The Pineapple Bobo with coconut milk was another good one. Pineapple and boba worked surprisingly well together. Black Grape Cheese is still my go-to. I always get it with no sugar and it's honestly not sweet at all. Mango Sago is my husband's favorite. Even with no added sugar, it's still naturally sweet because the mango is so ripe. For fresh fruit tea in JC, this is still my favorite spot. Get the seasonal fruit drinks while they're available. And you might get lucky and see the cute guy working behind the counter.

It's a small little establishment right off Grove street. I came in and as a green tea fan, I knew I had to give the Mango Green Tea a try. They only have one size, and I was pleasantly surprised by how large it was. One sip, and I knew I had found a new hidden gem. The tea was perfectly brewed and the mango added just the right amount of sweetness. The boba was also bouncy and delicious! Loved my experience here and will definitely be back.

The same owner is usually there to service us in the evenings and he is always welcoming and makes the drinks very consistent. This I'Milky makes their drinks with the freshest ingredients. In my opinion, the I'Milky stores in NYC don't quite taste the same or as fresh. For reference, I usually get the fresh coconut taro, hot or warm, with tapioca. The end product is creamy, just the right amount of sweet, with a very pleasant nutty flavor. The tapioca is very soft and tasty too. I've also gotten the mango milk tea, which is also very good if you want something more fruit forward.

Molly Tea Jersey City is a nice addition to the local bubble tea scene, with a focus on tea-forward…read moredrinks rather than just sweetness. We walked into a clean, modern space with a calm, inviting energy that makes it feel more like a specialty tea shop than a typical bubble tea stop. The interior is bright and thoughtfully designed, with enough seating to sit and enjoy your drink, and the overall atmosphere stays relaxed and approachable throughout the visit. The drinks we tried were enjoyable, especially the ones where the tea flavor came through clearly. The jasmine-based drinks stood out with a noticeable floral aroma, and the overall quality felt better than a standard chain milk tea. The flavors were balanced and not overly sweet, which makes the drinks feel lighter compared to some typical boba spots, and the ability to adjust sweetness levels gives you control over how the flavors come together. The menu offers a variety of milk teas, fruit teas, and matcha-based drinks, and the tea base is clearly the focus rather than just a vehicle for sugar and toppings. The matcha drinks had a smooth, earthy profile that avoided the bitterness often found at other shops, and the fruit teas were refreshing and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the ordering process was quick, even when the shop got busy. The team handled the steady flow efficiently, and the service stayed organized and welcoming throughout our visit. Pricing is about what you would expect for specialty boba, though it can add up if you visit frequently, and the quality of the ingredients and the focus on tea flavor make the cost feel more justified. Molly Tea is a solid option for anyone looking for higher-quality tea drinks with more unique flavors. It offers a drink experience that feels more intentional than the average bubble tea stop, and we would return to try more options, especially when in the mood for something tea-focused rather than just a sweet drink.
