I really love this place. The ice cream is made to order and its done quickly. Do to covid restrictions they still have in place you cant watch them make the ice cream like you used to but you can see the "magic" from a distance. Place looks clean. Only thing is thats a minor inconvenience is the tenants upstairs have ACs that drip directly in front of the door way.
The perfect way to end my night after Indian food right next door at Urban Tandoor. I've tried many rolled ice creams since they first became popular and some are either too icy or too creamy. I prefer mine on the icier side bc otherwise they melt too fast. My yogurt based Zrolls were just right. Ambiance: 3/5 Very spacious, but there were only 3 small tables close to the front of the shop. They have a large wall art that says 'You make me melt' which was cute, but it felt pretty empty towards the back where the bathroom was. F&B: 5/5 There was a pre-set rolled ice-cream menu and a bubble tea menu that had all the classic flavor profiles, but also some exciting options to keep things interesting. You can count on there being vanilla, chocolate, green tea, and mango, but what intrigued me was the yogurt boba in their 'parfait party'. Turns out it was a slightly healthier option but equally delicious. I had some 'jasmine green milk tea' and I LOVED it. You can easily taste the jasmine tea flavor and it wasn't too sweet. My only regret was not seeing the Viet Coffee flavored rolled ice option sooner. Service: 5/5 The cashier and server behind the counter handled our party of 7 very efficiently. I feel bad because we all asked for ours to be backed as to-go just in case we didn't get seats, but we all ended up eating them inside. Even with this extra step, they were able to put orders out quickly and neatly in bags.
Great variety. Customizable. Good portions. #10 is my fave. Spacious inside. Not a lot of seating. The workers are friendly. Join their points system for free ice cream too!
Amazing. Pocky, fruity pebbles, waffle cone crisps, and birthday cake ice cream! Definitely my dream come true. The best part is I don't have to think about adding the toppings!! This birthday cake concoction is already built in with every topping that I would have chosen myself. And it's really not that expensive for $7.00 (and I get it on UberEats). They also pack it extremely well, and it's never melted on arrival. I discovered ZRolls a week ago, and I've already been like two or three times LOL. I'll just blame the pandemic for that! I am sure everything else on the menu is terrific, so you MUST try them when you need ice cream. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
The ongoing pandemic has definitely taken a toll on a lot of businesses and public places since a consumer's mindset to buy anything outside of essentials or to visit a public place like a park or beach, has crippled down significantly. Now by living with what has become the new normal, it is commendable on how these businesses and public places continue to remain open and cater to the general public by following the safety standards. It is now all the more important that we as customers, support these heroes during these dark hours to mankind. This is a gem of an ice cream shop that you shouldn't miss out if you are in Harrison. We have been regular to this place both pre and post pandemic times. This place has great staff as much as the ice cream, who do quick checkouts and also prepare great ice creams. We recently got here and ordered Moody Mango and Ferre Roll. It's always a delight watching the staff prepare the ice cream, roll them and add the bobbas and other toppings that come along. They are well masked and shielded in order to follow all safety protocols. The ice creams are creamy and yummy that you would want to visit here for the second time. The store is located in a busy area and the street parking could be little tricky at times during peak hours.
This place has been on my radar for some time! There is street metered parking. We arrived and there was a line to order. The new location down the street has plenty of space but they have it closed off. I recommend opening it up to see how they make the z-rolls, and it will be a nice experience for the customers to watch. I gave it four stars due to the limited seating. There was plenty of traffic and orders were coming in, the staff shut down Uber eats because of the high volume. I suggest adding more tables and chairs to accommodate. We ordered a cookies and cream, grand s'mores and a dolce de peaches. A fun added plus they serve boba! I will definitely be returning back to z-rolls.
I love this place, come here often! The lines get pretty long but they go fast. Their ice cream is worth the wait. Their decor and aesthetics needs a lot of help! Since covid, they covered the inside area with some sort of plastic tarp to create a barrier between the workers and the people but even before then, the place was small barely had two table to sit on, and the paint job was so cheap looking. You could tell someone's uncle did it for like $20. It did the job but you can tell they put almost not effort into it. I still love the service, the workers are so friendly and the ice cream makes up for all the other stuff. They are planning to move facilities so I think this is their chance to flip their business into a "Must Go" trendy spot! Will review the new place when finally open!
This place is my latest obsession!! Every Friday afternoon for the past 3 weeks I have been to this spot. My first visit I got Tauro bubble tea and it was amazing!! The taste was fresh, the ice wasn't overwhelming, it made my whole week! The second time I got ice cream and it was sooooooo good, you can tell they make it with love. The different ice cream, chocolates combinations are pretty interesting. My lastrar visit, I got Thai tea, it was so good! The tapioca is definitely made by them and they keep it chewy just how I like it. I will be back for more
This is one of those must try spots! So this place has been open for a while and yet I've been here only a handful of times. Their hours of operation are after 3:00pm. It is very small indoors. Came here last on a hit summer night after the pandemic. Hi five ZRolls!!!! Their area of creating zrolls was all sealed up from customers. The register had just the right size for an opening space to hand over your payment. Only 4 ppl at a time are allowed indoors to pick up orders. All others waited patiently outside. I recommend calling in your order. Many ppl did just so and were in and out. Preorders are kept in a freezer and given out looking freshly made. Prices are fair considering that you are getting fresh everything with anything you're ordering. Therefore, everything tastes so good!!
The ice cream place was long awaited on my list. Got a chance to go today . The place was nice tiny and clean little shop filled with customers . Had mango flavored roll .. was yummy . Next time will pick up bubble tea .
Yes it is true! A small town Harrison has the best boba & ice cream place in east coast! Their brown sugar milk tea is just perfect. I usually ask to reduce sugar amount for my boba in other places but here I don't have to (at least for the brown sugar milk tea). I also love their matcha strawberry roll ice cream. This place knows how to make sweet desserts just sweet enough (meaning not too sweet). As an asian woman, many traditional american desserts are too sweet for me. And this place somehow figured out the right sweet scale. Is it pricey? Many rolled ice cream places charge even more than here. Compared to that, their pricing is actually quite reasonable. If you want really good boba and/or really good rolled ice cream. It's actually worth coming all the way to Harrison to try this.
came here the other day spontaneously - they look like they moved from one building to another and this place looks huge - new & clean. they take orders pretty quickly and made it within 5 minutes. i got the mango - it was $7 and it was creamy & delicious! i didn't want the mango pop so i was able to substitute it for pineapples instead which was nice.

