I generally don't leave bad reviews, but I make exceptions for the exceptionally frustrating. They essentially refused to repay a portion of my security deposit even after they acknowledged a mistake they had made, arguing that it was some sort of barred oral contract (fyi, oral agreements are enforceable, but this was not even an agreement, just an acknowledgement that they had messed up). I love Skyline 1801. This is the nicest, cleanest apartment with the friendliest management I have ever lived in. The apartment has lots of living space, including a game room, outdoor rooftop, and a few other living spaces, which are always kept absolutely spotless. The management is constantly planning events for the residents and they are all very friendly. I like that this apartment is a friendly community- residents are friendly and so are their dogs! I have been living in one of the two bedroom apartments for about three months and cannot think of a single complaint. Maintenance is incredibly fast. Hands down the best place I've ever lived. Skyline 1801 is not only the greatest location for a city lover (downtown Denver, inches away from everything worthwhile), but it has the most 'extras' I've come across in all of my city dwelling years. Other than the apartments themselves being modern, spacious, well maintained, and reasonably priced, the building itself offers a plentitude of other luxuries, including (but not limited to): a full scale game/activity room, a commons area with a commercial grade kitchen, a gorgeous lobby with an espresso/coffee maker, a dog park, a fully equipped gym and full sized yoga studio, a conference center area, a gorgeous rooftop patio with a fire pit, stainless steel patio grills, and so much more! All amenities aside, the absolute best thing about Skyline 1801 is the service. The care and attention you get from the leasing and maintenance staff is insurmountable. It is because of these fine people and their dedication to my wife and I as tenants that we renewed our lease after the first year. Whelp, I've been living here now for a little over two years and I could not be more than absolutely thrilled with our experience. There are of course always ups & downs during transitions and building maintenance, but the building's team truly takes care of all residents! To include updated information from our first two years of living at Skyline, read below! (SOMEHOW, my previous review was removed...) - Professional Location is better than I ever imagined. Situated in the heart of the Central Business District; nearly everyone in this building walks to work (or school), including myself. - Professional Location may be wonderful, but Personal Location is arguably more convenient with transportation, shopping, bowling, movie, and cuisine opportunities in all directions! - Common Areas, Common Areas, Common Areas!! As I mentioned before, Skyline 1801 offers a variety of options to sit back and relax! In my initial review, I said that it had 5 areas to hangout alongside two fitness centers. Everyone in this building utilizes these spaces, creating a tight community within. They're all furnished and attentively accommodating for any event you're looking to host and/or there just to get out of your apartment! - Team Skyline makes living here a breeze! They are real people here usually seven days a week and definitely make residents' lives easier and more enjoyable. The building engineers are on top of it and will help you with anything you need done in your apartment. Likewise, the managers are constantly planning neighbor events on their dime (to name a few: Sushi Night, Cocktails & Canvas, Haunted House Party Bus, Furry Friends Photo Shoot, Pumpkin Carving Party, Homemade Taco Night, etc). This is probably the best perk! - Active Building, a similar concept to Facebook but your "friends" are your neighbors, is a great way to communicate with management, fellow residents, place a service order, pay your rent, etc. I love how many people use it when they can't find their drill, or need to borrow sugar, or offer to give free personal training lessons for the upcoming week! - Lastly, I want to stress on how Pet Friendly this place is. (aka: if *you* are not, PLEASE just don't move here!) I would say 90% of residents own a pet - and the majority are dogs. With multiple enclosed/secured common areas around Skyline, 9 times out of 10 you are greeted by a dog coming home from rather a human. But we love it and our dogs do too! So many best friends in this building!! ***Transportation Specifics*** - RTD Bike Rentals are directly across the street from the Leasing Office Entrance. - SkyRide (to-and-from Airport) is located at the Denver Bus Center/Greyhound Bus Station at 19th & Arapahoe (go through indoor center to east garage) or 19th & Curtis. Leave your car at home! $11 Cash Only for One-Way or online tickets for $20 for Round-Trip. And they run every hour between 4am and 2am! - Two Public Bus Routes outside of the building - one at 18th & Arapahoe before 7-Eleven and the other is in the back of the building by the parking lot. My previous roommate and I are traveling nurses and move from city to city every thirteen weeks. It can be difficult at times to find an apartment complex that's willing to lease a unit under six months. However, the management at Skyline 1801 were more than willing to