Facing the blank door, I don't know what to put on. My brand told me that I can't use the name "Jasmine Milk White" anymore. And I haven't had time to think of a new name for myself. So, I put a question mark on it. This question mark is not a trademark or a brand. It is my only true expression at the moment: I don't understand. Why did the brand suddenly ask me to reduce 80% of the equity to 30% and transfer all the lease, control rights and employee management rights to them after we invested all our savings, signed a personal guarantee lease, and opened the store to the ceiling of New York? I refused. Then they cut off my goods, closed my store, closed my social media, and removed my takeaway platform. I don't understand. Why did I get a TRO in the state court? The court ordered them not to cut off the supply and close the store, but they could still go to the federal court to get another TRO and order me to remove all trademarks from the shelves within 48 hours? Two courts, two orders, and I was caught in the middle. I'm angry. But I can't roar in court. I can only hang this question mark on the door so that all passers-by can see: This store is going through something. I'm confused. I don't know what my store should be called tomorrow. I don't know how long the lawsuit will last. I don't know how long I can protect the most important things in my life when I sign a lease with a personal guarantee, more than 100 employees I employ, and my wife who is about to give birth. But I know one thing: I must continue to do business. My more than 100 employees are not the numbers in the eyes of the "other party's lawyers". They are ordinary people waiting for their wages to support their families. I continue to do business for them. My wife, she is a co-defendant in this case, and she is about to give birth to our child. She is under too much pressure. I must hold on, which is the best protection I can give her. The personal guarantee lease I signed is not a piece of paper. This is all my family. I can't close the store, I can't stop. If it stops, there will be nothing left. Judge, I'm not here to challenge your authority. I respect the court's order. I have covered the door with a wooden board, and I am already cooperating. I just kindly ask you to understand my situation and give me some time. Give me 30 days. I promise to complete the brand switch. I promise to turn this question mark into a real name. I promise that I will continue to obey all the orders of the court."

Drinks were piling up at the counter, and more than 10 customers were waiting for orders that had already been marked as ready in the system. Despite waiting, I never received my drink and ultimately had to cancel the order and request a refund. Absolute chaos on a Friday afternoon. I'm not sure I can blame anyone given the current legal dispute. Just wanted to give others a heads-up. Always love their drinks though.

They're usually passing out free samples, which was what caught our eye! On this day, they were handing out their Osmanthus Oolong Tea with Mango. It was so refreshing that my friend had to order this one! He added Coconut Jelly to his bev (+$1.50!). I opted for something less syrup-forward + got the Honey Osmanthus Oolong Tea. In hindsight, I should've added a topping to give the drink a little something extra, but I still enjoyed my bev a lot, nonetheless. Everything is one size. While their bevs are on the pricier side (+$1.50 for toppings!!), their quality makes up for it. We waited ~15 min for our drink, as they freshly brew the tea as well, providing the authentic flavor. You can tell that they craft their drinks with care, which is what makes this place deserving of their Michelin Guide status! Would have come back to try something else!

I was expecting a bigger drink for $10 but it's like the same size as ordering a milk tea at the bakeries. Guessing 12oz. You can customize sugar and ice levels. Cashier was kind and helpful. Place is open and clean. I thought they'd have kiosks to order but nope. I can't imagine waiting on a long line for this. Drinks were mediocre. The bubble volcano, essentially a brown sugar milk, didn't hit as it should. Lots of ice even though I picked less ice. Passion fruit green tea is good but not mind blowing. Also still sweet for "light sugar."

I ordered the matcha 3.6 which is matcha with pistachio viennese style cloud, and yes it was super delicious but it was def pretty pricey. The matcha was strong and creamy, and i did rlly like the pistachio cream on top (better than molly tea's pistachio mt!), sweet and not too overpowering with pistachio and in a way pretty light! Id recommend the drink if you like matcha and pistachio. I heard that in heytea labs you get to get the experience of watching the staff make the drinks in front of you, but when i came the staff hurriedly made the drink and left it on the counter. Maybe im overthinking it, but the staff were a bit rude and seemed to not want to interact with the guests despite it not even being busy. Since it was my first time, me and my friend had questions but the girl answered very coldly /: Besides the service i do think the drinks are still very worth trying. Id def come again to try the other specialized drinks tho!!

Manager didn't pick up so we couldn't get refunded, asked them to make the drinks quickly...and after all this they didn't actually make what I ordered. $30 for 2 drinks and this experience. I've been to Heytea locations all over the country and this experience is pretty consistent at a high level... You'll see for each location the number one complaint is having to wait 20+ minutes for a simple order. The drinks are generally yummy but the brand is more concerned with expansion than getting their operations together. Unfortunate.
