We had been eager to try this eatery ever since it opened up over 7 months ago. My family loves trying different food and Asian fusion sound intriguing. Well today was the day! We were pleasantly greeted by Esther. She took the time to go over the menu and offered up suggestions since it was our first visit. We ordered Garlic Bulgogi Fries, and a platter with Salmon and garlic rice. We sat down took time to observe the decor while waiting for our food. The place has a nice atmosphere, it was very clean, the booth style seats were spacious. After 5 mins or so the Bulgogi fries arrived. The taste was ok. The fries without meat were seasoned well and tasted great. The Bulgogi was way too sweet for me, but my son liked them. We continued to wait for the salmon platter to arrive, 10 mins passed, then 20, finally it had been 30 mins and I inquired about the order. The manager/owner had no idea of why the food was never even made and asked us to wait 8 more minutes for them to cook it. Really?! We unfortunately didn't have that time. So he gave us a refund for the salmon, said they have a lot of training happening right now and that was it. I'm sorry but no- you've been opened almost 8 months. We came here to give it try around 4 in the afternoon. I was pleasantly surprised to find a very reasonably priced happy hour. I love that they have some good vegetable options. This one is a REAL surprise. I've been here twice in a week at different times and both times I was both impressed and delighted by the flavors. The first time I went was in the evening where I got their Filet Mignon plate with the garlic fried rice. Now, when I'm in a small place like this, I don't have high hopes for what they would call Filet Mignon, but I was completely shocked when I took a bite of theirs. Extremely tender, juicy and flavorful. I could hardly believe it. For the price I paid, I'm more than happy with they served me. They also have a variety of sauces which really enhance the already amazing flavors of the food. Definitely coming back. The second time, I was with some friends coming back from a tea spot and we felt like picking up some snacks and I remembered that they sell popcorn chicken and other finger food goodies. Luckily for us, they had a Happy Hour deal and we got two orders of their popcorn chicken, roasted cauliflower and cajun fries for around $12 which was great considering how much food we got from it. I read about it and the reviews brought me here. I went on Saturday afternoon and the place was literally empty, gladly. The cashier was nice. She mentioned us about the most popular items in the menu and we decided to give it a try. She gave us a number, we got a table, and few minutes later our food was served. Presentation was great. I was missing a little bit of flavor in the noodles but it was okay. I personally think it is a little bit overpriced. Sup seems more affordable for me and the portions are bigger. We were supposed to go to another restaurant that we saw on Yelp, but apparently they are now closed for business, so we stumbled upon this restaurant 2 miles down the road in Cypress. Located off of Orange & Valley View, it's located in a mini-shopping mall. We came in on a Sunday afternoon, and at first, it was empty, but started crowding up slowly. We tend to get so full when we order full meals so we opted dishes off the appetizer side. Seasonal Salad This salad looks aesthetically colorful and pretty, but even better is the taste. The greens taste fresh and the use of radish and cut onions marinated well together. I have no idea what the dressing is, but spot on, goes so well. Tamarind Chicken Wings This was one of the best wings I've had by far. The chicken is cooked so well, and it didn't taste dry at all. With the additive sauce, the chicken had full of flavor. There were 8, which was the right amount for the two of us to share. BBQ Char Siu Bao Even though this is not a Chinese restaurant, the baos were not only delicious but rich in flavor. The pork melted in my mouth, and I really enjoyed the texture too. It was as if I ate them at an authentic Chinese restaurant. Drinks We ordered a Thai ice tea and lemonade with cucumber. The Thai ice tea wasn't super sweet but sweet enough to taste a bit of the sugar. The lemonade tasted super fresh and seemed like freshly squeezed, not some bottled material. Service & Price Phenomenal, and I have absolutely nothing to complain about. Everything was so well priced right and I felt as if we paid a bargain for some amazing delicious food. Tasty food, large portions and worth the price. Came on a weekend during lunch and were able to immediately order and find a good seat. We selected two appetizers, the Chile Lime Cauliflower and the Roasted Brussel Sprouts. I was initially skeptical since the menu price for each was $9, but the portions are large, almost an entree size on their own, and the taste on both was scrumptious. Both the Chile Lime Cauliflower and the Roasted Brussel Sprouts are topped with the same Thai Chile-Lime Vinaigrette sauce, and man is it good.The veggies are tossed, so all are evenly coated and there isn't pockets of heavy application. Both veggies were roasted until tender, with little blackened portions. The cauliflower holds its integrity while some of the outer layers of the sprouts come off in the bowl. For main entrees we build our own plates, one with a based of Garlic Noodles and Atlantic Salmon as the protein, and the other with Roasted Garlic Rice base and Filet Mignon protein. For the bases the Garlic Noodles are a tad better than the Roasted Garlic Rice. The rice has heavy garlic (lots of chopped pieces in it), but that's it for flavor. The noodles have a slighter