Taro slush and Thai bubble tea
    Helen Z.

There is a paucity of Asian restaurants here in comparison to Bergen county, so we were overjoyed to find this place selling bubble tea and ice cream walking distance from our new place. It's not like the cute Instagrammable shops you might see in NYC or Bergen county, but I don't care about that. They're taking COVID precautions very seriously with takeout only and big clear dividers covering where staff are. You need to speak into a mic so they can hear you! We got a taro slush bubble tea and a Thai ice tea bubble tea. I think we were overcharged for the taro slush (we omitted cheese foam and were still charged over $7) but the regular bubble teas seem to be reasonably priced. The taro slush had a very strange consistency that is hard to describe. It was too creamy for a slush and also had small ice pieces in it that would crunch. The taste of the taro was okay but not as good as some places I've had recently in NJ. The Thai ice tea was actually really good! I'm used to being disappointed when it comes to this flavor but it was spot on for me, and not too sweet or watered down at all. The boba they use seems homemade--it's very soft and fragrant and I like it a lot. I would definitely come back to try more drinks and the ice cream.

Bubble tea places usually serve a size large that costs around $6/$6.50, but for the size of this bubble tea was only $5.35! I went on a Saturday night and called and placed my order as I was on my way since they were closing soon, and luckily there were customers still being served when I arrived. I had to remind them when I approached the counter of what my order was and they automatically went to making it. It looks less than 5 minutes!

I have always been skeptical of non-chain boba shops, but Lincredibowl is awesome! Really my new favorite local boba shop. We came on a quiet Saturday afternoon to pick up some boba. They dont have a lot so you need to find street parking. They offer pick up and take out. No seating available, and they require face masks inside the store. There is a plexiglass barrier that separates staff from the customers as well. We bought two drinks, a passion lime tea and a dirty brown sugar bubble tea. The tea was tart and sweet and the brown sugar boba was milky and the boba balls we perfectly cooked. The first local boba shop Ive been to with well cooked tapioca pearls. I have nothing negative to say about their offering! Delicious drinks with cheap prices. I will definitely be back for more and to try their poke bowl and ice creams. If youre in the neighborhood, i recommend their teas!

This review is targeted towards the black sugar milk drink here in particular. I love it. Best in North Jersey that I have tried. Sometimes I just order a couple of them to drink, one every day.

I'm really glad a bubble tea shop opened in Kearny, because whenever I craved bubble tea before, I'd have to go to Hoboken. It's not the best bubble tea ever, but for the price and convenience, it's totally worth it. Only $4 for a large drink. It's a hard to beat price. I've already come here multiple times and will keep coming back! I always order a Thai iced tea bubble tea. Sometimes the bubbles taste too sweet but nothing too egregious. They also have a bunch of other interesting flavors. They have Yakult flavored drinks which I've never seen anywhere else. Haven't tried it yet but sounds delicious. If you live in Kearny and are craving bubble tea, this is definitely the place to go.

We come to lincredibowl frequently, and their bubble tea options and thai ice cream are always tasty and fairly priced. Definitely recommend this spot.

My friends and I ordered their toter tots, crispy chicken and chocolate bubble waffles with milk tea ice cream to share and I ordered their jasmine tea with cheese foam. Our order was ready a lot quicker than I had expected. The taiwanese crispy chicken was crispy, juicy and tender as they used chicken thighs for it. It was also well seasoned and tasted authentic. The tater tots were also perfectly fried as it was super crispy and they were sprinkled with the same seasoning as the chicken. The bubble waffle was the biggest surprise for me as I have never found a place that does it right (texture wise). This is the place! The waffle was crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside and the batter wasn't too floury as I have often found in other places. But that could also be because we ordered chocolate flavor so I should try their original next time. My only complaint is it didn't have enough chocolate taste for me. The milk tea ice cream, although wasn't the best I've had but it's decent and you can still taste the tea. My jasmine tea with cheese foam was fragrant and the cheese foam complimented the tea well and didn't make it overly filling. Overall, I really enjoyed everything I've ordered here and it's perfect for a mid day or late night snack and drink. I have been to other locations in the area and thought they're not as good as this one so I will have to come back to this location especially for their bubble waffles.

***** WARNING!!! RACIST LOCATION ******…read more Never going back to this RACIST Carvel again! They told me with my pregnant wife next to me that because I'm white, they have to charge me more. The price tag on this cake as well as all others this size was clearly $12.99. The employee said we can't charge white people those prices. We have to charge them more. And unfortunately, my wife and I were the only white people in the store with Hispanics and blacks. I decided to make sure I lived to see another day and not say anything. I wanted a Carvel cake for my birthday. We usually go to the one in Nutley, but this one is 2 blocks from the house. We went in and picked out a cake. What looked like a black mother and son came in after us. Somehow they were helped by the black employee. No biggie, we were picking a cake. They were still undecided so she came to us. We gave her the cake. She asked what we wanted to write, Happy birthday Richard. She scribbled it on as you can see from the pictures. We asked for a few cups of crunchies, no problem. As she tallied it up, she asked to see the box, she saw the price of $12.99, oh no, you people can't pay tha price, you need to pay $20.99. I showed her the rest of the cakes, yeah no, you pay $20.99. We can't charge white people that price on the sticker, we need to charge you people more. As I said, my pregnant wife and I were the only white people in the store. So we tried pushing it a little, but the employee pushed back hard. And then we paid. She asked if we want a receipt, I said yes please. She said well you ain't getting one, because I don't know how to do it. The other employee came over and did it for her. I took it and left. We are never ever going here again. I hate how stores here are so racist against white people it's disgusting. We are people also! We deserve the same respect as everyone else. I know that right now Black Lives Matter, but here in Newark that means all others don't. Never coming back here again!

