I mentioned that I had a kitchen fridge and stove to move as well. 2 quotes later, neither one of them were listed correctly under the kitchen section. I tried to change it myself online as soon as I realized it but the portal was not user-friendly. I sent an email stressing that I needed both packing and moving of heavy bedroom furniture help and the kitchen appliances too. Then I called to alert Eco Movers personnel to my email asking that the "quote/estimate/contract" be corrected to reflect the changes accurately. The changes were not new information, they were just a correction to the errors that were on the original/initial quote. The worker called me and told me not to worry because the quote was just an estimate. This is not true as I found out the hard way. Once you sign the "quote" it becomes a contract that they can and do enforce. Like the weekend policy of them charging you for a minimum of 4 hrs even if, in my case, the workers only worked 2.5 or 3 hrs. The movers showed up to my home and informed me that the "contract" did not specifically stipulate that they would pack anything. Days earlier the worker on the phone assured me they could and would supply moving boxes and other "packing" materials and I could pay at the end for whatever I (via their workers) used of their packing materials. He even said the movers would supply special boxes for dishes and kitchen glasses and other fragile items. This turned out to not be true. When they arrived, the movers did not have any boxes to use to pack up my home except for 3 or 4 small boxes sitting in their truck. I would have needed at least a dozen or so large/heavy duty moving boxes. I used none of their boxes or packing materials but they tried to bill me $46 for "materials." When I asked what this "materials" fee was for I was told it was for their fuel for their truck. Last I checked fuel is not called materials, it is called fuel or gasoline or diesel. We don't go to the materials station to get gas or diesel for our cars and work trucks. We go to the gas station. Gas is very expensive right now and Diesel fuel is about $6.00 per gallon. If you are charging for gasoline/diesel fuel just say that in the initial "quote" and on the final bill so that the customer is fully informed ahead of time. I complained that this was a deceptive way to bill customers (by calling fuel "material" and not fuel) and they took that fee off of my bill. They moved my large dresser mirror downstairs, into their truck and later into my storage unit and didn't bother to wrap it or try to protect it at all. That is very lazy work. Also, they accused me of having something in my home that I absolutely did not have. I explained to all 3 of the movers and their manager on the phone that it was just burnt candle wick cuttings but they terminated my move after 2.5 hrs and billed me for 4 hrs. I paid the 4 hrs bill but I will NEVER recommend Eco Movers. They completely ruined my move.

We put out feelers on yelp for moving companies and got several responses within a day or two asking for more information and giving generic quotes. Earl's was definitely one of the most affordable options which both delighted me and made me feel a bit nervous. I should preface by saying our last moving experience (look up We Like 2 Move It Move It to read a very delightful little story) was absolutely horrific and as bad as it can get- including stolen items, hidden fees, over 100% charged above the quoted estimate, etc. so, we were VERY cautious about who we hired this time around. For reference, we were moving from a 2x1 in Bellevue to a 2x2 in Woodinville. Earl and Russell were wonderful and worked their asses off for us. They require a 3 hour minimum (which makes sense), and while they didn't tell us up front about the compensation for drive time and such, it really wasn't an issue. We paid well under $1,000 for about 5 hours total time. They took great care of our fragile items and you could tell Earl really cared about providing great service and making sure he continued on with the great reputation he had worked so hard for. I work in the apartment industry and recommend/work with moving companies regularly, and I will now be giving great word of mouth and referrals for Earl's affordable moving.

They Called us promptly at 0900 and stated that they were to be here in a few minutes. Communication was amazing! This is our first time working with movers so my fiancé and I were a little nervous. When we met Justin Bell and Gus, they had made the whole experience and transition so nice! I was very impressed of how quickly they had moved all of our items and furniture to the moving truck! They wrapped our furniture very nicely and always had an upbeat attitude( Side note, we live on the second floor) Throughout the whole process, they were chatting with us and laughing and just in good spirits, again I am very impressed. Once we got to our destination, they were quick and swift in retrieving our belongings and bringing them down stairs and was able to place my items where they needed to be. All of our furniture and items arrived with no issues and no complaints. I definitely recommend Justin Bell and Gus! If you guys are ever are needing Movers, really, get these guys! They are so much fun and made this move for us a GREAT experience! They are such hard workers and you can definitely see it in their work ethic and attitude! Thank you guys for an amazing job and the laughs! I appreciate you guys so much! Unfortunately,I was not able to grab a photo as they worked and moved so quickly!

Horrible moving experience -- significantly exceeded estimate, poor planning, and no resolution…read more I had a very disappointing experience with All Service Moving. I was originally given an estimate of approximately 3-4.5 hours and $690-$800 for my small single bedroom apartment. Instead, my move took approximately 6.5 hours and cost me over $1,000. A major issue was the truck that was sent for my move. I was moving out of an approximately 600-square-foot apartment, and the truck was significantly larger than necessary -- it ended up being only about 40% full. Because of the truck's size, it couldn't access the loading area where it needed to park, which meant the movers had to make much longer trips between the truck and my apartment. This added a considerable amount of time to the move. Photos and information about both locations were available beforehand, and had been viewed so I don't understand why an appropriately sized truck wasn't selected. The other major issue was the pace of the move. I repeatedly observed the movers not actively working. Nearly every time I went outside, they were standing around talking, laughing, or on their phones. When I went back into my apartment while they were working inside, I observed similar periods where they were not actively moving items. I completely understand that reasonable breaks are necessary, but this was far beyond what I expected when I was being charged by the hour. The movers were polite during the actual move, and I initially had no concerns about their interpersonal conduct. Unfortunately, that changed afterward. One of the movers began repeatedly contacting me on my personal phone asking about a tip and a five-star review. I repeatedly explained that I intended to tip but was waiting for a bank transfer to clear and that it would take a few days. Despite that explanation, I received multiple texts a day asking about it. I ultimately felt harassed and uncomfortable enough that I blocked the number. I contacted the company afterward and gave them a detailed explanation of my concerns, including the oversized truck, the additional time and cost, the repeated periods where the movers weren't actively working, and the inappropriate pressure regarding the tip. Unfortunately, they did nothing to resolve the situation. The Operations Manager's response was simply: "It is Unfortunate that I must inform you That we cannot issue you any kind of reimburse you any kind of refund." There was no meaningful response to the specific concerns I raised and no attempt to address why a move estimated at 3-4.5 hours and $690-$800 turned into a 6.5-hour, $1,000+ move. I was promised a certain level of service and a guaranteed timeframe/cost, and that expectation was not met. I gave the company an opportunity to make the situation right, and they declined to do anything. I would strongly recommend getting very specific information about truck size, access, estimated hours, and what happens if the move significantly exceeds the estimate before booking with this company. My experience left me feeling like I paid substantially more because of poor planning and an inefficient move, and then received no meaningful response when I brought those concerns to the company.