garlic flavor, but bring along the starch from noodles. They also reheat better, if you somehow don't finish it all in one sitting. The Salmon is seared with skin on one side, and then topped with a sweet soy sauce. The cooking was to perfection, the skin easily comes off, and the filet itself was gigantic (view pic). The sweet soy sauce also has mushrooms in it, so be aware. The Filet Mignon is also seared and served in a house soy sauce. This sauce was not as robustly flavorful as the sweet soy sauce on the salmon, and I would compare to French Beef Cubes (but not in a cube shape). Most of the beef was good quality, but there were one or two bites that high higher fat content (gristle). I would rather try the Gochujang Spare Ribs than have the filet mignon again. Both plates came with a side salad. The dressing is a garlic ginger dressing, very light, common but tasty flavor. At this point you've probably noted that garlic is a core ingredient is just about every dish here. For a drink we tried the Jasmine Lychee Tea. This sported the aroma of jasmine, with the sweetness of lychee, with a perfect sweetness level for a white guy (comparable to 25-50% sweetness at a boba place), but a bit too much for an asian gal. Take a sip and then dilute with some water to adjust the sweetness to your desired level. read more

I've been coming here since they first opened a couple months ago and they never disappoint. It's become one of my favorite go-to spots and probably go here once a week or every other week. I've tried the filet mignon, tiger shrimp, rotisserie chicken, Atlantic salmon, and they've been consistently great each visit. Not a big fan of kimchi but I absolutely LOVED their kimchi when they were still giving it away for free when they first opened. I think the only thing that hasn't been consistent are their garlic noodles. Some days the noodles are better than others but I don't think I've ever had a "bad" serving of garlic noodles. I've also turned vegetarian since this place first opened and have been able to try a few items off their vegetarian/vegan menu and those were phenomenal as well. The seasonal salad is definitely one of the best I've ones I've ever had and each ingredient goes so perfectly well together. Even their dressing is on point. Their roasted chile lime brussel sprouts are favorite. Also tried their vegetarian pad Thai and was not disappointed. Okay well basically I just really love this place lol. Their happy hour is such a great deal and I'll be taking advantage of that more in my next visits. I ended up having to wait 30 minutes for my food, only to be given someone else's order. I walked away to my car with the other person's food and when I returned the order they didn't even bother repackaging or remaking it for the other customer. They only have a menu with tiny letters behind them that you have to squint to read from the cashier counter. Very few menu items come without additional cost. The filet mignon was the only good thing we got honestly.. it was tender and flavorful. It was still overpriced though, in my opinion for the amount received. Wanted to eat some pho soup and my usual spot was already closed so gave this place a try. The inside/outside is clean with limited seating. I ordered a ribeye pho because I didn't see the combo pho. When I found it I went back to the register to change my order and they charged me $5.00 extra for the two additional meats. Now the Riley pho is $11 and the combo pho is $12 why did he just charge me $4 more, when he said it would be an additional $1.00 ? I waited about 20 minutes for our orders along with about 8other people, they were so behind and forgot to prepare one of the items so we had to wait longer. Tables were not cleaned off when people left so it became a little crowded. The pho meat tasted and looked like they just boiled it in water no flavor I mean none. I really wanted to like this place because the smells from the kitchen were so good, but one of the cooks had his mask down by his mouth, not good and the young lady was using the same pair of gloves to get rice for orders,open the fridge, touch the computer screen then wiped them on a towel and proceeded to do it all over again. This is a very nice small restaurant located in a stripe mall...I think it's located in a fantastic place. This place is a gem - the food was prepared fresh, everything was done well. Our waiter, Brian took our order, waited on us and checked on us at least twice. The decorum is extremely contemporary with wood throughout the interior. They were very aware of their clients, as the sun begin to shift and shine brightly into the restaurant they were considerate in lowering the shade without having to be asked. They've only been opened for a couple of months with a separate location in Newport Beach. Brian took the time to share with us some of the restaurant's future plans to expand. There are 8 tables/booths each with it's own sets of outlets; the center isle also had 12 small stools with community seating with outlets on both sides. We ordered the appetizers which were their chicken wings with Garlic Butter sauce ($6.95), Chile Lime Cauliflower tossed in Thai Chili Lime Vinaigrette ($8.95), the main course was ($11.95) where you can choose a base either Cilantro Rice or Noodles, you can then select a protein which is either Tiger Shrimp, Atlantic Salmon, Rotisserie Chicken, Baby Back Ribs, (Gochujang or Lemon Grass) or Filet Mignon...you can select the extra's of fried eggs, Mixed Green Miso soup or Kimchee with a wide variety of drinks and tea. We got the Horchata (delicious) and my all time favorite, the Vietnamese Coffee. House Special is a 62 oz jar of any drink for $12.95.