Stopped here after a visit to Prudential Center in Newark. I remember coming here when it first opened years ago. There are parking meters on the main street but they were not active just yet. I ordered the Matcha Roll, my husband got the special Banana Pudding roll and my son got the Ferrerol - which is honestly probably their best one! They used to make the matcha topped with strawberries back in the day and the flavor profile was much better. The Ferrerol is 10/10 the best one. The banana pudding was very fresh and delicious as well. They also have bubble tea and slushies! read more

I can't believe I almost ... well I did ... denied myself rolled ice cream. I was like yea, that's stuff is not the real deal and I'm not messing with it. Lol but it's actually close to hard ice cream which I love and the flavors are super yummy. At this particular location, I love the piña colada, mango moody (or something like that lol), birthday cake and most recently the ferre roll. I had the ferre roll through Uber eats. It smushed a little bit but was still very enjoyable. A team member reached out about my notes in the comment section to make sure they got the treat how I wanted. They're always so friendly. Check them out if you have been side eyeing the whole rolled ice cream thing lol they have boba tea also. I only wish they had more pocky flavors read more

Such a cute spot! They open at 3pm and are still under what looks like maintenance. The ice cream is rolled and so good! We ordered #1 (strawberry shortcake cup) & the #3 (the Oreo cup) --next time we'll try the bubble tea! read more
Overpriced ice cream because it's mixed in front of you and rolled is the new fad. They only have one size, which is so big we had to get a cover to take it to go because we couldn't finish it. At least offer other sizes to appeal to more customers! Customer service and flavor selection is ok. Not my favorite place tho. read more

