Nina assisted us with our move in a few years ago and now with our move out. She has been incredibly helpful and responsive when we have had questions or needed assistance. There is a reason this place has so many good reviews. This community deserves five stars for their team alone. You would be hard pressed to find a more caring team and they have made my experience amazing. The building is also new, has great amenities, and Uptown is a perfect location. So many good restaurants (Walter's is my personal fav!) I am also so impressed with the way Radius is handling the COVID pandemic. This has not been an easy time on anyone and you can tell that even with the office closed, they are working hard behind the scenes to answer resident's questions and help everywhere they can. The elevators and common areas are also kept very clean, which is reassuring. My favorite part about the location is how it's right next to Benedict Fountain Park. I love taking my two Dachshunds there. If you are looking for an amazing place, look no further! I will be sad to leave. read more

Recently toured this apartment community and was beyond blown away from the rooftop lounge with sweeping city views (see attached pic) to pool area. I also love how beautifully laid out the apartment floorplans were, no wasted space here! The staff was professional and attentive & the commercial grade coffee machine was icing on the cake. The location is prime being right in the center of Uptown so great proximity to many restaurants, entertainment, parks and such. If you're looking for sophistication yet still hip look no further. Radius uptown was an incredible experience! I was only there for a short visit but the grounds are beautiful. I love the gym, the hangout area (includes games and a view!) and the gorgeous pool. If I was moving to Denver, I'd choose Radius Uptown! The leasing, cleaning, maintenance staff are all really friendly and responsive. The amenities are all top notch. All of our windows open so we can get fresh air when it's nice out. Our unit has a wrap around balcony with a great view of Benedict Fountain Park. They recently redid the area directly around the apartment complex with fake grass and deodorized irrigation systems. Even though we have not moved in to our new apartment yet, I would like to complement Blake Reffner has outstanding customer service. Blake has been very helpful when responding to all of my questions. I can tell that Blake really understands all of the apartment/move-in protocol Because when he gives me information it is detailed and thorough, but it comes from a communication standpoint that a tenant, who's never lived there before, can understand what is expected and needed from them. I've been in the same apartment for many many years. I've been hesitant about moving because I love where I've been living; however, Blake has this very reassuring persona about him even through email. Not only do I feel assured that we have made the right decision to move to the radius apartments, but we are very excited! I have been living at the Radius Uptown Apartments since July of 2022 and I have to say that I have really enjoyed my time here so far! The location is great with plenty of restaurants and things to do nearby (parks, gyms, attractions, landmarks, etc.) I also really like the fact that there is a park right across the street to take my dog to which she enjoys going to and playing in. Downtown is just a few blocks away and I enjoy walking down there when the Denver weather permits. The leasing staff (especially Tasia) and maintenance staff are great! They respond to all requests within a very timely manner, which I have found to be an issue at previous apartments that I have lived at. If you are considering living in Uptown, I would highly recommend this place! read more

Have been living at Radius for 6+ months. Staff for Radius gets 5 stars. BJ and Chris are incredibly helpful and accommodating. Maintenance requests are fast and extremely easy. Only reason for not getting 5 stars: 1) To other reviewer's points - they do tend to nickel and dime you with less than necessary charges ($15/mo per apt. for trash service that you're required to pay regardless if you're like me and just like to take your trash out on your own). 2) Workout room facility, while great, is a tad small. Also, there are no community towels. Other than these gripes, wonderful building, mgmt., and incredibly walkable to some great spots. read more

Great place to live. Just one problem that nobody realizes until they move out. When I moved out, I was expecting a $99 deposit to be returned. Instead. The place was in great condition (was cleaned by a maid 1 week before move out) but they charged me for things like a TV cable left in the closet, dishwashing detergent left under the sync, and other silly things. They said the cleaning fee was $750 and took me to small claims court. I fought and I will win, but how annoying is this scenario. Just be prepared to for a $650 cleaning fee (they will make stuff up) and $100 fee for get this; moving out early (despite having paid for the full 30 days I gave a notice for - WHAAAA??? - I'd never heard of that before... I thought they might refund me but ha.. i was very wrong;). I'm not the first, and I won't be the last. My recommendation is to just assume your rent is $100 higher than you think it is. Working w/ Bree and Damarcus was a nightmare. read more

