A hidden gem in Kearny, Nj! I absolutely love the ambiance and service! I decided to eat outside ( they have a patio outside 10/10 recommend) and wow it seems like you're transported to a different place! It's filled with greenery and beautiful spots for a Instagram picture! Our server was very attentive even though we were outside , and the food was delicious the rice came out in a shape of a dolphin ( so cute!!!) This was my order : Appetizer - satay chicken ( I forgot to take a picture it was that good ) Main course - salmon teriyaki drink - an iced coffee Rating scale : Service 5/5 Atmosphere 5/5 Drinks 4/5 Food 5/5

Such a cute little spot, especially on a pretty day! Enjoyed lunch here with my husband. We came for the first time and chose to sit in the back patio area. The space was colorful and bright with lots of flowers. I liked that there were plenty of umbrellas over the tables and other covered seating areas. They were even thoughtful enough to provide bug spray if needed. The service was great! My husband and I ordered a matcha bubble tea, and The Tropics smoothie for drinks. Both tasted delicious but the smoothie was way too sweet for my liking. Next time I would specify low sugar. I ordered the tofu skewers and sweet potato roll and he had the Walk on the Field dish. We both enjoyed the flavor and taste of everything. I liked that both the sweet potato roll and tofu were light and not battered or deep fried. Overall we loved the vibe, especially on a pretty day. We would definitely come back for another meal and to try some desserts too!

A must visit if you're looking for a beautiful place to relax. The backyard garden is so dreamy. Love the food and desserts. The sushi and sashimi is really fresh. Overall, really great service and vibes. Will definitely come back.

Definitely one of my favorite hidden spots in Kearny! You wouldn't think it but at the back of the restaurant is this magical backyard garden that looks like something out of a movie ! Really nice surprise! I enjoy their drinks (e.g., bubble tea, smoothies) & sushi (avid sushi lover here) in their beautiful garden. Furthermore, the owner is so nice & accommodating and the staff are friendly! Definitely coming back here.

It was packed with flavor, though on the oily side Soft Shell Crab (3.5/5): The crab was well-prepared, but the avocado pairing muted the flavor, making it a bit bland Taiwanese Fried Chicken over Rice (3/5): This was surprisingly sweet for a savory entree, which others may like that Century Old Egg Tofu (2/5): A miss for me, it was served cold and the sauce pairing didn't really work Great service and a lovely vibe overall

It was about 25 minutes away from where we were but the great experience here made our drive worth. The place is very homey with a wonderful staff. Service is impeccable. The owners are very friendly and has great customer relations skills. The foods are excellent. We had the pleasure of trying their bangus sisig, pork bbq and caldereta. The tastes exceeded our expectations. We learned that their chef hailed from Luzon so the degree of cooking style satisfied our taste buds. The calamansi drink I had was fabulous. Honestly, the best I had so far. Our halo/halo dessert was heavenly. Satisfied our sweet tooth. The serving size is in huge portion. Each order is shareable by around 2-3 people. Pricing is higher in comparison to other place but proportioned to the serving size. I have one star less for my review for two reasons- 1.The check includes a service charge that confused us if a gratuity should be given or not. We need to Google first for right information. We ended up adding gratuity for their hospitality . 2. Looking for parking spot is challenging. We ended up downloading the town's parking mobile app to get parked closer. We are willing to return if ever we are near the area.

The vibe is nice but the food just does'nt wow me. We particularly choose Tinjune because of its proximity to the arena. Moreover, it's a convenient place for us to meet since we are coming from all over the tri-state area. Parking can be a little tough but it's doable. The establishment seems to be a mixture of a sports lounge and restaurant, offering a casual fare of entertainment including boozy brunch, opportunities to watch a game on their TVs, or simply catch up with friends over drinks. The menu features Asian fusion dishes with some caribbean and soul food influences. During our first visit in July, we stopped by during brunch. It was a lively vibe with a great live DJ, mature crowd, and an eclectic menu. We were seated at a booth in the corner of the dining area which was also in the way of sunlight. In addition, the fans above were not working which made the area hot. Nonetheless, we sat thru it as the alternative seating being offered was no better. We skipped appetizers and got straight to entrees. I ordered the General Tso Chicken with white rice along with water. It was'nt bad but it also was'nt great. Visually, the chicken was swimming in a lot of sauce. Moreover, the sauce was watery. The chicken seemed to be cuts of breast that were tossed in a sweet chili-like sauce, perhaps sautéed since the texture was mostly soft. I wish it had been fried first then tossed in the sauce to give it better texture. I liked the texture on the broccoli, it was cooked with a slight crunch just the way I like. When paired with the soft, white rice, things came together nicely. Fast forward to our most recent visit in November. On this visit, I decided to dive into the menu a bit more and have an appetizer and entree. To start off, I had the Thai Chili wings. They were delicious and prepared well. The wings had a nice crispy exterior and juicy flesh. The sauce was sticky and coated the wings well, just like I prefer. For the entree, I went for the Wok Stir fry consisting of Lo Mein and steak. Again, the meal was swimming in a lot of sauce. For me, Lo Mein should have a little sauce to it but this was more like soupy gravy. I could literally use my spoon to scoop out the sauce and sip it which altogether, makes the meal soggy over time. The veggies were bright and prepared nicely but I was'nt a fan of the steak. It tasted as if it was thrown in at the last minute, so there wasn't much texture or seasoning to it. A little more sear to it would've been perfect. In terms of service, that was ok. Some periods of our dining experience were slow and we struggled to get our servers attention at times. Pricing was fair and the portions reflected a good value but they charge 15% automatic gratuity and a surcharge for using your card which I'm not a fan of. Overall, I've had ok experiences. I was not thoroughly impressed by the food but it hit the spot in the moment. I would return for the convenience, but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit nor would I immediately recommend to others.

I had seen this restaurant a couple of times so decided to give them a try. It is a small place, with four tables that seat four people, and a couple that seat two. One of the side walls is covered with printouts of a number of the dishes, which can be helpful for those that don't know what some of the dishes look like. There is only one person working both the register and the tables, so patience is appreciated here. Did I mention earlier that I was cold? We walked over from the parking lot under the highway (free on Saturday nights) and was very chilled by the time we entered. Cold and hungry, we ordered lamb with cumin and ma la pot chicken. My companion ordered snow pea tips and vegetable mei fun. To start, we split an order of pan fried vegetable dumplings. The waitress checked to be sure that we wanted all that food for two people-the ma la pot chicken alone is big enough to split between two people (or one VERY hungry person). Reassuring her that we wanted all that food, we settled down to wait. The dumplings came out first, and we are still trying to decide what the filling was comprised of. Carrots, cabbage and....daikon? Not sure, but it was delicious and increased our expectation for the rest of the meal. Next came the ma la pot chicken and I immediately understood why she wanted to confirm our order. I definitely was not finishing all of that in one sitting. The chicken had some lovely crunchy bits around the edges and while the dish itself is dry, the chicken was not. The ma la flavor filled my mouth and warmed my stomach. Lamb with cumin is a great dish to pair with rice, and half a bowl of rice was gone before I even blinked. My companion noted that their vegetable mei fun was flavorful and not oily although the snow pea tips could have been more tender. Overall, the meal was flavorful and a prefect choice on a cold night. I need to come back here and try out a couple more dishes that I usually order, and try a new one or two (spicy and sour potato, shredded???). Yes please!!
