Stopped here after a visit to Prudential Center in Newark. I remember coming here when it first opened years ago. There are parking meters on the main street but they were not active just yet. I ordered the Matcha Roll, my husband got the special Banana Pudding roll and my son got the Ferrerol - which is honestly probably their best one! They used to make the matcha topped with strawberries back in the day and the flavor profile was much better. The Ferrerol is 10/10 the best one. I really love this place. The ice cream is made to order and its done quickly. Do to covid restrictions they still have in place you cant watch them make the ice cream like you used to but you can see the "magic" from a distance. Place looks clean. F&B: 5/5 There was a pre-set rolled ice-cream menu and a bubble tea menu that had all the classic flavor profiles, but also some exciting options to keep things interesting. You can count on there being vanilla, chocolate, green tea, and mango, but what intrigued me was the yogurt boba in their 'parfait party'. Turns out it was a slightly healthier option but equally delicious. I had some 'jasmine green milk tea' and I LOVED it. You can easily taste the jasmine tea flavor and it wasn't too sweet. We recently got here and ordered Moody Mango and Ferre Roll. It's always a delight watching the staff prepare the ice cream, roll them and add the bobbas and other toppings that come along. They are well masked and shielded in order to follow all safety protocols. The ice creams are creamy and yummy that you would want to visit here for the second time. This place has been on my radar for some time! There is street metered parking. We arrived and there was a line to order. The new location down the street has plenty of space but they have it closed off. I recommend opening it up to see how they make the z-rolls, and it will be a nice experience for the customers to watch. I gave it four stars due to the limited seating. There was plenty of traffic and orders were coming in, the staff shut down Uber eats because of the high volume. I suggest adding more tables and chairs to accommodate. I love this place, come here often! The lines get pretty long but they go fast. Their ice cream is worth the wait. Their decor and aesthetics needs a lot of help! Since covid, they covered the inside area with some sort of plastic tarp to create a barrier between the workers and the people but even before then, the place was small barely had two table to sit on, and the paint job was so cheap looking. You could tell someone's uncle did it for like $20. It did the job but you can tell they put almost not effort into it. I still love the service, the workers are so friendly and the ice cream makes up for all the other stuff. They are planning to move facilities so I think this is their chance to flip their business into a "Must Go" trendy spot! Will review the new place when finally open! read more

This is one of those must try spots! So this place has been open for a while and yet I've been here only a handful of times. Their hours of operation are after 3:00pm. It is very small indoors. Came here last on a hit summer night after the pandemic. Hi five ZRolls!!!! Their area of creating zrolls was all sealed up from customers. The register had just the right size for an opening space to hand over your payment. Only 4 ppl at a time are allowed indoors to pick up orders. All others waited patiently outside. I recommend calling in your order. Many ppl did just so and were in and out. Preorders are kept in a freezer and given out looking freshly made. Yes it is true! A small town Harrison has the best boba & ice cream place in east coast! Their brown sugar milk tea is just perfect. I usually ask to reduce sugar amount for my boba in other places but here I don't have to (at least for the brown sugar milk tea). I also love their matcha strawberry roll ice cream. This place knows how to make sweet desserts just sweet enough (meaning not too sweet). As an asian woman, many traditional american desserts are too sweet for me. And this place somehow figured out the right sweet scale. Is it pricey? Many rolled ice cream places charge even more than here. Compared to that, their pricing is actually quite reasonable. I can't believe I almost ... well I did ... denied myself rolled ice cream. I was like yea, that's stuff is not the real deal and I'm not messing with it. Lol but it's actually close to hard ice cream which I love and the flavors are super yummy. At this particular location, I love the piña colada, mango moody (or something like that lol), birthday cake and most recently the ferre roll. I had the ferre roll through Uber eats. It smushed a little bit but was still very enjoyable. A team member reached out about my notes in the comment section to make sure they got the treat how I wanted. They're always so friendly. ZRoll's is a great spot that is welcomed in Harrison, NJ. Located on Harrison Ave makes it accessible to those in the southern area of Harrison (riverbend), those residing in the core of the town as well as those further by Kearny. ZRoll's is on par with most other "roll type" ice cream places. Why I welcome zRolls is they have very creative and thoughtful with their "specials", they sell "hard ice cream" and bubble tea as well. The staff is always customer service oriented and really crank out orders at a reasonable price. It's a perfect combo of crunchy items and fluffy toppings. Their ice cream is on the pricier side around $6 however it is quite worth it. The portions are enough for two people to get really full on and three people to have a good taste of. Their rewards program is based exclusively on ice cream purchases and each purchase of an ice cream gives you an additional point. When you reach 10 points (10 purchases of an ice cream) you get a free ice cream. I just got my free ice cream the other day and have since been trying to stay more diligent with giving them my phone number when I make ice cream approaches so that I can get my next ice cream purchase. Went to this place off recommendation from friend. Has been opened a little over a month Small place. Went Sunday at 330pm and there were quiet a few ppl. Price was 6$ and .50 each additional topping. Basically paying for the experience for them to make it in front of you. Didn't feel it was worth it. The place in Harrison to help me with my bubble tea cravings!! Their ice cream is good too and they have a lot of options. My fave is the spring festival. The only thing I'm bitter about is they have a rewards system for ice cream only. No bubble tea - and whenever I get there later at night (typically 8-9pm after work), they run out of boba. They've been really sweet and accommodating at times, but they're constantly running out of tapioca before closing time means they should probably make more daily.