If you are looking for a place in downtown to live, I advise you to do thorough research. That being said, look through the negative reviews because after living here for over a year and a half, those reviews are spot on and I would not recommend this place. Although beautiful at first sight with a pretty decent location, looks can be deceiving. The place is cheaply made and they charge out the ass for expenses. The systems for the locks on the doors are extremely inadequate and frustrating to use. When I would have friends over, I wouldn't even have to make them a code for the front door the majority of the time because access to the building is not monitored as they promise at move in. I refused to walk my dog at the park across the street after dark because of the craziness that goes on there. The trash service is terrible and people leave trash in the hallway all weekend long when they know it doesn't come those days. There is dog pee and shit in the hallways. Not to mention that I was paying the same amount for a studio apartment on the 8th floor as another tenant was paying for a one bedroom on the 11th floor.. Also, if you want to pay your entire deposit for move out expenses this place has you covered!! They charged me $246 for a washer seal and I guess I just assumed that was considered normal wear and tear since I had no problems with the washer when I lived there. So, if you have tons of money that you are willing to just blow through for random bullshit expenses or theft then I will say a positive is that the amenities are fun. (Even though half the time the hot tub is shut down and the pool balls are stolen.) I personally just moved into a house with a huge yard that is $1,100 less than what I was paying here (woohoo!). But, if you are looking to live in a frat house of 30 year old's and blow all your money, then this is the place for you!! Good luck & happy apartment hunting! :) After writing this review -- I have been charged an additional $311.79 even after taking my entire deposit. Think twice before you rent from this place. These people are crooks. I really don't understand all the good reviews. When I went there the elevator was down, the hot tub was green, the only reason the halls weren't filled with garbage is because the forced valet trash service doesn't pick up on the weekends. I applied here and paid a deposit, changed my mind the next day and they refused to give the deposit back. I spoke with Beto, not helpful, Nina, avoidant and would only respond via email, and Blake, who was condescending over the phone and not helpful at all. Apparently they can only refund within 24 hours and I called on the 25th hour. It's pretty ridiculous and petty and I'm sure they could have helped me out and chose not to. Hope Equity throws you all a pizza party for keeping my hard earned money. Very happy to rent elsewhere, where the team is actually reasonable and cares more about people and less about money. Not to mention there are plenty of other "luxury" apartments in town not rampant with homeless people, garage break-ins, and pathetic charges. read more

I rarely give 1 star reviews, and tried to look for positives. However, the move in and move out process left a terrible taste in my mouth. Pros: 1. Staff are friendly. I also say this to make the distinction between being friendly and being competent. If you want competence, go elsewhere. See reasons below. 2. Building interior is nicely designed. I also liked the common areas. Good location. Cons: 1. My partner and I had a less than stellar experience moving in. We were moving back to Denver from out of state. While the application process was seamless, the move in process was anything but. We had signed a lease for a one bedroom and three days before moving in, we were given a tour of a studio unit, which was not what we signed the lease for. With only 3 days before move in day, this was stressful. We ended up having to look for alternative living situations until they managed to rectify the situation very last minute. In retrospect, this was a serious red flag. 2. When we moved into the unit, the apartment was NOT cleaned. There was dog hair everywhere, including in the washer and dryer. I was told this was not their typical protocol, but given the amount for rent we are paying in addition to their first mistake, this should not have been a problem. Especially with 3 days between knowing we'd be moving in, this should have been taken care of. 3. My unit had electrical issues which meant that I could not vacuum. I was happy to clean the apartment myself upon moving in, obviously this could not happen. 4. People leave their trash outside of pick up times and I've walked down the hall many times only to be greeted with the lovely stench and physical evidence of (dog?) pee/poop. 5. As we prepared to move out, the freight elevators were out of order. It stayed that way for awhile, which made moving out interesting to say the least. 6. After we moved out, we were charged a cleaning fee. We were told this is expected to ensure professional cleaning between residents. I find that more than ironic considering our apartment was not professionally cleaned when we moved in. Unbelievable to the point of being hilarious. My recommendation: Avoid Radius and go elsewhere. Unless you like overpaying for incompetence and a poorly managed building masquerading as "luxury". read more

My good friend lives here and every time I go to visit the staff are always so welcoming when I walk in the door and even offer me coffee while I wait in the lobby! The rooftop pool has amazing views of the Denver skyline! Very pet friendly community. I much look forward to possibly moving here in February when my current lease is up! read more