offer a lease for the time needed. They were easy to reach and quick to respond to questions via phone or email. I've lived in many, many apartment complexes and I found the staff and management here to be one of the best and friendliest I've come across. The location was perfect for us! It's near 16th St. Mall and the LoDo area which is full of bars, breweries and restaurants. Being travel nurses and having to move so often means we have to be willing to go out and mingle with people to make friends for the short time we're around. This area made it easy for us to do so. Also, another perk was having Coors field just around the corner. The apartment itself was well kept and seems to have been recently renovated. The rooftop had beautiful views of the mountains and a fire pit to hang around. One of the major reasons we chose Skyline 1801 was because how dog friendly they are. We both travel with dogs and it was great to watch our dogs run around their dog park and meet other fur babies. I feel as if the majority of the people who lived there had a dog. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is moving to the area. Not only because of the location, but because how great the management and staff are. Awesome, luxurious apartments with an unbeatable location. Each apartment have its own washer/dryer and beautiful granite countertops, and access to some amazing common rooms. The roof is one of my favorite places to show anyone who comes to visit as the view is breathtaking and the firepits will create a perfect ambience for any night. The game room is also a great time, with a poker table, ping pong table, pool table and shuffle board. The gym, although smaller, is always clean and the yoga room has P90x for anyone feeling ambitious. The management here is awesome too. Krystal is always willing to help out with any issues, and will even bring packages up to your apartment if you cant make it home in time to pick it up yourself. The go out of your way to make sure that your apartment really does become your home. I immediately felt safe and welcomed after moving to Skyline. The management also plans events for all residences. We had a New Years Eve party with an open bar and so many appetizers. They host lots of events which is a great way to get to know more residents you may not normally run into. I have no complaints regarding my decision to move into Skyline, thanks to the amazing Management and the great amenities. read more

I have lived at Skyline 1801 for the past year and I am excited to renew my lease this month because this is the best place I have ever lived. Not only are the staff extremely personable and accommodating, but the amenities are amazing... Free coffee service in the lobby, rooftop patio with fire pits, pool tables, workout area. The location and views are perfect for downtown living, and the price is right. I especially want to recognize Krystal, who has remembered my name since day one. She takes care of all of my concerns and/or requests immediately, and I can tell she cares about this property and wants to keep her residents happy. I have seen some of the negative reviews written about the property and these are more than likely the individuals who are letting their dogs poop on the rooftop and leaving it there, and being held accountable for their actions. The only issue I have is that the parking is uncovered, and the occasional residents that let their doggies doo on the roof. read more

I lived here for 3 years...when I first moved in management was amazing. Jill was the manager and she really cared about the tenants and the building, it showed. They had changes over the years, Jill left and the amazing maintenance staff followed her, it all started to fall apart at that point. The only reason I stayed for 3 years, is because I hate moving and it was convenient for me to live a 10 minute walk from work. Starting with the pet policy and dog park... Management IGNORES DENVER BREED RESTRICTIONS. If you have a pit bull and want to live in Denver city limits, live at Skyline 1801, because they don't care! I was attacked by one of the residents' pit bull...TWICE (this same dog also attacked other Skyline residents and dogs). Management just looked the other way when I told them what happened. My friend that used to live in the building was also attacked by a resident's dog, a different dog, but pit-bull mix. These were attacks that sent people to the hospital! The people that own dogs and live there, can't seem to grasp the concept of picking up after your own pets. There was always dog poop all over the dog park and it smelled horrible! Residents there are so lazy! Also, management would send notice after notice "You must keep your dog on a leash at all times, unless in the dog park". Some tenants would act so entitled and still wouldn't leash their pets from their apartment to the dog park! Just because it is a dog friendly community doesn't mean you can allow your dog to run free in the building. One occasion, I was trying to exit my own apartment with my dog (already leashed) and someone was letting their big lab run up and down the halls, the dog tried to come into my apartment... the owner wasn't in sight! Parking lot and alleyway... If you park in the open lot, prepare yourself. You are going to encounter people shooting up heroin at 7:45am and people taking a