Great to have a place around North Jersey that serves Thai ice cream! Because it's such a unique concept in the area, it is always busy and the store is always packed but it's worth the wait. I tried the Spring Festival with Green Tea Pocky topping. Ice cream was mixed well, creamy, and flavorful. It's the perfect place for dessert and Instagram-worthy! read more

I'm not the biggest fan of ice-cream or sweets in general but this place actually makes me want to leave my house for it! They have many different options that are both yummy and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. My favorite is the grand s'mores one! They also serve bubble tea and a few special seasonal treats! Definitely check them out! read more

Yum yum yummy !!! We had been eyeing this place for quite sometime and we eventually decided to try this place on a Saturday evening, we were glad to have come. Both the bubble tea and ice cream rolls were fabulous They were generous with the tapioca pearls as well. A must try place if you crave Ice cream and Bubble tea. read more
A perfect location for rolled ice cream! The staff was very friendly from the beginning. They were able to answer our questions about the items on the menu and offered to set up a customer program where you receive a star for purchase you make. After you have reached 10 stars, you are able to receive a free item. There's enough room in the back to sit down with your party and eat your ice cream and relax. Accidentally, a member of my party dropped a chocolate from her ice cream. The staff was able to replace it without a problem! read more
Went to this place off recommendation from friend. Has been opened a little over a month Small place. Went Sunday at 330pm and there were quiet a few ppl. Price was 6$ and .50 each additional topping. Basically paying for the experience for them to make it in front of you. Didn't feel it was worth it. Ice cream was tasty but could have got something similar tasting from Dairy Queen for cheaper. Def a place to go at least once but don't think I would go again read more
OK so I noticed this summer the roll ice cream has taken over like frozen yogurt did!!! So , I decided to drive to my childhood town and try this spot out ! It was kind of tight - not a lot of furniture but hey it is new!!! The cashier girl was very friendly and helpful but the crew who makes the rolls were very quiet - didn't make any eye contact and a little stand offish- I understand it must be annoying and tiring to roll that ice cream all day long but listen at the end of the day is a new establishment summer is almost over and who wants ice cream in the winter?- customer service is everything specially when new! If u don't leave an impression there's no reason for people to return! Anyway it was pretty cool seeing them make the ice cream rolls right in front of me - it took me back to Xmas 1995 when I had asked Santa for an ice cream maker and it was the worst gift ever because it never turned into ice cream is more like a shake but it tasted so damn good although it never turned into ice cream.... Here at Z-Rolls it turned into ice cream but it didn't have much of a flavor sorry ! It tasted like milk and sugar and the toppings added the flavor but I wanted the ice cream to taste like something no bueno.... So I wanted to be adventurous and tried the Spring Festival which consisted of green tea ice cream , condensed milk, cheese cake, and red beans .... Now --- I read the menu wrong I thought it meant red bean ice cream not actual red beans oh well whatever the beans wasn't the issue it was the ice cream ! Customer service 1.5 Ice cream 1.5 You be the judge!!! read more

Boy do my boyfriend and I loooove ice cream, and Thai ice cream is one of my absolute favorites. Zrolls doesn't have that big of a variety but the ones that are available are amazing! I always go for the "Spring Festival", which is matcha green tea with mixed in strawberries and cheesecake, condensed milk mochi and optional sweet red beans. My boyfriends favorite is the "Strawberry Shortcake" which includes strawberries of course, graham crackers and whipped cream! Tip for all yelpers, all Thai rolled ice cream has a specific texture to it that some might not like so be aware. Overall this was a great little shop that my boyfriend and I will be regulars at! read more

For those who know & don't know, Harrison is a small town so I'm excited that a place like this is located here. At ZRolls you can definitely expect to have a delicious cup of Thai ice cream. One size cup for $6 & extra toppings (if you'll like) is 50 cents more each. My favorite is Strawberry Shortcake. Customer service is great. They will greet you as soon as you walk in & as soon as you leave. They are very attentive & that is always a good thing. Great place & the way the ice cream is made is very unique & cool to watch. Keep up the good work. I'M DEFINITELY GOING BACK & TRYING OTHER FLAVORS! read more