Place gets packed despite the many tables. Service was amazing, food was great (slightly higher prices than others, but the quality execution and quantity balanced it out). We had cornbread (very good), fries (was fine), chicken parm with pasta (we asked for vodka sauce which they accommodated for small charge), fried chicken (must have), churrasco steak breakfast and turkey club. No false notes that we could tell. Some standouts were mashed potatoes (really good), cornbread (toasted and slight sweet, with strawberry butter which was wild), whole wheat bread toasted (it was good I tell you) and fried chicken (it will haunt me in my hungry moments). Didn't think a diner would impact me as much, but they over delivered. Go, but make a reservation unless you want to wait.

READ FULL REVIEW!!!…read more March 2026: First time at this establishment was just ok. Hosted a very small get-together here (5 guest). Atmosphere was nice. Music was wayy too loud to hear the person you're sitting next to. Food was tasty and fresh. Coffee was good with great creamer selection (at the time). Our server was my least favorite part of this experience. He was over the top with his energy and upscale tactics (pushy with getting us to order extra drinks and appetizers despite declining). I was hosting this event and did not need him selling us after already being told "no, thank you" twice. It was awkward and ultimately changed the vibe. He hardly checked on us after that encounter and we constantly had to remind them about request that were never brought out to the table. Staff needs to be trained better. This was just an ok experience. April 2026 : What ultimately lead me to write this review was my 2nd experience at this diner. The server was a lot better than our first experience, but we did run into a few too many problems. First, we ordered coffee and are informed that per managements request, we can only have half-half or cream with our coffee. Previously they had French vanilla creamers and other flavored creamers but I guess management decided to save on the additional cost. This was a bummer especially realizing that they could easily afford creamers. This restaurant easily pulls at least $150,000 per week in revenue, so I didn't understand cheapening out like that. I still ordered the coffee. When it came to the table I added the cream into the cup only to find something floating in the coffee. I send it back and ask for a new cup, which the server politely provided. We order our meals and all goes well. Eventually two of the three meals come out and we wait for the final plate to come out. It's common courtesy to wait for everyone to have their meal before eating, so we wait. We wait about 6-7 minutes and the final plate comes out only for it to be cold. All of us ordered breakfast, so you can imagine trying to eat cold egg, potato, and sausage. We ask for the waiter, but before he could get to us the manager passes by and we let him know the issue. He takes the plate to the back and about two minutes later he comes back with the same exact plate. Before the manager arrived to take the plate away, I saw the guest split the egg half and add black pepper on everything so we knew it was the same plate and food she started eating off of that was reheated onto the kitchen grill where other food is being prepared for guest. The manager informs us that he had the chef heat the food up on the griddle and that it should be a perfect temperature. We refuse to accept the plate because it was reheated and not remade entirely. We were shocked that this was the solution even being offered. Reheating food on the griddle seemed unsafe (contamination risk, diseases, illness, etc) and offensive. No one pays these prices to have reheated breakfast served to them. I could've just made that at home for a fraction of the price. We politely refuse the reheated plate and he apologized and took the plate to the back. The server comes over to see what the issue is and we explain everything. He says that he will look into it and take that meal off the bill. Now I'm frustrated because one out of the three of us aren't eating anything and the experience was off. At this point, I'm not eating my meal but the 3rd guest is eating. So the guest who sent their plate back and myself are waiting for the 3rd guest to finish their pancakes. He ordered a stack of 4-5 chocolate chip pancakes and was happily eating away at layer by layer. Eventually he gets to the last 2 pancakes and before he adds syrup he notices what appeared to be an eyelash or short piece of hair imbedded in the pancake. Picture of the clearly imbedded hair included with this review. He immediately stopped eating and looks sick. He had already eaten 3-4 pancakes by then and the idea that he ate more of whatever that was felt unnerving, to say the least. We both start looking to see what he's looking at and long behold the hair was there. At this point we are extremely frustrated and completely over this experience. Management did not make this experience right even after addressing all of these issues both separately and together. I felt like my money was not valued and my business certainly wasn't. They did nothing to remedy these issues and I will NOT be going back to this establishment. This restaurant may look visually beautiful but the service is not. Staff needs more training, music needs to be turned down, chefs need to wear hairnets and everyone needs to follow safe food handling skills. You're putting your guest and your business at risk ignoring these issues. I really really wish I had a better experience.
