The apartments are nice and the location is fabulous. However, customer service lacks considering the price you pay monthly for "luxury" apartment living. The filter in our refrigerator needed replaced but they claim as a renter you're responsible for the cost. This is also the case for light bulbs. It took management a month to just tell us where to find a replacement bulb as no local store (Home Depot, Lowes, etc..) carried this special light bulb. You would think the management would at least carry a par level of these items if they expect you to pay for them.... I have lived in a dozen apartment communities and have never paid to replace one light bulb... Prior to Christmas, some dog (s) urinated and defecated in front of the elevator on our floor... it took a week to professionally clean as they claim their vendors did not work prior to the holidays. I even asked if I could pay for a professional carpet cleaner to come and perform the work for them and the management could reimburse me but they claim they didn't have the authority... really?... so, they let the residents suffer through the holidays with this smell... When my better half complained about the smell, they asked if it was coming from our apartment (they apologized for that smart-alec comment quickly however).... The most frustrating of all is that my garage remote would not work for six months as I had to hold it out of my sun roof every time to access my parking space. Their story was that my "fancy" car had metal in my windshield and was causing the issue, not their system... really? I only have six months on my lease left and have already given notice to move out... if I am going to pay almost $3,000 a month for rent, I expect just a little more customer service than what this small management company provides. If you plan on living in a luxury apartment in LoHi, I would recommend a professional large management company such as Holland Residential at Line 28; www.line28atlohi.com. If you don't mind slow to no response with your issues, Prospect on Central might be your cup of tea but the other three residents I have met have all complained to me about similar issues and plan on moving out asap too. read more

I've been living at Prospect on Central for about 3 months now, and I love it so far. The Highlands are a pricey area, but I was lucky to come across the last studio available here because for their price (less or the same as others), the complex is much nicer, quiet, and an overall great place to live. Angela (manager) is seriously great and takes care of you whether you have a ton of stupid questions (like I did) or need anything else. I've only had to submit one maintenance request, but it was done in a timely manner and they were very good about communicating with me since I couldn't be there to make sure my cats were okay. Angela also plans resident happy hours which is really cool, as well as having competitions to win things such as sports tickets. Apartments can be loud, but these ones aren't, or maybe it's because people are always out and about since the location is great! I love just being about to walk downtown or even enjoy the good food in the Highlands itself. Union Station is a 20 min walk away which is great, because I take trips a lot so not having to drive and park to the airport is nice. The RTD to the airport is super easy and cheap. There's a nice courtyard with a view of the city, as well as a salt water hot tub. Again, everything is well taken care of and very clean in all the common areas. The gym is small but better than nothing, and residents definitely take care of cleaning that after using it. Overall, its an amazing place to live! I had such a hard time finding a place when I moved here back in November but am so thankful I came across this. On the day I toured it, I ran into the owner of the complex (who I thought was a resident) and asked how it was living here. She said she actually lives her herself, so I thought that spoke a lot to how much she cares about the complex, the residents, and making sure everything is running smoothly. read more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. This complex is a prison, does not care about you, will completely screw you over and operates with favoratism, DISCRIMINATION and in direct violation of the law. THEIR OPERATIONS ARE ILLEGAL. I moved home to help my hurting family amidst a global health crisis as they face violent protests in their neighborhood. After a month of flushing rent down the toilet, I found a friend willing to sublet for 2 months while I am here so that I can keep using my money to help my family and this country. THEY REFUSED AND THREATENED ME WITH A LAWSUIT. How is it legal to prohibit someone to do what they want with THEIR apartment???? It isn't! They are cruel, evil, punitive criminals. Moving into this dump was the worst thing I ever did!!! Biggest regret of my life. They said I need to be here for 6 months in order to sublease. My lease will end before that happens! They also said they allowed 7 people to sublease my apartment before me which is why they can't now. So they clearly let everyone do this but are discriminating against ME. They are BIGOTS. Now I am trapped and stuck here and forced to live in this rotting militant building. FYI it does NOT look like the pictures and you will be miserable here. SAVE YOURSELF. I've lived here for two plus years and absolutely love it! The building itself is incredibly clean and well-maintained - the hallways even smell great! The management is very reliable and responsive (in addition to being nice and friendly!); if I put in a maintenance request in the morning, I know it will be completed by the time I get home from work. Our apartment is also very quiet, we've never heard our neighbors and only occasionally hear footsteps from the apartment above. It's also one of the friendliest buildings I've ever lived in, I know most of my neighbors and have become good friends with a few (thanks to the monthly building happy hours at Central Bistro). The building is very secure and the garage is even heated. I have a dog and the building is very dog-friendly, with an area outside dedicated for dogs to use the bathroom. The only downfall? I wish our apartment had a bit more kitchen storage, but that's a small complaint compared to how great everything else is. For all this praise, it may seem like a false review, but I just can't say enough good things about living here! read more

