had my car towed at the beginning of the year, and Adrean was always very professional and helpful. All in all, it wasn't my favorite living situation, but I do want to send a special shout out to the staff for trying their best a vast majority of the time. read more

The "hot tub" doesn't get hot.. it's NOT heated. The coffee machine in the front office is broken and always has "an error" the printers near the computer don't print- always out of toner or paper. The elevators (when working) are disgusting- I've seen spit/chew, and dog shit in my short 3 weeks of living here... the one little window unit doesn't cool the bedroom, so that'll always be hot. My neighbor said her bike was stolen twice.. I regret moving here and causing my wife so much stress in our relationship. Save yourself and look elsewhere. read more

I love the dog park, really nice community and a lot of effort is made to fix past issues. I have never found an apartment that let me pay a small monthly fee instead of a huge deposit. Its such a game changer and makes moving so doable. Bring yours dog! If they are esa and service animals they are kind enough to wave the pet deposit and pet rent. UNSAFE!! Please be careful!!! I moved here 8 years ago, and one of the big selling points is that it felt like a safe place to be as a single female. Unfortunately, recently a key to my apartment was given to an outside maintenance company with NO notice given to me at all. This is extremely unsafe, not to mention illegal! Thankfully I happened to be home that day, and equally thankfully I wasn't asleep at the time when they arrived. The maintenance people, to their credit, were extremely kind and apologetic, saying that the apartment complex had told them that they had my consent. When I brought this to the office I was told that it was "just a misunderstanding". No apologies or anything. I want to still like this place. It's been my home for a long time, and I'm not one to leave negative reviews. However, if you are considering moving here PLEASE be careful! One word: Roaches. Everywhere. Even if you're a clean person. We have had roaches in our apartment the whole time and while they have come and put some gel on the cracks it never gets better. We are very clean and it's a huge problem. We pay over a grand for a tiny apartment and we have to squish these yucky bugs every day, hot water works only sometimes, the elevators smell like pee, the ice is never cleared from the walkways, Laundry machines are broken, and it says gated community but literally anyone can get in the complex and stab you if they wanted. I'm traumatized from seeing roaches on the walls, ceiling, dishwasher, everywhere...only upside is free gym and a pool..the lake is cool I guess, I saw a cute dog there once. But that's it. If you want a safe and happy living space look elsewhere, unless you have lower standards... THESE PEOPLE TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THEIR RESIDENTS! They will never do anything more than a spray to get rid of pests and brush you off when you ask for a more intense treatment or to do the whole building. Disgusting complex! Free drinks and bagels in the office all the time and they are building a new tennis court. Use that money to fix potholes, great pests, clean our sidewalks! This place is very unsafe. Cars get broken in ALL THE TIMES. The company is a money-hungry dog and leasing office staff are rude. Everytime you come in with a question or concern, they will look at you like you're about to accuse them of something so they get super defensive. Beware of all the random fees they will charge you on top of your rent when you move in or out. Maintenance will come into your unit without permission even when you request them to ask your permission first before they come fix something. Creeps live here and they will follow you and stand outside the balcony to creep inside your window (thank God my neighbor noticed it and let me know so I reported it to the police, but management didn't do anything). Neighbors are loud all the time and very inconsiderate. They will smoke and drink at public areas and let their dogs run off lease and would not pick up poop. There's trash and thrown-away furniture EVERYWHERE. The elevator never gets fixed, so good luck if you live on the 5th floor like I did. PLEASE DON'T STAY HERE. read more

I have never really wrote a review before, but I am I have never been so dissatisfied in an apartment. It has been the absolute WORST. Do NOT stay here. I honestly wish I could rate this 0 stars. Between other people's sewage coming up into the bathtub, packages stolen, inadequate water through the sink and shower, infestation etc, it has been terrible. I have called and called. All they can do is send in a work order (that is not always put in), but anything emergent is seen in a couple days (if you are lucky). I have had to call almost every week because something goes wrong. Extremely disappointed. I was promised a phone call by a manager by the next business day, and have yet to receive one several days after. Also, it states on their front office door and on the website that the office is open until 6 pm, but they are actually open until 5 (sometimes). So if you ever need to speak with them in person, do not rely on them actually being there. Similar to their service, don't rely on them giving it to you. read more

Customer service is ok, but they are really hard to get ahold of. They do not respond to emails in a timely fashion and it often takes multiple follow ups. There is also an issue of dog poop all over the sidewalks and near the elevators and stairs. read more
