We did a walk through before starting the move and went over what all needed to be moved. The movers came promptly on the day we agreed upon to move my belongings. These movers handled my things with care and were professional. No complaints with the movers in Tacoma. After my things were taken and moved to their storage facility, I attempted to call in to get an update on when my things would be picked up and the process and that's where the communication started to drop. I called in several times and conveniently the person I was requesting to talk to was never available. I never received calls back from the person who I was requesting to speak with. I would only receive updates every couple of days and my delivery date was delayed. I was contacted by a delivery person a day before my delivery date in KY. He did arrive on the date he said he'd be there however it was extremely unprofessional. He originally arrived by himself and said he was waiting on a mover to show up. I later found out he hired a random guy off of Craigslist to help him move my belongings in my house. He charged me extra money because we "had stairs." They did not lay out anything to cover my carpets which were dirty after they were done. There were several marks and scuffs on my walls from them banging furniture carelessly. Because they were not experienced movers, they almost dropped an expensive piece of furniture while carrying it upstairs. Instead of completely dropping it, they dropped it into the wall creating a large divot. I was so anxious that they might continue to damage furniture, my fiancé and I helped them carry furniture. They were not fit to do this job and did not come with the correct amount of people to move my items. There were several pieces of my furniture that were damaged (not sure if it were due to them or during the move). I did appreciate that they put an AirTag in one of my boxes and nothing was missing! Overall, I would not hire this company again due to the poor communication.

We put out feelers on yelp for moving companies and got several responses within a day or two asking for more information and giving generic quotes. Earl's was definitely one of the most affordable options which both delighted me and made me feel a bit nervous. I should preface by saying our last moving experience (look up We Like 2 Move It Move It to read a very delightful little story) was absolutely horrific and as bad as it can get- including stolen items, hidden fees, over 100% charged above the quoted estimate, etc. so, we were VERY cautious about who we hired this time around. For reference, we were moving from a 2x1 in Bellevue to a 2x2 in Woodinville. Earl and Russell were wonderful and worked their asses off for us. They require a 3 hour minimum (which makes sense), and while they didn't tell us up front about the compensation for drive time and such, it really wasn't an issue. We paid well under $1,000 for about 5 hours total time. They took great care of our fragile items and you could tell Earl really cared about providing great service and making sure he continued on with the great reputation he had worked so hard for. I work in the apartment industry and recommend/work with moving companies regularly, and I will now be giving great word of mouth and referrals for Earl's affordable moving.

They Called us promptly at 0900 and stated that they were to be here in a few minutes. Communication was amazing! This is our first time working with movers so my fiancé and I were a little nervous. When we met Justin Bell and Gus, they had made the whole experience and transition so nice! I was very impressed of how quickly they had moved all of our items and furniture to the moving truck! They wrapped our furniture very nicely and always had an upbeat attitude( Side note, we live on the second floor) Throughout the whole process, they were chatting with us and laughing and just in good spirits, again I am very impressed. Once we got to our destination, they were quick and swift in retrieving our belongings and bringing them down stairs and was able to place my items where they needed to be. An update: September 2026…read more It has now been over two months since my move in early July, and I am once again having issues with All Service Moving. This morning I received three back-to-back calls (9:16, 9:17, 9:19) from the company while I was in a meeting. The first call went to voicemail, but they continued calling. I have not been given any explanation for why they are suddenly contacting me months later. This is especially frustrating because after my move, the movers repeatedly contacted my personal phone pressuring me for a tip and a five-star review. I eventually had to block the number. The move itself also went poorly. The truck they brought could not access my loading area despite the information and photos I provided beforehand, resulting in additional trips and delays. A move estimated at 3-4.5 hours took around 6.5 hours and cost over $1,000. When I submitted a claim, Operations Manager Donald Stansbury essentially dismissed it with a very short, poorly written email stating they could not provide any reimbursement or refund. I had hoped the matter was over. Now, two months later, I am receiving repeated calls about the claim with no clear explanation. I would recommend keeping all communication with this company documented and in writing.

The JVA moving crew were meticulous in packing our belongings- it was dumping rain and they wrapped just about everything we owned to ensure it did not get wet; we didn't even have to ask, they just did their thing! And FAST. The load and unload time was extremely impressive, and the men who worked on our move- Tom, Cale, and Tyler, were so respectful and considerate- totally went above and beyond. I then placed a call to schedule the delivery which was answered by a LIVE person who had just seen my online request. He said "it sounds like you need the container ASAP so if you would like two of them delivered this afternoon we can do that and deliver the other two the following day". And they ACTUALLY followed through on their promise. They were kind, respectful, honest and prompt. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND UNITS located in Kent, WA.
