The menu price on the wall
    Wei S.

I always thought this place was good. All drinks seemed made fresh. However, they overcharge you if you look at the receipt closely. There was clearly 50 cents more than the actually price for the large Lynch green tea that I got. Image that they charge 50 cents more to hundreds and thousands customers everyday. I wish the store was honest about how much they are charging their customers. The cashier was super rude when I was trying order the drink. I am not a fast talker and said clearly and slowly about what exactly I would like. He said "hold on" very impatiently without "please" or "I am sorry". I don't think I will go back here ever again.

So fresh. You see them chopping the fresh fruit in front of you. They put so much boba in mine it was so good. The honeydew slush was excellent. You can get light sugar which I prefer. A bit pricey but tastes really refreshing and good.

Taro Milk Tea Coconut Milk Tea

Stopped by for some milk tea mid shopping trip because I was drawn in by line forming outside the store. The line moved fast and I noticed most people were ordering a mango pineapple drink or some other fruit tea. I decided to go with my usual milk tea order of Taro and my boyfriend got the coconut milk tea. We added tapioca pearls and lychee jelly. Very disappointed with the taste of the mills teas. Super artificial and super sweet. There was no option to change the sugar level... it seems like they use a premade mix. The tapioca pearls were partially raw (hard in the center) and were not enjoyable to eat. The lychee jelly was tasty though. We ordered a medium size which looked like a large at most other bubble tea spots. The large size here was huge! Overall the milk tea was just plain bad... and the tapioca was undercooked. Perhaps the way to go is to order one of their fruit teas or smoothies. But if you are looking for milk bubble tea, look elsewhere.

    Mango slush with strawberry boba

Always had an eye on this place. When browsing their menu in the store, I came across mango slush with chunks which caught my attention. Tbh, I was a bit hesitant because the mangoes kept on display seemed of different type but still I wanted to try it out. Slush though made from fresh fruits is the biggest advantage at this store and it was good, the mango too tasted good though not very much to my liking. I had added strawberry flavor popping boba in it. Overall it was a good experience. Looking forward to trying more!

I love their fresh fruit, specifically the mango slushes and all the variations are amazing.

Very pleasantly surprised! Few spots indoors, so could be a workspace. Boba Bubble Milk Tea - good boba, marinated well so there was flavor and decent chew. Surprisingly not old boba. Milk tea was fair, no strong tea flavor but close flavor to many black milk tea. Sweetness adjustments were respected, but slightly on the sweeter side (e.g. 0 sugar would still have a light sweetness).

A quick Yelp search revealed Dragon Tea a few blocks away from me, so off I went. The store itself is pretty small, but there are a few seats available if you prefer to dine in. Additionally, the interior is clean, well-lit and inviting. Arrived during an off time, so my order was prepared pretty quickly. Ordered my usual go-to drink, Passion Fruit Jasmine Green Tea w/ boba. The juice and tea was very refreshing and definitely cooled me down (albeit briefly) from the relentless heat. And I enjoyed the boba and fresh passion fruit seeds as well. Given the boba was an added topping, I would have liked to have seen more boba added. However, they did add in some pieces of lychee which was a nice touch.

If texture doesn't bother you (liberal amount of black sesame!), I'd suggest getting this latte (10/10). Both pastries were great in their own right. For my second matcha of the day, this matcha was like your everyday/average matcha. Can't go wrong, but it wasn't mind-blowing. If you're in the Theatre District, I'd definitely recommend popping in for a drink & a treat!

I had seen their cute pastries online and wanted to check them out. We got the items above and a few coffees. The cakes are cute. Tho not as light and fluffy as I was expecting. I thought they'd be more like the asian bakeries we have back in SF. Not as sweet as american desserts, but it was kinda in between. The egg sandwich I really wanted to like since I've been craving one. But the it was sooo dry. Definitely needed more mayo. And the bread wasn't very fluffy either. Cute spot if you want cute desserts. Tho I think they are more geared towards posting on socials. REVIEW #3999

They have a water dispenser, two locking bathrooms, and plenty of outlets, so I already have a very positive view of Grace Street as a good place to rest. The food is alright. It's a bit overpriced and the teas are not good quality. However, the desserts are delicious. I usually split a slice of basque cheesecake with my friends. The regular and matcha have both been good in my experience. I don't like chocolate cake, so I haven't tried that variety. I wish the pumpkin was available in the smaller size too! I've tried their boba, and it isn't good. The hot teas are okay but not great. They're pretty much just syrup and milk. I would avoid the drinks and just get the desserts! I haven't personally tried the bingsoo, but I've heard good things. The waffle is alright--all in all, come here to recharge and for the basque cheesecake!

Being right by Times Square did not help, and the line management was basically nonexistent so it was really confusing trying to figure out what was going on. Most people were waiting 25-30+ minutes for their drinks. I witnessed an angry customer and at one point, the cashier had to start warning people upfront that their order would take 25 minutes before he would even put it in. While we waited, one of the HeyTea researchers came and asked us about our tea habits, the brand, and feedback on the new drink after we tried it. For the Golden Oolong Yuzu ($7.49), we got one with sago ($0.49) and one with matcha jelly ($0.49). The sago paired way better with this drink than the matcha jelly. Most people seem to online order, and as a result there's a huge backup at the pickup counter. Even though the store was almost empty when we walked in it took us 20 minutes to get our drink and even then we had to aggressively point out that our drink was off to the side. It had been ready but the person managing the pickup counter was overwhelmed with the number of online/pickup orders. The tea was good, nothing too amazing. Good tea flavor and the yuzu was a nice touch, but can't say we were too thrilled with it after the frustrating experience in store.