dump next to your car. It is gross and unsafe! The alleyway behind the building (between Skyline1801 and the open parking lot for residents) is NOT SAFE! I told management about these ongoing incidents and yeah, they would send someone to clean up the human waste so I could get in my car, but basically said what happens in the alleyway isn't their concern, and for me to "call the police". Apartment size and appliances... The apartments are small, 550sq ft in the one bedroom. The so called "walk in closet" should be called a "stand-in closet", they are tiny! The building is proud to promote the in-unit washer/dryer, but fails to tell you that you can only run the washer OR the dryer, you CANNOT have them running at the same time! This makes doing laundry a nightmare, and it takes so much longer than it should. Everything except for the fridge is mini, and cheap! The stove is mini, the dishwasher-mini, the sink...yup mini! I will say, the cabinet space in the kitchen is decent. Neighborhood... It is a convenient location. Close to LoDo bars and restaurants, Union Station and Coors field. However, it is even closer to the Greyhound bus station which attracts a lot of riffraff. Also, the older building one block down at 20th and Arapahoe is always needing police attention. This past June, someone was waving a gun at people from a balcony and then actually fired the gun after police were called... I heard the gun shots from my bedroom at Skyline. Another thing the management will not point out to you... the building shares an alleyway with the fire station. You hear the fire engine sirens about every hour or so. Moving out... After moving out, I hired a cleaning company to clean the 550 square foot apartment top to bottom/inside and out. They did an amazing job! It looked incredible, completely spotless! The carpet looked brand new as well, never had one stain on it, so it looked like it did when I moved into Skyline. I thought I was sure to get my full deposit back. I received a notice in the mail, showing $85 deducted from my deposit for their cleaning crew, and $107 deducted to replace carpet! Neither of which needed to be done! If they wanted to hire and charge me for a cleaning crew, then they should have told me, I would have cleaned the place myself and done an average job, not paid a company to make it perfect. I wanted my full deposit returned, which is why I went through the process of hiring a cleaning company. I spoke with the Skyline leasing people several times before moving out, told them I filled all the tiny holes in the wall left from hanging pictures, they insisted "Oh you didn't even need to do that. Unless you punch a hole in the wall or stain the carpet, you'll get your full deposit back"- NOT THE CASE! I was an excellent resident, I rarely complained and ALWAYS paid the rent on time. This is how they treat you in return. I will say I enjoyed the large private balconies, and being able to reserve the amenities for private events. read more

My husband and I moved to 1801 Skyline at the beginning of December 2014. We moved here from India and found this place online about a week before we moved and we were not disappointed . Moving to a new country that you've never lived in can be stressful. We chose to look in this area because it had a great walk score and was walkable to our jobs. Out of the other high end apartments in the area it was similarly priced but Skyline seems better built, better amenities and just two block from 16Th Street Mall . Best place to live you can asked for in Denver Downtown !! Great management Jill , Amanda , Andrea , Eddy and Eric are always on their toes to help. I was new to the country when I moved here and got help even with the issues not related like where to shop, Neighborhood Banks ,good places to dine and visit etc. highly recommended. I can honestly say that the apartment, the neighborhood, the amenities, the management team...everything about Skyline exceeded my expectations, and I was very happy to have lived there for the time that I did. Whenever I had an issue, it was resolved quickly .Maintenance issue (which was always minor, like a bulb change required , the quality here is really high) - Done within a few hours. Since I have relied on Yelp for many recommendations, including leasing at this apartment unseen, I have decided to give a detailed honest review: Pros: * Location - just two block from 16th St (which has a free shuttle that runs completely up/down all day), pretty easy to get in/out of the city, right across the street from Forza (or Tru Fit now), can walk to pretty much anywhere you really need. There is also a B Cycle hub right across the street, a Hertz 24/7 car pretty close, as well as other car sharing programs nearby. * Staff - they are pretty much all top notch, very accommodating, friendly, and quick to respond to any needs * Dog Friendly - everyone seems to have a dog here, and I believe the reason is because the complex is so dog friendly. Although recently, they have become pretty strict about requiring the pet to be leashed, even in the dog park. Cons: * I see homeless people on the corner of Arapahoe and 18th St every day. I know this is a city and is expected, but just letting you know there are quite a few around * Noise - it doesn't really both me, but of course I can hear the people above and next to me. I also