We love living at Prospect on Central! It is the easiest place we have ever lived. Walkable to so many restaurants, bars, sporting events (20-25 mins from Sports Authority, Pepsi, and Coors). There is a restaurant/bar (Central Bistro) in the building where each tenant receives a 15% discount. The staff at Central Bistro is very friendly, they have great food and drink. The building itself was really well designed. The gym is perfect with top of the line equipment, open 24/7. Trash shoots, recycling, parking, and bicycle storage. It is a safe community, there is surveillance in all of the common areas and all outside doors lock behind you for peace of mind. Since everything is in one building, the gym, trash, etc. it makes it feel safe. The property management at Prospect is organized, informative, and friendly. If you ever have a concern or help with anything they are there to assist. We are so happy and proud to live at Prospect on Central in LoHi! read more

Prospect on Central is situated in the perfect location. There are tons of restaurants all around Lohi all within walking distance, and you can take the pedestrian bridge right to the downtown Union Station area for even more shops and restaurants. Also, the Cherry Creek trail is right outside your door. Having a parking garage is awesome in the winter. The apartments are new construction so electricity bills are SO cheap and you don't have to deal with things breaking down and needing to be repaired. Maintenance will sometimes show up at my door 15 minutes after I put in a request, so you never have to worry about waiting an inordinate amount of time for things to get fixed. Prospect on Central has been the perfect find for us! It is located in a central location with quick access to go anywhere. We've enjoyed living here since April 2013 and have never had issues with anything in our apartment. The office/leasing staff have always made themselves available to us anytime of the day or night with concerns. I appreciate how clean and professional they keep the facility looking. It was especially important to us that it was safe and secure living and that's what we've experienced. Prospect has been my home for over a year now. The management is fantastic and the people who own the building are always around to make sure things are running smoothly. So much nicer than the big apartment complexes owned and managed by people who live in other states. The guaranteed, one included parking spot makes coming and going easy (since all the other apartments in the area are asking residents to park on the streets). I have never waited longer that 24 hours for maintenance requests and have only had one or two in my time there. The area is great with restaurants, breweries and pretty much everything you need in walking distance. read more

This is a great place to live! The units and building are clean and modern, assigned garage parking space and each unit has a balcony. The courtyard has a great view of the Denver skyline and an electric fire pit and has grill. The building are sound proofed very well and you rarely hear your neighbors. The sound of I25 is still audible but very muffled as long as your windows are closed. The staff is friendly and the maintenance crew handles issues in a timely manner. The rent prices are ridiculously high but they are in line with other Denver rental rates and your are paying for the great location. read more

I've been living at The Prospect on Central for the past 6 months and it's been the best apartment experience I've ever had (and that's saying a lot since I've moved 5x to different cities around the US for my job). Not only is the apartment manager, Angela, prompt at responding to maintence requests, but also she's really great at planning fun happy hours almost every week to get to know the other residents and make the transition of moving to a new city easier! Just moved in and I'm already loving it! The staff is so responsive to any issues you have and the price I'm paying for the location is the best I have seen BY FAR, The location is right in the heart of lohi next to all of the popular restaurants (ie Linger, Lola, Avanti, Recess....etc.). Couldn't have asked for a better find in looking for a new place. Best place for people who want to live downtown, but don't want to deal with all of the terrible parking and what not that comes with it. Can't say that I've paid more than $5-8 to get to anywhere downtown for uber/lyft. I love it!! read more

I have been a resident at Prospect this past year and just renewed my lease for another year. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! Location, quality of building, and service doesn't get any better. The owners/developers actually live in the building and maintain there business offices on the second floor. If I ever have issues I can talk to the owner directly -- no other apartment community in the area has such benefit. I can tell you first hand they care, they listen and they work hard to please. Truly one of the nicest complexes in Denver! A beautiful location and a kind and responsive staff! Knowing how most of the tenants are in this complex I respect how much they work! A nice Latino owned apartment complex is amazing to see at times like this. Truly up to date in every way and kept very well! The patio for grilling is amazing with a great view and the nice modest sized gym is perfect for a quick workout! I loved living here so much I can back for a second time! I originally lived at Prospect 5 years ago and moved back last year when we had our daughter. We moved in to their 2 bedroom/2 bath and it's amazing. Our balcony view is unreal! On the 4th of July we saw 4 fireworks shows (Coors, Elitch's, Migh High and Civic Center Park) from the comforts of our patio chairs. The apartment is a great price for the area and market. We've lived in riverfront and the highlands and this place has been the best so far. We've lived here for a year and a half and simply love it. Besides a great apartment, the owners and staff create a such an enjoyable environment for the residents with the events they plan for the whole building.
