It was just right for a desert option. They have a good amount of seating but they can afford to have more. My friend and I got the last cubby to sit on. I'm amazed by the reviews here. I live a block away from this spot and just went there today with friends. Had a mango bubble tea, mango delight with boba and coffee with boba. The mango boba tea was incredibly sweet, and their boba was really sticky and chewy. A telltale sign of old boba. The coffee was ok and the delight was good, so that brings the review score up. This place is fantastic! I heard about Bubble Waffles from some friends who visited Hong Kong, and always wanted to try them. They are popular in China. I haven't seen them anywhere else by me, so this place is really unique. They also serve Spam Musubi, which is another very popular dish in Hawaii, and Asia. Most Americans who have very little exposure to Asians don't know how much Asians love their Spam. Americans usually have a negative attitude towards Spam, but the owners told me that the ones who have tried Spam for the 1st time in one of their dishes, have really been surprised by how tasty it is and have changed their attitude towards it. This is so great! I love that this place is broadening other culture's minds through food! They also serve a variety of Bubble Tea drinks, which is another popular Asian drink. We had their Spam Musubi and Spam Nori Bowl. Both were very delicious and savory. We also had an original Bubble Waffle with Mango ice cream, marshmallows, and maple syrup. Mmmmmmm... sooo yummy! For drinks, we had Thai Iced Tea and Mango Bubble Tea, with Green Tea. All were also very good. The customer service is so welcoming, and they all make a point to greet you as you enter and when you leave. It is such a warm atmosphere. You will not be disapppinted coming here! So my lady and I were jonesing for boba milk tea and we caught this new place on Yelp - not far from our home! This place has some nice vibes. Very clean, open space; looks like if they do get really popular they could probably put more tables in the middle of the venue. Anyway, they look like they really market the bubble tea, but go for the waffles too! we got these chocolate waffles and they are unlike any other waffles I've ever seen. They also taste good too with ice cream. Speaking of, they have this flavor of ice cream - I forgot the name but I know it's purple yam flavor. Love love love it, takes me back to culture and would have never thought the purple yam could be repurposed for an ice cream flavor or boba tea flavor. Service is also good in that they are very nice and they let you know how long it will take until you are served their food. Came here tonight and tried the spam masubi, ube ice cream sandwich, and a passionfruit green tea. The tea was loose leaf which is a nice change from the bags you usually get. I used to work at a tea shop, and I can say this is some of the best ive had. The spam masubi had the perfect spam to rice ratio and didnt fall apart, the sauces were amazing too! The ube ice cream was put in between a slice of pandesal and had chocolate sauce drizzled on top, it was almost reminiscent of fried ice cream. What I really enjoyed were the owners, Michelle and Victor. They were warm, welcoming, and approachable. The vibe of this cafe seems like it would be great to do work during the day, and a chill place to hang out in at night. They also have a parking lot, so super convenient! Great local place for boba tea! (I've never ordered anything else - but the waffles look delish)

My girlfriend and I wanted some boba so I offered to go pick some up with my motorcycle. Getting there with my backpack as my only form to transport it back led to some issues. I ordered a coconut boba and a taro boba with reduced sugar. The front desk employee was super helpful with engineering a method to get it back to my apartment in one piece on my back. She cut a cup holder in half and it fit perfect in my bag and was secure. I added the other half on top as a protector from getting crushed and I paid and went on my ride back. Upon arriving home I was relieved to see that both bobas survived unscathed. I took an initial sip and was a little off put. The coconut flavor was a little funky with the aftertaste. Despite the flavor the boba balls were fresh and very fun to eat but didn't have much flavor like others I've tasted. I tried my girlfriends taro and tasted much better in my opinion. With me reducing the total sugar level I feel that it had to effect the coconut flavor but the taro tasted just fine. Upon my experience I would not order the coconut again but really enjoyed the service and sip of the taro and would stick to more traditional flavors in the future. I'm so happy to finally have a good bubble tea place in the area. I'm especially happy that this cafe also serves yummy bubble waffle desserts (with Ube or mango ice cream), spam musubi, and French pressed tea leaves! They've only been open a week, but everything I've tried to date has been absolutely delicious. The owners are exceptionally nice and friendly, and personally check with you to make sure you're enjoying your meal. The interior decoration is very Brooklyn-esque, and great for reading a book while sipping on your tea, or chatting with friends while eating your bubble waffles and ice cream. While you might have to wait a few extra minutes for your order when it's busy as with most other establishments, it's absolutely worth the wait. This cafe has very quickly turned into my go-to place for a nice snack (Spam Musubi or Spam Nori Bowl), tea (French pressed hot peach mango tea), bubble tea (taro!), or dessert (Oreo bubble waffle with Ube ice cream + Nutella drizzle + powdered sugar). Glad to know there is a cute and warm vibed cafe nearby. It has a small simple menu but enough sweets, drinks and savory items available to satisfy my cravings (see a few of my pics). Establishment has about 5 - 6 tables. It's calm and quiet here so it is good for conversation with friends/family. As for my order, everything was good, except I personally think the mango with sweet rice can be improved. Didn't really like the texture of the rice and rather the dessert was made with preserved mango chunks instead of fresh cut mango. Definitely enjoyed the egglet waffles and Spam Musubi. Urban Leaf is one of my favorite Cafe's in the area! Being a student at a University just down the road, I love coming here to grab a meal after classes, treat my sweet tooth, and/or study. Urban Leaf offers great Asian/Filipino-fusion drinks, desserts and meals. They mainly offer bubble teas, spam musubi/bowls, and bubble waffles. The price is reasonable--not the cheapest I've seen, but not the worst either. I came with some friends and we ordered Spam-Nori bowls and musubis. The 3-piece musubis and Spam bowls were both $7. Their milk bubble teas are $4.50, while fruit bubble teas are ~$4.00 ($3.25 without tapioca/toppings). The overall aura of the Cafe was great; it had a very modern vibe, they have aesthetic set-ups that are cute for pictures, and they played Lo-Fi both times that I have been here. My family and I have been coming to Urban Leaf over the last year or so, and I have to say we are in love with the place. Personally we love the Strawberry Sakura Iced and the Brown Sugar Iced Teas as well as the waffle combinations. I was pleasantly surprised of this little gem in the middle of the suburbs. It seemed to be a fusion Asian cafe with a variety of choices. We went for the cookies and cream egg waffle and ube ice cream since we ate before hand. I'm quite picky with my egg waffles since I'm use to having them from Hong Kong but these were pretty legit. This is a cute hidden cafe! I came from out of town to visit a friend who lives in the area and was craving some bubble tea and this popped up in our search. The ambiance was super chill and quiet with dim lights. It would be a great place to come and get some work done. They had many different options from hot and cold teas to waffles. I ordered the mango iced tea with pearls and it was super tasty! The pearls were a bit too chewy for my liking but it wouldn't stop me from ordering it again. It was the perfect amount of sweetness. I tried my friend's lychee iced tea and it was a bit sweeter than I preferred but still super tasty as well! They also sold some merchandise which was super cute and temping to buy.