hear the elevator when it moves. This is pretty normal for any apartment, but is definitely not silent. Also, since there are many dogs, you may hear barking a lot if you are unfortunate enough to get set up next to a loud dog. No problem for me though. * Common Areas - kept very clean. There are a bunch of TVs, a kitchen, bike repair room, dog washing room, roof lounge, etc. They are all kept fairly neat, and aesthetic. * Gym - pretty small, not many weights. Also, no pool or hot tub. They do however have studios, where you can do yoga, P90X, etc. General Information * Internet - internet is included with rent, and you get ~5 mbs. To upgrade, you need to put internet in your own name, and pay $30-100 a month depending on how fast you want. * TV - basic channels are included, you pay $10 a month for an HD Box, and more money depending on what additional channels you want * Parking - have a couple options, including gated/un-gated. Runs about $100-150/month. * Size - awesome, huge balcony. The apartments certainly aren't huge, but enough space for a single person or couple. Lots of storage in the kitchen and bathrooms. I believe it is around 850 sq ft for the two bedroom. The only options are 1 and 2 bedrooms, nothing bigger. * Apartment - granite counter tops, in the bathroom too, hardwood floors, carpeted bedrooms, and plenty of outlets. First of all, Skyline lies about square footage. It's a little smaller than they say. The biggest thing for me is the price of rent for what you get. A tiny place, poor appliances, no A/C (only works when 70+ degrees), poor hours, an untrustworthy staff, outdoor parking, and a fire station right next door, which goes off twice and hour. When the AC wouldn't work, the staff rudely told me to "open my window" to cool it down. Did I mention there's a fire station next door? This caused for many unrestful nights. The building is so old, we had our water turned off for an indefinite amount of time, fire alarm troubles, and a one way AC system. The roof and gym were closed at unnecessary times (covid affected this, but could've been better). Last but not least, upon move out, the building managers told us we could break our lease with 2 months notice and not have to pay rent for the final months. So, we rented a new spot, believing we wouldn't be paying rent at Skyline anymore. However, while moving out our belongings, the building manager told me our lease isn't up and we have to pay rent for the final month. I take some blame, as we could've read the agreement more closely before signing. However, I 100% believe it was intentional to mislead us and it was a complete snake move. Overall, I give skyline a 2/10 for apartments. Our new place is more than double the size, has better amenities, is in a better location relative to LoDo, RiNo, LoHi and Highlands, and it's $200 cheaper a month! Only reason I give it 2 points is because it has a nice rooftop and game room, but it doesn't make up for the rest of the issues it has, nor the bad taste they left in my mouth. I love living here! A lot of downtown apartment complexes are HUGE and you don't ever connect with anyone. 1801 is different. Everyone is VERY friendly, especially the leasing agents. You actually learn faces and make friends! Krystal lives here (one of the leasing agents) so if you ever need ANYTHING she is there for you! She has done a ton for people, even on a personal level. Brand new appliances, up-to-date cabinets, washer & dryer, wood floors, pet friendly, online community website (kind of like facebook, but for your neighbors), free coffee, lobby that is open 24/7, walk in closets, and HUGE balconies! Not to mention the roof top patio which will completely stun your friends! Oh, and the dog park, which is rare to have downtown. (Grass..downtown? My pup approves!) and the location!!! OH MY GOD the location! (Minus the occasional homeless man.. But that's downtown living, baby!) Sixteenth street is right there, the bars, and food! I love it here! Anyways yeah. I say go for it! Waste of a beautiful building. First, the good: The building is incredible. centrally located, great rooftop & game room, remodeled units. Be warned: Once you're in and the lease is filed, you will be treated like shit. I had high hopes for this complex due to the amenities and local management company, but sadly I have been nothing but disappointed in the service that I have received. In my first conversation with a member of the front office I was yelled at over the phone, I brought this up to the higher management and they said "sorry, I was not here for that and cannot comment on this. Can we start fresh?" I am not the only one that has been mistreated by this specific member of the company, and I expect much better customer service. Secondly, I have lived here over a month and I am STILL not on the call box to allow guests into the building. I was told that they needed to reset the internet and its been over two weeks, again extremely disappointing service. I have had to go to the lobby every time anyone comes to visit. I had a broncos party on the rooftop but couldnt spend time with all of my guests as I had to go to the lobby for each person and I had about 20 people there. I let them know I was not in the call box on January 11th, and as of this date, it's still not fixed. If they would have told me the truth from the start, I