After beginning the apartment search process remotely from New York City in late 2019, I finally moved to the Uptown area of Denver in May 2020. Crucially, I'm glad I took the time to carefully compare all the apartment offers in Denver as there are so many seemingly similar deals to sort through but when you dig deep -- few truly stand out as superior values. And while I considered the Union Station and Cherry Creek neighborhoods of Denver, ultimately Radius Uptown -- stood above the rest. Situated in a practically brand new state-of-the-art building that was completed in 2017, Radius has the prime location in Uptown (with a not to be underestimated Walk Score of 94/100). The amenities at the Radius include a resort-style pool and hot tub on the 5th-floor roof deck, an outdoor green turf area adjacent to the well-equipped modern gym and yoga areas (also on the 5th floor), stainless grill areas on both decks, and a 12th-floor outdoor lounge are all nice extra features added to the apartments (both areas have dedicated restrooms). There's a package concierge service located next to the mailboxes, which allows UPS/FedEx/USPS to place larger packages in temporary lockers and alerts you remotely via email/text which can then be unlocked and retrieved via a simple process on your phone or with a code. Additionally, there are one or more bike rooms to store your bike for no charge. There are also individual wire mesh walled/doored storage units and a secure multi-level built-in parking garage, which both cost extra ($30 and $100 per month respectively). There's a free dog washing room and there are free dog waste bags inside and outside the building. And perhaps best of all -- a free amenity for everyone in the area -- is the quaint yet beautiful 3-acre park directly across the street (on the north side of the building). Needless to say, this building and area are incredibly dog friendly. Take away all of the aforementioned accouterments -- and the apartments are by themselves quite impressive. Plank wood flooring throughout, premium wood cabinetry in the kitchen and bathrooms, stainless steel whirlpool refrigerator, microwave, oven, dishwasher, huge sink with oversized faucet, and stacked full-size front-loading washer and dryer in every unit (with clear doors). Further, the entire building is wired for blazing-fast gigabit internet -- as a contemporary building should be -- and you can use CenturyLink or Xfinity (so you're not stuck with only one provider). Aesthetically, the even-numbered floors have dark brown cabinets with dark flooring and white quartz countertops throughout. Whereas the odd-numbered floors have cherry cabinets with chocolate flooring and beige quartz. Both styles are very attractive. Every unit has at least one walk-in closet and at least one huge window that's ultra-wide and that spans near floor-to-ceiling in height. All windows are covered by custom 2" inch white wood blinds. A stainless steel ceiling fan is built-in to all units, and a plethora of additional stainless steel and glass trimmed lights, including some controlled by the SmartHome app. The SmartHome app also controls the digital thermostat and the smart door lock and even connects to leak sensors which are installed in the kitchen and in the hot water closet. Lastly, all units have a balcony, which is very nice considering many comparable apartment buildings do not offer balconies. Entering the building, and the gym area, pool area, top floor deck, main elevators, is very secure and all you have do is waive a small digital key fob to gain access. Adding to this security are closed-circuit cameras monitoring every floor, entrance, and common area. Getting into your unit can be done with your smartphone or most simply by just typing in a code that you can change at any time. Overall the team at Radius seems to care greatly about the tenants -- and the building and units are incredibly spacious, well laid out, and finished. I've been a tenant at Radius for two weeks now. Here are my first impressions. What I love: 1. Location. This place is so unbelievably walkable. Safeway's around the block. Coors Field a mile down the road. Union Station easily accessible via the free 16th Street Mall Ride (I take the train to the airport regularly, so this was a big deal for me). Downtown, Cap Hill, and RiNo all steps away with the peacefulness of living in Uptown. 2. Amenities. Having year-round access to a pool, hot tub, fitness center, and club room is divine. This place has got it all. And they recently started a community garden = lovvvve. 3. The apartment itself. High ceilings, oversized windows, balcony, tons of storage space, front-loading W/D in-unit, and really lovely finishes. I feel spoiled getting to live in such a nice place. 4. Staff! Bree, Chris, and BJ are wonderful, helpful, and friendly folk. The maintenance staff are incredible. My bathtub was draining slowly, I submitted a request online, and it was fixed less than 3 hours later. The staff also host regular building events, which is a great way to meet your neighbors. Things I gripe about: I'll be real. There's a bit of nickeling and diming. There are several fees and other bills that get piled on top of rent, which adds up. I just renewed for my second lease term here a month or two and and I have been very happy with this building. The location is great. It is very, very dog friendly, there is a park right across the street. The gym is nice, the pool is nice, they keep the common spaces very clean. The people in the office are very nice and if you have a maintenance request it is taken care of quite quickly. You can use an online portal for almost anything you need, paying rent, maintenance requests, reserving amenities. Parking is underneath the building and we have had no issues with it. There is usually street parking available for guests. The location is really nice there are many restaurants super close by. If you are a social person you can definitely make friends at the pool and hot tub, basically any time of year. And if you are not a social person don't worry because the windows really block out any city noise well. read more

