Located right off Atlantic Ave and just 2 minutes from the Nautical Mile, they are such a great local spot to grab some some brewskis and snacks. I'm pleased to report they have a great selection of non-alcoholic beers and even non-beer options, such as a case of Poppi probiotic sodas. I currently have half a 6-pack left in my fridge of 00 Stellas, which I enjoy for home cooked steak nights.For those looking for alcoholic options, as most might at a store like this, you'll definitely love their lineup of craft brews, many of which are local or from across New York. Beverage Depot is really conveniently located at the corner of 166th and Northern Blvd, and right next to DD. i passed this place all the time but never stopped in until recently. i was a woman on a mission, looking for a seasonal cider and Beverage Depot carries them. they have a great selection of craft beers and local brews, with shelves and shelves of IPAs, saisons, stouts, sours, etc. there's also special sets with beer and glass. i don't think there's any other spot in Flushing that has such selections. anyway, when i saw my cider on the shelf, my heart skipped a beat and i (almost) cried tears of joy. the white whale that has eluded me for so long (ummm, i mean since last winter lol) was right there in front of me! i grabbed two cases and i've never been happier! i also asked them if they had more, they didn't but told me they are getting a new shipment soon. and that they also carry other seasonal flavors as it becomes available. i'm not a beer person but it's not hard to see that it is a beer lover's heaven! highly suggest that you hit up this place first if you're looking for any cool and unique, niche brews. cheers! read more

Gotta give Beverage Depot credit for the excellent selection of craft beers. Plenty of local breweries are well represented, and there are many options from coast-to-coast and around the world. If you like IPAs, there are almost too many choices; if you like sour beers, there can never be enough. They have a few parking spots out front, or you can hunt for a spot in the surrounding area. (If you know exactly what you want, just double-park it like a real New Yorker.) As others have pointed out, the prices are a tad steep, though you're going to have to pay for good beer anywhere in the city. Might as well be for tasty stuff you like. Today I scored a Victory Brewing sampler 15-pack, just $19.99. Just goes to show there are still a few good deals to be had. Pretty wide selection of beers. My bf and I were able to get a full case of Duvel for about $95 (pre-tax). He also got some other single bottles of beer to try: 1) Chimay Blue 2) Rochefort No 8 3) Westmalle Trappist The Manager of the place said that if they don't have something specific in stock, we can just give him a call, and he'll order for us. I was in search for a seasonal beer that is ridiculous to find even here in New York. I called the company, tweeted, emailed, almost sent a damn pigeon to find it. Every year it's the same mission. I figured I'd try and call just for kicks. Mr. Afif* sorry if I spelled it wrong or got the name wrong picked up the phone and just so happened to have this freaking beer! He said he received 3 cases just the day before. I seriously couldn't/can't believe that this place in Flushing of all places had it but not the city! Great place to find some craft and rare beers. The supermarkets in bayside, flushing, and Queens in general mainly just sell the popular mainstream beers. This place has a huge selection of beers from different parts of the world. If you need something specific, ask and they will know if they have it or not and exactly where it is on the shelves. Staff is awesome and helpful. My cashier was a bit red and blushing, I guess someone had one tasting too many..? I wouldn't blame him, store has too many temptations. Parking is limited, can be hit or miss specially when you are shopping for cases of beers. Selection is amazing for a store that is that is at best 1200 sqr feet. The isles are for 1 person, so u will bump with the people perusing isles as I like to take my time to browse. Overall, they are knowledgeable of what they sell. I believe i have found my beer store, will come back and make them my favorite place for beer shopping. I have been coming to this beer store for years. When I first walked in I was pleasantly surprised at the wide selection of craft brews. As time went on and my love of beer grew I would pass by on the way to parties, bbqs and get togethers. Place has never let me down. From IPAs to stouts and even the more basic stuff like bud light ::yikes:: the place has it all. The owner is very cool and you feel great spending your money in the community at a small business. There have been times when I have looked for certain hard to find beers and the owner has even tried to locate it for me and/or have it ordered. I have one word for you: growlers. I've been going here for years. Recently, the expanded into the space that was a flower shop next door. They made the very wise choice of installing a bar for kegs and growlers. Now you can get a crazy good selection of craft and local beer fresh out of the tap. Growlers are $10.99 one time deposit, and the beers range from $14-$19 for 64 oz. (5 beers and change). Otherwise, this is simply the only game in town in the area in terms of beer and beverage distributors. A must for any cookout. The manager/owners there have always been helpful to me. read more

This place has an extensive beer selection that you tend to have to travel far to get especially in Flushing. Good selection of micro brews along with very good prices. Prices can't beat New Beer in the city, but cheapest in Queens. Beer is cellar in the back, only wish it was a bit darker, so the beer doesn't get spunked. Only beef is that I can't find DFH 120 or World Wide Stout here. If they carried those, it's a wrap. Expect to find other quality brands here though, like Victory, Rougue, Stoudt, DFH, Green Flash, etc. Employees are statuesque though, not that they look magnificent, more like they don't utter a single word or emote a single expression. read more

Beverage Depot has a good selection of craft beers, a growler fill station, and all of the crappy beer/nonalcoholic beverages that you'd expect at a NY distributor. Something I really appreciate is that most of the beers are labeled with the price (per six pack here, no singles), which makes the shopping experience that much easier.