would not be upset. I was lied to by the same member of the company that yelled at me. Poor service AGAIN Third, the security door that protects the alley of the building has been broken 3 times in the month that I have been here. This is especially scary since I witnessed a robbery in the alley behind the complex! I wish they would just fix the problem and stop putting band-aids on it. Fourth, the firepits on the roof have been broken for months so dont expect to relax by them until they get that repaired. I was especially excited for this feature. I am posting this in hopes that it serves as motivation for this company to step things up.Customer service should be a major focus, and I have not seen it so far. I was looking forward to signing a longer lease, but am now forced into a position to begin my search elsewhere. This complex is close to my work and has a lot of amenities that I love, but noone should be treated with that much disrespect. We've lived at Skyline for 8 months now as our first apartment in Denver. Moving out here was last minute, but moving in was a breeze. Krystal and Jill are fantastic to work with! Our building engineers, Eddie & Eric, are beyond nice and willing to fix anything. I would only live here if you like dogs because the building is filled with them. The dog park is a big perk as well, I haven't found another apartment complex with a fenced in grass area this big for dogs to run around. Even with all the furry friends, the common areas are very clean! We've never had any issue that couldn't be resolved right away since the staff is so helpful. read more

Everything from the application process to moving in to packages being delivered, has been seamless. I had to rent the apartment without seeing it due to an issue with a lease I signed that fell through at the Apartments at Denver Place across the street (never rent there!) Andre'a was amazing, took all my info and got me approved same day, and helped turn a stressful situation into a positive experience, she and all the staff have been amazing. When I arrived I was very impressed with the apartment, the building, the views, the people, the staff, the location, the amenities (rooftop deck, game and TV room, community events). I have been apartment hunting for about a month now and Chuck (Gonzales I believe?) at Skyline was the single most friendly and helpful rep I have dealt with to date -- and I've looked at almost a dozen properties. The building is nice, clean, sunny, well built, the people are friendly, and the amenities are excellent (best rooftop I've seen in Denver, easily!). I moved here for a travel RN job and needed a short term place. I was attempting to sublease from another tenant, the current tenant had already leased to someone else. The apartment complex was great about telling me about the issue, used same application, and finding me an apt within the building and making everything super easy. This all happened long distance with very little needs from me (just sign a contract). The building is exactly as the pictures depict and is kept very, very clean. There is a large yoga room, gym (with new equipment, x3 large community areas, rooftop deck, and game room. There is someone to collect packages and if something comes up with maintenance, they make every effort to make sure that you are aware and if needed compensated. I have recommended this place to several friends, my company, and current people living in Denver. The apts are recently renovated. Large, workable kitchen with granite counters in neutral colors, that opens into a living room. Large balcony, big enough for x2 chairs and x2 bikes. Spacious bedroom with sizable closet (not walk in). Large bathroom with plenty of storage. I live here alone but I could easily see living in the one bedroom with someone else or snagging one of their 2 bedrooms. Only downfall, is that the backside is very close to some large fan, which is very noisy and I keep my windows closed because of it. I would ask for an apt facing Arapahoe St (very quiet). Trash chute on every floor. You do have to take recycling to the basement but the elevator goes to the basement. Dog washing station in the basement. Bike repair station in the basement. Storage units for purchase, which look roomy. I haven't had a need for one. For the area its very reasonable with almost all utilities included. There is parking for extra fee but it is small and I have been on the waitlist for 6 months. They have secured parking spaces across the street in a city lot but I have had zero issues with the lot. Dog friendly and almost everyone has a dog. Most (if not all) of the dogs are very trained and quiet. Living right downtown makes it easy to get to other areas of Denver fairly easily, in all methods of transportation. There is a bike share right across the street from the apt and it takes about 10 min riding to Cap Hill, Uptown, and little further. 20 min to Baker/Cherry Creek. 