I moved in one month ago now and I have loved everything about this apartment. My unit is updated and beautiful and pretty perfect honestly - water pressure is ideal, garbage disposal is quiet but actually works, balcony is spacious, I can never hear any of my neighbors not even the ones above me. The pool / gym / outdoor spaces / grills are always clean. On top of all that the staff here is 10 outta 10. They are always friendly and helpful with not just me but everyone that comes through the apartment complex. The maintenance team is awesome and responded to my only request thus far within hours. They all truly make an effort to know the tenants and some feel more like friends after only such a short time. I have nothing negative to say... move here, you won't regret it. read more

I've never encountered a more uncaring and unprofessional management company than those from Equity Residential running this building. Within 6 weeks of moving here they've made me feel unwelcome and unsafe in my own home by encouraging a hostile resident to continue aggressive behaviors. They ignore parts of the lease and make up rules that aren't in it at their convenience, and the only response from them is an offer to terminate my lease with heavy penalties. I regret moving here. Don't lock yourself into a lease with this company or location. You will come to regret it too. I fully expect a reply denying the truth, but do you want to take that chance with the place you call home? read more

This apartment is not what it was less than a year ago before they took management in house. The previous management would hold resident events, was attentive to resident concerns, and quick to act when there were maintenance requests. The new management, Equity Residential, has really taken the building and the quality of living to a low. I have witnessed remarkable turnover in staff in the 6 months they have been working there, Corporate publicly admonish staff in the open while residents are around, and have an avoidant, unaccommodating attitude to the residents. The building itself is poorly constructed. From being able to hear your next door neighbors phone conversations though the walls, to hearing every foot step above your head, the construction of any floor above 5 is shotty at best. They will tell you there is concrete and sound proofing, but this is stopped after the amenity deck floor, effecting most of the residents. For being called "Luxury", the amenities do not stand up to other luxury buildings in the area. There is a very small gym where you will be lucky to find a space to work out in, a small pool and hot tub that are often closed due to residents breaking glass on the decks, and their roof top deck can fit maybe 5-10 people at most. All and all, there are much better and cheaper options in the area. read more

My boyfriend and I lived here for over a year. I cannot believe the positive reviews of this place. The only good thing I have to say about Radius uptown is the residents and the community as we met some great people and the building is very dog friendly. There is a huge amount of theft in this building, our storage unit as well as many of our other resident friends storage units and cars were broken into. When our storage unit was broken into it took the thieves 18 seconds (we saw security footage) to bend the frame of the unit, they didn't even have to touch our lock. RADIUS MANAGEMENT DID NOTHING. They continuously blamed the theft on the surrounding neighborhood yet we knew people in other buildings on the block and they had never heard of any theft in their building. We also had 2 cabinets in our apartment fall off of the wall (one of them being onto my boyfriend) and when we told the community manager (after the first one fell) she said to us "oh yeah, this has happened before in a couple other apartments, we don't think the builders secured all of them properly". Also, the side entry door to the building was not secure for upwards of 6 months (hence everyone having their storage units and cars broken into). Radius was aware of this issue and insisted they had workers coming to fix it, yet it still took over 6 months. Do not give this building your money. As a resident you have access to a community discussion board and people are constantly addressing and complaining of these issues yet the leasing employees simply reply with a generic message. They do not care about their residents. Lastly, the elevators are always broken. They will Nickle and dime you for everything upon move out. Such a shame because the location is amazing and so are the people, if only management could figure it out. read more
