What really stood out was how helpful they were. Toward the end of the move, I thought I was missing a bag with some valuable personal items. Without hesitation, they went all the way back to my old place with me to help search for it. That window, and the fact that it's a standard (not guaranteed) service, only came up when the crew showed up for pickup. * The 12% fuel surcharge was never mentioned verbally. * My original estimate was $3,655.68 for 350 cu.ft. By the time I signed, it was $5,262.12 for 425 cu.ft. -- 44% higher, sprung on me with the crew already there. * Their initial sales email explicitly called delivery within 21 business days "guaranteed." That word was never used again in any later communication once it mattered. * I was told my shipment would dispatch "this week." It didn't, no update, no explanation. Delivery ultimately showed up roughly 10 business days after their own contractual deadline. The driver didn't even know his own company owed a $30/day late penalty -- he had to check. I only got that credit because I pushed for it myself. Then, on delivery day, they sent a full-size 18-wheeler to an apartment complex with a normal circular parking lot entrance that other carriers handle without issue. It couldn't get in. Goods had to be reloaded onto a smaller truck on the spot -- a completely avoidable failure that ate back into the small credit I'd just fought for. Every step of this, from the first sales call to the delivery truck itself, required me catching something they either omitted or got wrong. Would not use again and would not recommend.

Two hours from start to finish. They (two men) moved all my stuff from a bedroom to my new studio apartment in under the three hour minimum--but that's okay. With the truck rental it was $437 total. These guys--the do not milk the clock. They move with speed, putting everything in these huge 60" x 24" boxes, except for the furniture. EVERYTHING gets wrapped like a palette 360 degrees around. I just stayed out of their way, and within one hour they had everything loaded up. They brought a 24' truck, which was bigger than I expected. The drive was 30 minutes to my new place and unloading took about 45 minutes. They had me sign a standard moving contract, and I absolutely appreciate the 10% military discount, and another 3% for paying cash. FANTASTIC, could not say one thing bad. Nearly $1,000 for an Incomplete Move, Property Damage, and Unacceptable Service…read more My experience with Man with a Truck Moving was extremely disappointing and stressful. I paid approximately $984 in cash for a three-person moving team, originally scheduled for four hours with an additional hour added. Despite paying nearly $1,000, the move was left significantly incomplete. Before the move, I explained that I am disabled, my adult daughter is disabled, and we have a two-year-old child. I specifically hired professional movers to handle the heavy items we could not safely move ourselves, including our couch, dining table and chairs, living-room chairs, curio cabinet, grandfather clock without its weights, freezer, two queen-size beds, king-size mattress, storage dressers, patio furniture, and numerous boxes containing fragile belongings. We packed to the best of our ability. Fragile boxes were clearly marked "FRAGILE," while heavy boxes were labeled "50+ POUNDS" with arrows showing which side should remain upright. Although the movers transported many boxes, they left a substantial amount behind. They initially attempted to leave the couch, freezer, curio cabinet, and grandfather clock--the primary heavy items I had hired them to move. I had to insist that these items be taken. The tallest mover behaved carelessly around my family. He repeatedly bumped my 24-year-old disabled daughter with boxes as she tried to move out of his way. While using a dolly, he nearly struck my two-year-old grandchild three separate times instead of stopping or moving over in the hallway. I finally had to firmly tell him to be careful and not run into her. This was frightening and completely unacceptable. That same mover also caused a hole approximately one to one-and-a-half inches wide in the apartment wall. I sent pictures and requested that the company at least pay for the damage, but it has not been resolved. The on-site job manager spent most of the time outside loading the truck, so he did not properly supervise what was happening inside. His communication and coordination could have been much better. I do want to acknowledge that the third mover--the shorter, stockier gentleman--was polite, kind, attentive, and helpful. Unfortunately, his professionalism could not make up for the overall experience. The company also brought approximately 10-15 large, empty wardrobe boxes even though I had clearly said we did not need them. During the additional hour I paid for, valuable time was spent reloading their unused boxes instead of finishing my move. Those boxes should never have been brought after I specifically declined them, and dealing with them should not have taken away from the time I was paying for. By the time the movers left, there was still a large amount of property remaining, including the metal patio table and chairs on my balcony. The apartment was still a mess, and I had to rent a U-Haul to finish transporting everything myself. As someone with limited financial resources and physical disabilities, this created an enormous additional burden. I contacted a person named Rob, whom I understood to be management. He listened to my concerns and said he would rectify the situation by sending movers back. I explained that we had only five days remaining to empty and clean the apartment. He never followed through or contacted me again. By the third day, with no response and time running out, I told him not to send anyone because I could no longer rely on the company. I contacted him again about repairing the hole in the wall. He claimed he had not received the photographs, even though they had been sent. Nearly three weeks later, I have received no meaningful follow-up or resolution. I have photographs documenting the condition of the apartment, the large amount left behind, and the wall damage. This was not the level of service anyone should receive after paying nearly $1,000 in cash. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Man with a Truck Moving. Their claimed years of experience were not reflected in the quality, care, communication, or completeness of the service I received. I also had no idea that they offered senior pricing. The man that hit my daughter with boxes and that almost ran into my Grandchild was caught numerous times on his phone. am labeling this as overpriced based off of the service that I received. I shared the hole in the wall, 2 of the messages....I am not looking anymore for pictures. This was a traumatic experience and after this review I know that I wont hear from them in regards to any of this.

When we met Justin Bell and Gus, they had made the whole experience and transition so nice! I was very impressed of how quickly they had moved all of our items and furniture to the moving truck! They wrapped our furniture very nicely and always had an upbeat attitude( Side note, we live on the second floor) Throughout the whole process, they were chatting with us and laughing and just in good spirits, again I am very impressed. Once we got to our destination, they were quick and swift in retrieving our belongings and bringing them down stairs and was able to place my items where they needed to be. An update: September 2026…read more It has now been over two months since my move in early July, and I am once again having issues with All Service Moving. This morning I received three back-to-back calls (9:16, 9:17, 9:19) from the company while I was in a meeting. The first call went to voicemail, but they continued calling. I have not been given any explanation for why they are suddenly contacting me months later. This is especially frustrating because after my move, the movers repeatedly contacted my personal phone pressuring me for a tip and a five-star review. I eventually had to block the number. The move itself also went poorly. The truck they brought could not access my loading area despite the information and photos I provided beforehand, resulting in additional trips and delays. A move estimated at 3-4.5 hours took around 6.5 hours and cost over $1,000. When I submitted a claim, Operations Manager Donald Stansbury essentially dismissed it with a very short, poorly written email stating they could not provide any reimbursement or refund. I had hoped the matter was over. Now, two months later, I am receiving repeated calls about the claim with no clear explanation. I would recommend keeping all communication with this company documented and in writing.

They unloaded my U-box into a truck in a half hour and then unloaded it all into my new apartment in an hour. They were careful with my things and did the move quick and efficiently!