5 min bike ride to Cherry Creek trail. I usually wait about 4 min for an Uber/Lyft. Super convienent to walk to Union Station, Coors Field, and 16th St Mall. A new King Soopers was put in about 6-8 blocks from the apt, making it even easier to stay in downtown. Close to I-25, and about 3 exits from 70, super quick to get out of town and head to the mountains in any direction. I have literally never lived in an apartment complex as great as Skyline and probably never will again because the management team is awesome, PROACTIVE, and they actually care about making this a great community to live in. They are constantly upgrading the building's many amenities, and they proactively fix anything that's broken without needing to be asked. The maintenance guys are always around, are really friendly, and are super prompt - I've never had to wait more than an hour or two to get something fixed. They are also always putting together great community events which are well attended by everyone in the building. The very basics make this apartment complex super nice: the location (in LoDo) is perfect and close to everything. Two blocks to Ophelia's. Five minute walk to Larimer Square. Five minute walk to the 16th street mall. Tons of bars, gyms, restaurants, theatres, comedy venues, etc. I literally walk to everything and have so much fun in this neighborhood. The prices cannot be beat considering the location, the apartments are really nice and really high quality, and the building amenities are dope. Seriously, this is everything they have: 1.) Yoga room with free yoga classes every Monday night 2.) 24 fitness center 3.) A dog park with REAL grass onsite that they replace regularly, not tiny astroturf patch on top of the roof that your dog will never use 4.) A dog wash station so you never have to wash your dog in your bathtub 5.) A business center with computers and printing stations 6.) A separate conference room that you can reserve for meetings or study in 7.) A game room with shuffleboard, pool, darts, poker, ping pong, foozeball, and flat screens. 8.) Another huge room with a kitchen, couches, and flat screens for hosting. 9.) A really nice rooftop deck with heaters 10.) A night time security guard 11.) A bike repair workshop 12.) Another courtyard with firepits and grills I seriously love this building so much I would recommend it to anyone, anytime, anywhere. LOVE Skyline! Not only is the management team super friendly, but very helpful in any way they can be. I just recently moved in from Chicago and moving day was a breeze. Also very quick with maintenance requests. I think the location was a perfect fit because you are just close enough to LODO but not too close where you get all the drunks running around being loud. I have a one bedroom and at first was very hesitant about the size but it ended up working out perfectly, mainly due to the large cabinet space. I actually am trying to find space to fill. Overall great spot to live! read more

Would love to give them zero stars. I am glad B. Anne M. had luck with Skyline 1801 when she relocated to Denver, but I have had the opposite experience. Skyline 1801 seemed like everything we were looking for in an apartment to make our move from London, UK to Denver easy and comfortable, however I have contacted them twice and no one has ever had the courtesy to respond. I'm sure the apartments are great, but their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. read more

What a great find for the money. Moved from the Mercantile Square Lofts (no amenities, balconies, in-unit washer/dryers or even kitchen cabinets). Skyline has all of those things (that should be standard) and more. Gorgeous, newly renovated units with high end fixtures and counters, gym(s), great spaces for parties and an overall fun/trendy aesthetic. The staff is very friendly and will take care of any matter in a very timely fashion. Please listen - Do not live here. It seems like every other week there is a problem. The hot water has broken twice in the last month. I hope you enjoy cold showers. Even when it does work, it takes forever to get hot. I often turn the shower on and do something else for 15 minutes because that how long it takes to heat up. What really frustrates me is that the rooms only have the option for heat or AC and its up to management to decide which one is in use. You have no say on this. It was 80 degrees in our apartment and management still had the building set to heat. There is no fan in the bedrooms either, so your only choice is to open the hot air window. They will also fail to mention there is a fire station right behind the building so you will hear fire truck sirens 24/7. The elevators are constantly breaking down. We had to walk 5 flights of stairs with our groceries this last time. Our living room light randomly turns on. I have woken up in the middle of the night, twice, to the light on in the living room. Additionally there is a really sketchy alley behind the building. There are fights there all the time, yelling, screaming, and I recently found a heroin needle in the parking lot. Bums will take a shit between the cars in the parking lot. There is always strange people walking around and it doesn't feel safe. Strongly do NOT recommend. read more

Just moved here about a month ago, and I love it! The amenities are fantastic, there is a dog park with plenty of dogs for my dog to play with all the time, and the customer service I have gotten from the managers has been amazing. Krystal and Amanda have helped me with countless things and have been nothing but sincere and kind to me. Andrea is very sweet too! Definitely recommend living here, only thing that isn't great is the size of the washer and dryer, however there are at least some in the apartments! read more
