This place is a small store that offers a variety of other restaurants that you can order from. Overall very cool experience from the ordering to pickup - this is not a sit down place that you can stay to eat. The street gets congested easily with people coming and going to the gym. After bringing the food home, all items were a delightful surprise. The quality of food was not compromised given the expectations of their remote kitchen combined with more than 20 restaurant menu offerings. Would definitely recommend and order from here again!

Mmmm....sandos. Was visiting the in-laws place, and my father in law highly recommended we order delivery from Sando Sando. His recommendation was on point. We got some Booster Sandos, some spring rolls, chicken katsu, potato croquettes, gyoza and some bubble tea. While everything was delicious, the Booster Sando with Tamago salad was the clear standout. I wish I lived closer so I could get this more regularly, but this will definitely be my go-to whenever I'm up in Nutley next!

Ooh this was SO good! Pickup at Belleville Bites at 500 cortland St- also great on the online delivery apps. Had the chicken cutlet with shredded cabbage and seafood salad! Delicious combination and the cutlet was moist and delicious! Can't wait to try all their food

Didn't know it is pickup or delivery only place. Found out when I got there and ordered pickup through website. Notification for food ready came in about 10 minutes later, pretty quick. If you are picking up, you will get text to the link to tell you which box to pick up from. When you go into the pickup location, you click the link to open the door then door opens! Wow! I was amazed, and also saw robot bringing food to the box to place food inside the box in the other side. Futuristic! We ordered Chicken cutlets sandwich, gyoza, chicken kara age, pork katsudon, and Brown sugar boba tea. All were very good! Definitely going back or order delivery from there again.

Saw this restaurant on Uber Eats and love the name Sando sando. Food looked good and I got the gyudon (beef bowl) as suggested by several others here. So the gyudon had thinly chopped beef with a very runny egg and some sliced red daikon (I believe). The egg jiggled when you shake the bowl and it's very cute. Beef was tender, egg was yummy, daikon added some acidity and kick, and the rice was soft as well. Very good bowl, highly recommend

Chicken Katsu over rice with an extra onsen egg

Chicken Katsu is definitely better than fish Katsu, portion-wise and texture-wise. Don't forget to check the box for sauce (no extra cost) when ordering. I think that means extra sauce and it does make a difference to taste because a large portion of the bowl is filled with bland rice and shredded cabbage. If you have a couple for extra dollars in budget, add an onsen (poached) egg. Again to add richness to the rice. Overall it's not a bad lunch bowl during stressful workdays. Although some concerns on the food temperature. As I picked up the food at the time when it was ready (15 mins) after ordering, everything was lukewarm and the onsen egg was cold. Understandable for the egg as it could be premade and kept refrigerated. But for the rest of the bowl? Rice was supposed to be steamy and the katsu should be sizzling. Neither was hot. Food borne disease was what I was thinking the whole time when I was eating... enough said. Pick up process was streamlined. Hope they do better over time.

Very delicious and authentic Japanese street food! Especially the Gyudon, it's a must try! The bubble tea is surprisingly good as well!

It's an intimate dining setting, and perfect place to take to impress a date. The service was immaculate. The servers were kind and knowledgeable when I was asking about a few things on the menu cause there was too many good options to pick I needed help lol. Food was insanely good. and the black sesame bubble tea was also so good I'm pretty sure it's all locally sourced and you can tell in the taste. Can't believe it took me this long to finally try this spot. They've got a new regular in me!!! Plus the lunch specials look way too good to pass up I need to try one week! Overall, I loved everything but I would say standouts for us were the love boat (that damn fried avocado was insanely good), the seared salmon (10000/10), and the salmon sashimi. As well as any of the specialty rolls you're in for a treat. and if you like swiss cheese try the OMG roll!! it comes out in a swan on fire heard it's poppin here on the weekends. expect a wait or come during the week to be sat immediately!! we came on a wednesday night and there was no wait.

Here's the breakdown: Service: 10/10. Huge shoutout to Richard and Christine--they were ridiculously polite and took great care of us. Plus, they brought out a complimentary birthday dessert with a candle for my daughter, which was a sweet touch! BYOB: The ultimate MVP feature. Bring your favorite drinks and pretend you're saving money on the overall bill. The Food: Suburban Japanese with a fun fusion twist. Don't expect strict Tokyo traditions, but everything was very solid. Portions & Pricing: Portions aren't huge, and the prices lean high. But honestly, knowing most of the ingredients are imported straight from Japan makes the price tag fair. Quality costs! The Vibe: Cozy and nice, though definitely on the smaller side--so keep the guest list intimate. All in all, high-quality ingredients, fantastic service, and a great neighborhood spot. Worth the splurge!
